I know, weird question, but I need to know this for the sake of accurately measuring one of my characters' (Gabe) mas Prana count.
The Faust family, which Gabriel is a part of, are the descendents of Johann Georg Faust (born in 1480, died in 1540), the same person that the protagonist of the 1587 chapbook, Historia von D. Johann Fausten, was based on. Though I haven't written it down in his profile yet, the family history goes something like this. Faust makes a deal with a true demon named Mephistopheles, and in exchange for magical knowledge, Faust agrees to let Mephistopheles pretty much sell himself to to the demon, after 24 years. Faust impregnates his beloved Gretchin with a child before Mephistopheles returns to claim Faust as his property, and the knowledge Faust learned in exchange for his very being is passed on to future generations.
Of course, since the descendents also learn this knowledge, they are subject to the same deal, and are claimed by Mephistopheles as well 24 years after birth. Because of how little time each member of the Faust family has to pass on their gene, they are forced to be wed at age 15 and bear a child in their teens. This is where the problem comes in.
If a family of magi constantly reproduces during their teen years, and thus produce more generations per century than the average magi family, does the rate of the generational increase in Prana actually increase faster than that of other families? And if so, how much? And even then, how does the modern state of magical decline effect this?
Gosh, the nasuverse is complicated.

This part I can actually answer without speaking with other mods. Basically... no. The majority of your prana is supposed to come from the crest. By transfering the crest so early, you will have no additional circuits in it, because there has been less time for one mind to research, so you will actually have less prana overall. In addition you would not have as much decrease to the cast time of your magecraft. Not only those, but also more generations encourages more rapid decline, and you also risk potential desociation with the Crest.
It is not a simple thing to enhance a crest, after all~

If that's the case, I'm fine with dropping him and making another character. Since Gabriel's entire backstory relies on the whole mephistopheles thing, I'm not up for re-editing. My policy is, if a story sucks, rather than trying to fix it, you throw it out and make a new one.
Feel free to move Gabe, who is in Secundus, into inactive.
