I was surfing /tg/ earlier, and there was a link to this site. It seems like an interesting community with some decent RP, so I'm willing to give it a shot.
So how does this work, exactly? I use the Skills and Parameters wiki you guys have to stat out Socrates and wait for the 3-strike approval? What about the Master assignment? I don't suppose I could play both Master and Servant, but under different names?
Also, the threads are kind of spread out so keeping chronology straight seems a bit strange. I guess it's easy to keep track of once you're involved?

Nope. No playing the Master and Servant of an individual team. What you do, is go to the Request Forum, and either make a thread requesting a Master for Socrates, OR, look for a thread with a Master requesting a Servant, read their profile, and then, if you think they're good for you, tell them that you'd be willing to work with them.
And character creation is relatively straightforward. You make up your NPs, look for skills that would fit Socrates, make some up yourself if you want, along with stats, and then you brin git for approval.

I noted that there are multiple copies of the same role. Are there more than 7 Master/Servant pairs participating?
Also of note: I'm not the biggest authority on the Nasuverse magic system. I've read up on Magic Circuits, Bounded Fields and all that, as well as playing through FSN. Will it be a problem if I'm not a master of... *checks notes* 'High-Speed Divine Words' or the entire contract with the 'Will of Mankind' stuff?

Character creation box? That sounds fantastic! I've been trying to piece together stuff from the other character sheets, and let me tell you: Solomon seems to be some mean competition. Decent template for a Caster though.
I don't want to bug you guys constantly about getting the actual mechanics to work, but I really don't know how to describe a majority of the concepts in proper 'Noble Phantasm' form without sounding ridiculous. (Well, more ridiculous than a spear that breaks cause and effect, a barrier that dissolves people into blood or a sword that is invisible due to magical air currents.) Is there a way I can ask for advice without having to take up precious admin time?
You don't have to worry about bugging the staff for character creation. They're here for that; it's their job to help out new members. If you ever need help, just go on the cbox and ask for help for a character or whatnot~ Then they'll (along with a few other members like me) help you with your character.
Anyway, welcome to the board, man.
