Museo di Lucca - 1 Viewing Youngest of the 'old' buildings in historical Lucca, the city museum was built in the 18th century as a means to assist with the burgeoning efforts of the city to properly preserve its ancient heritage. Exhibits are open from 8AM to 7PM, and souvenirs are cheap but high quality! |

Now, it serves as many roles as it has wings - as City Hall in one section, and a tourist attraction in another. Its Clock Tower is frequently visited by tourists who want the best view of the historical district. |
