- Narcisism
- Imhotep has done many a grand deed over his lifetime, from studying medicine to designing the first Egyptian Pyramid. Over the years this has begun to go to his head, and now he sees none (save the gods and their children, the Kings of Egypt.) to be his equal."For mine is glory that shall outshine any man."
- Polymath
- A man of many talents, Imhotep is the earliest known polymath. He was an innovator in fields as diverse as medicine, architecture, poetry, astrology, and many more. He is extremely intelligent and very quick to pick up new information."Where you see challenges, Imhotep sees child's play. Where you see impossibility, Imhotep sees glory."
- Loyal
- Although quite full of himself, none can argue that Imhotep did not serve his king well. Those who Imhotep has deemed worthy of his services he will lavish with his care and his creations. Imhotep would move the heavens themselves if his master commanded it. "Of course, first you must prove yourself worthy to earn the services of Imhotep."
- A man of simple pleasures
- Although it would seem that Imhotep would accept nothing but the finest, this was not the case. He frequently wore common clothes and preferred to walk places rather than ride. "For Imhotep is a man not to flaunt his position. The people know greatness no matter what it wears."

MY LEGEND: //
A brief description
To expand upon the greatness of Imhotep
MY HISTORY: //
Ah yes, it has been long since I, the mighty Imhotep, remembered my distant past. I was born common, far from the glory I would achieve, in Ankhtowë, a simple suburb of Memphis, as the son of a simple craftsman and his wife. The gods had, however, seen fit to bless me with a mind unparalleled in my day. No subject was too complex or esoteric for the likes of Imhotep! However, even with a mind like mine I would need help to climb from my origins. I dedicated myself to Ptah, the earthen mound, he who called creation into being. Through his favor, and my brilliance and dedication, I rose through the ranks of Egyptian society with unparalleled speed. My journey came to its peak when I became High Priest of Heliopolis, the religious center of all of Egypt.
Soon I was also named Vizier to none other than Lord Djoser, King of Egypt. A true king he was, a visionary who recognized my multi-faceted skills and let me advance them as I pleased. I dove into the learnings of any variety, scripture, poetry, and astrology. However, two vocations called to me like no other.
First was Medicine; not the decrepit and superstitious "healing" that was passed in those days (A few had merit, but most were foolish shaman and con men) but the study of its body and its workings. I saw that the body of man followed laws, and these laws could be used and manipulated. I could heal the sick and treat the wounded without magic and charms, I could do it with herbs, intelligence, and Science!. Over two hundred diseases fell before me, and I founded the school Asklepion, which perfected my arts for two thousand years.
My second calling was born from my parentage and my prodigious faith, and that was the arts of craftsmanship and architecture. Yes, those are two arts but I saw them in essence as the same, to create somehing out of nothing, to do as lord Ptah had done and craft elegance from unliving stone. I practiced pottery until my hands were too old to move, and I became a master of the art. However, my greatest feat, the one that has withstood the test of time, was my Pyramid. Born from architecture, craftsmanship, and astrology, the pyramid was my greatest gift to King Djoser, for it was the tomb he requisitioned of me. And what a tomb it was! A monolith of stone, standing proudly in the desert to this very day! Five thousand years and my work still stands!
As I gazed upon my work, however, I came to realize the truth of what it meant to be immortal. My tomb would assist my King on his journey to the afterlife, and would safeguard him for millenia to come, but would he be remembered? As I looked deeper inside myself I saw farther into the future; when Egypt ends, as all things do, would my King be remembered? Will the pyramid become nameless, a testament to a man who never was? What of me? Is it possible for my name to outlive my works? Will the name "Imhotep" be revered long after my pyramid has been driven to sand? This was the thought that haunted me as I lay upon my deathbed, and now it haunts me still.
But, now I have a chance. What you call war, I call opportunity. What you peons call enemies I call obstacles. What you speak of in awe as the grail, I, the great Imhotep, call immortality!
MY GOALS: //
To claim the Holy Grail and use it to ensure that the name of Imhotep will never be forgotten.

The Staff of Ptah
A beautiful staff carved from the finest wood, gold, and lapis lazuli. The object is actually a construction of Imhoteps own design and is built from his Noble Phantasms. Originally objects passed down through generations, it was Imhotep who made them eternal symbols of his patron deity. The Was, the Djed, and the Ankh of Ptah.
NOBLE PHANTASM: //
The Was of Ptah - Domination
Rank:C
Type:Anti-Unit
Target: 1-20
A long staff of wood, forked at the bottom and topped with the head of a set-animal, those who look into the eyes of the carved animals have their minds dominated by the will of Imhotep. The effect can only be used on humans, and the existence of prana circuits interrupts the process, making it useless on magi.
Imhotep can "see" through the eyes of his dominated servants and issue them basic commands mentally (Although he will frequently do it verbally for dramatic effect). However, he sees through the eyes of all his dominated servants simultaneously. So large numbers can be overwhelming and impossible to retrieve reliable data from. His clairvoyance allows him to offset this slightly, with a maximum limit of about twenty in a close environment, fewer if they are spread out.
Imhotep can choose not to see through his minions' eyes, but they can only receive orders from him when making eye contact with Imhotep or the Was, or when he sees through their eyes. As the dominated minions are not particularly bright and will no doubt cause confusion if left on their own, Imhotep prefers to maintain a limit of twenty so that he may alter their orders and prevent catastrophic misinterpretations remotely without having to individually track them down.
Due to the ancient nature of the magic employed by the Was, only Caster class servants can identify Imhotep's minions as mind-controlled (as well as those who figure it out because the minions are rather dumb).
The Djed of Ptah - Stability
Rank:B
Type: Fortress
Target:10m radius
Making up the body of the staff, wrapped around the was is a thick layer of woven gold, inlaid with precious metals with the appearance of a pillar.
When activated, it creates a cylindrical shield ten meters in radius and thirty meters high, taking the appearance of a ring of pillars made from golden light. The shield lasts 15 minutes without causing strain on Imhotep, which weakens the shields defenses by 1 rank every five additional minutes. (i.e. Every five minutes after 15, attacks 1 rank lower can damage the fortress.)
The shield can only be damaged by attacks, physical or magical, that are of C-rank or greater; anything below that rank would be akin to a normal human punching a stone wall. Even attacks above C-rank still have little effect, and a great deal of damage to one spot is required to compromise the shield.
Regarding Phantasmal attacks, anything above a C-rank Noble Phantasm can compromise the shield, if not destroying it completely, while those of C-rank or below still do a great amount of damage.
However, this is not an absolute; an attack that spreads damage out over a great deal of space would be moderately less effective than one which focused all of its power on a single point. So Noble Phantasms should be taken more on a case-by-case basis, with the limit being more of a guideline.
(Anti-Fortress spells get a 1-rank upgrade against it.)
The Ankh of Ptah - Life
Rank:A+
Type:
Target:-
Fitted above the Djed, the Ankh is constructed from the finest gold and lapis lazuli. The ankh gives Imhotep the greatest gift of Ptah, the ability to give life to lifeless earth. Imhotep is able to create two golems, approximately five meters tall, from earth minerals in the nearby area. The golems are infused with divine power, making them extremely powerful.
They are bound to Imhotep's prana and he can choose to unmake them at will, although he can comfortably maintain them for up to 15 minutes.
