TITLE: // The Sky's Champion
RANK: // Anti-Person
APPEARANCE: // A large Bird of Prey, normally eagle-like in looks.
INFORMATION: // It is known as the Elephant Bird due to it's feeding habit of lifting elephants up high into the air and dropping them to feast on their smashed bodies. Marco Polo was once noted as saying, To feed, "it will seize an elephant in its talons and carry him high into the air, and drop him so that he is smashed to pieces." The story of Sinbad stated that it's legs were as big as tree trunks. Even nowadays it is known as the biggest bird ever.
All of this makes the roc or the rukh as creature to be feared. While normally the roc could be seen as a creature that only attacks those of neutral or chaotic alignments (according to DnD)the Grail's corrupting influence has changed this creature into a mad magically inclined animal that will attack at any who dare cross it.
SPECIAL ABILITIES: //
Immense Physical Strength and Endurance
The Roc was known to pick up elephants with ease. This translates to it being able to pick up groups of people in it's talons with ease. After all what one person weights more than an elephant? It's endurance makes sure that even lifting elephant for a long period of time will be no challenge for the bird of prey.
Spell Resistance
Thanks to the Grail, this version of the Roc is resistant to any spell that is D-ranked or lower. Thankfully for magi, C-rank and up will work just fine. Though just one spell will not be enough to bring it down.
Lightning Wielder
The roc was often noter to resemble the Thunder-bird of American myth and this reason is due to more than it's size. What the legends do not say about the real thing is that it's name is not just for show and the roc follows suit appropriately. Thankfully it takes time to charge the electricity up so if a warrior can defeat it quickly enough, the bird will not be able to use it's power.
