This ancient amphitheatre is, along with the aqueduct, one of the oldest buildings in the city, restored from its previous state to serve as a venue to hold major events. Its superb acoustically-inclined architecture makes it perfect for concerts.
Its name, Parlasci, originated as the mispronunciation of the Latin word "paralisium", meaning "amphitheatre".
