"Wh.. what the hell?!? Just because I don't say anything isn't an excuse to accuse me of killing!! You two should be ashamed of yourselves! Especially you, Bedwyr! By your logic, the quitest one here is Sigurd!"
He turned to Bedwyr angrily.
"And you, sir, just made me think you're a Mafia member yourself! You being the fastest one here can be a very good skill for making a quick getaway! With that reason, I accuse you of working for the Mafia!"
A pause, before turning to Adam.
"And you! Admit that you purposely want me dead! You just want these people to kill me because you've always been annoyed by my culture, havent you?"
Woah, the racist card! I did not see that one coming...
...No, really I didn't. I have no idea where you got that from. Come on man! I've heard you are an excellent public speaker, make sure you can do it when it counts, man! This is the opportunity of a lifetime to have your voice heard, don't waste it! Say it all loud and proud!

Attacking those directly who accuse you... not a very excellent choice of defenses. I know I am not this 'mafia' because I would only kill for the law. This... what they are doing is unlawful, injust.
However in return you have attacked me directly, rather than providing an alibi. I must say that is a good show. Although I take no offense, just as when Boudica called my name out. I believe justice will be done in the end, and so have no fear of simple suggestions. If you are not guilty, neither should you.
Also: Accusing a member of this council of racism is an excellent attempt at deflection but pointless. There is no need to hurl names here, and I would prefer reasonable completely like all the other choices so far discussion.
Remember, heated arguments can lead to mistakes and lynching of innocents. And that is not what we want. So please, at least attempt to be civil.

"FINE!"
Standing up, he walked over to a point where everyone could see him.
"People of Lucca! I believe that this man here, Bedwyr, is working for the Mafia! He has gathered you all here to see who he and his accomplice will kill off next! Why am I so convinced now that Bedwyr is a killer? Simple! His claim to be the fastest man here is direct proof he can get away from the scene of a crime very quickly!"
He began to pace up and down.
"Take Alex's death. Bedwyr would have been the perfect suspect because he could simply push her and run in a heartbeat, letting gravity take care of the rest! He is also most likely the one who organised Xenophon's death by setting up the device that blew him up and leaving the scene just like that! Without a trace!"
The Gakuran-clad student stopped pacing and faced the crowd.
"And now he's saying he kills for the law! Yet, he is in no position to be doing such things! He is putting on a civil face to hide his trail of wrongdoings and make you all believe he is too lawful to work for the Mafia! People! He is accusing me, someone who would sleep rather than walk the streets at night, of murder! Every night I train before I go to bed, I never go to Pizza Hut nor do I have a reason to go to the top of tall buildings! I plead to you all, don't make the mistake of lynching an innocent student! If you think of the statistics and the most likely suspect, then please serve REAL JUSTICE to Mr. Bedwyr here, before it's too late...."

Hmhm... never knew that statue guy, so I don't particularly care... wait, what did that boy just say? Did he just name me?
Sigurd, still munching on a piece of toast raised his eyebrows, glancing at Tetsuro. Though the student probably meant nothing by it, he still mentioned his own name. Sighing, Servant Saber rested an arm on the sofa, loosely pointing it at Tetsuro. "My money's on you, boy. You're too defensive."
Also named me. Which is annoying. But they don't need to know that.

Hmmm...this is an interesting case. Two deaths and no real proof beyond finger-pointing and hearsay.
Well now, as much as I dislike the kid, I'm going to have to side with him. You Bedwyr! You've been flip-flopping on your suspects this whole time! This is not because of convincing arguments or proof! It's because you're willing to side with anyone not accusing you. I accused Archer on the reasoning that hatted people are more suspicious and you still backed me up! I think you've got something to hide beneath that cloak of yours! *insert innuendo here*
As for the rest of you, well, to be perfectly honest I don't trust a single one of you; but right now it's the Rider at the forefront of my suspicion!

Just wondering, why would I agree with someone who accused me? I know I am not a murderer.
Concerning the matter of the one who appears to have escaped, I recieved reports that his face claim he had been in the mafia before. So why not be suspicious of such a man? Not to mention he did not speak up in the discussion here, but instead fled the country.
I now side against Tetsuro because of the simple fact that a Servant has been killed. And easily. It had to be someone they did not expect, which would clearly not be another Servant, nor a Master. It had to be Tetsuro.
Although you are completely welcome to accuse me. I will not attack you, instead I fight with logic, like any man of reason should.
Also, its not a cloak, get it right. Its a Surcoat, the emblem of noble knights. A cloak has a hood.

Posting for Assie because his Failware sucks a thousand dicks. Here's the rest of his post, quoted word for word.
Houyi quietly pushed her index fingers together. She didn't want to be a part of this. She didn't want to determine who died and who lived; not on guesses and gut feelings. They were twisting words around, calling people names...honestly, such children. What? Houyi Wasn't able to call them children? Of course she could. She was the oldest person here. Many people seem to forget her age for some reason. Houyi can't imagine why they would. Regardless, this was getting out of hand. She needed to do something!
"......" Anytime now"......Um....."She managed to squeak out. "..Can we please stop fighting and work together?" Poor Houyi, who had managed to sort of maybe straighten out herself on her chair once more began her descent into the depths of the undertable. Her cheeks were on fire from all the looks sent her way. Really, she wasn't someone who had a way of words. She was a woman of action, not talking. And that was only when someone wasn't looking.
Why couldn't this be dragon slaying? That was cake walk compared to this.
Even worse, the poor girl had yet to vote. They were staring at her. Waiting, patiently, for her to make a choice. A choice that could end the life of either a human or a rider. She didn't want to. No one deserved to die like this then again no one deserved to die via explosions or building shoving either. Houyi, unable to make the concious choice herself, left it in the hands of fate and picked at random fromo underneath the table. She had picked tetsuro, poor boy.
Post by Boudica Iceni on Feb 17, 2011 11:13:40 GMT -5
Boudica took some time to answer, sitting it out and listening to the opinions of the various people seated in the room. Her heart continued to tell her to blame Bedwyr as he was the one who accused her of the first crime, but she wondered if this was not a mistake. By now, her anger had mellowed out a bit and she could think more clearly with her mind. That is not to say she wasn't still upset, but now she had more of an opportunity to think things through.
...Still, no matter how she looked at it, there was no person who was more or less likely to be the culprit. A Servant dying from an explosion? There were simply too many causes, too much information that she didn't know at all. It was pointless to think with so much lack of knowledge. Who was that Lancer anyway? And what in the world is a Pizza Hut?
Eventually, Boudica sighed, resigned. She was hard pressed to answer, and there was no better choice for her. "Bedwyr. You are definitely the culprit." She said decisively, remaining seated with her arms folded. "The lies you spout are truly horrendous. You deserve nothing less than the death penalty!!"

Well, we're in a weird situation aren't we? Now, let me think, who among us would have the skills to blow a Servant to bits and quick enough to get away undetected?
In light of all this, I'll cast my vote for Bedwyr. His skills and abilities fits what we know about the killer.
Plus, who else has a tendency to destroy large chunks of buildings? ... ... ...

Alright then, since nobody wants to break the tie, Bedwyr and Tetsuro are lynched. Although building a bonfire was rather impractical, I must say it really did end up being quite a show. Now, I have good news and bad news. The good news is, Bedwyr is, or was, part of the duo of killers. The bad news is that Tetsuro really was just a student.
Do you feel bad about yourselves yet?
Anyway, apologies for the late update, and you have another 48 hours to decide who you want to kill, Mafia. *3*
Post by Blake Mcdermott on Feb 20, 2011 0:17:26 GMT -5
Unfortunately, while you guys were enjoying the bonfire, Boudica Iceni enjoyed her untimely demise at the hands of the remaining Mafia. I don't know the details, but it was done quietly in a dark alley.
I have no idea what she was going there, but probably something foolish. As unlikely as it may be, Boudica's the fool for this round.
You have fourty-eight hours to discuss your impending demiiiise~
Post by Sigurd Fafnesbane on Feb 20, 2011 13:53:28 GMT -5
Sigurd yawned, apparently unperturbed the recent turn of events. Why not? He was Sigurd Fafnesbane, not some statue or mere mortal. He had nothing to fear. He boredly swung a finger in the air, letting it rest on Adam Wells.
Huh, Sigurd, i'm surprised. You have clearly been paying some attention. Logic does indeed dictate that I am the other Mafia member! Acting like the fool before, and now that the fool is dead, it is certainly incredibly suspicious Not to mention despite the opportunity to change my vote to who turned out to be mafia and let them be the only victim, I held on and caused the death of poor Tetsuro. Aahh, what a tragedy on my part, but such a mistake does make things interesting, a flaw on my part, if you will.
So I must say I... Don't particularly suspect you of being mafia, which is a bit odd considering. Woe is me if i am wrong in believing such a thing, but alas at the moment it is how I feel.
For now, I reserve judgement until I see what others have to say. At most we get two guesses if there is but one mafia left, and only one if there is two. This is getting to the climax people! The revalation will be upon us! I feel no anger if you suspect me, such constant bantering I have done was needed to stir some life into this, but it has come at the cost of making me an obvious candidate. I have already written a will that should be easy enough to find, and am ready to face oblivion, be it now or later.
Hey, you accused me of being able to kill Servants. Seriously, do you know how awesome that would be? Hey, it's more likely then Bedwyr being able to kill them
Besides, being a Villain still makes me a great part of the story. To be blunt, to think of me as nothing is far worse then thinking me a villain, a monster, a fool, or the ultimate source of goodness in the world!
And here you are, Sigurd, surprised that I am so nonchalant about being a villain. Tell me, do you care what others think about the horrors you will commit for your treasure? I find it unlikely. You think I am that different? We are both rather single-minded towards our goals.
Death shall not hinder either of us either shall it? You are dead, and yet hear you are. If I die, it is knowing that it shall create an amazing endgame that shall leave it's mark upon you all! Be it the physical mark of death... or a mental one... or more excitingly, both. It shall be one of the more enjoyable pieces of theatre that I, if not caused, fanned the fires of.
Mafia, civilian... Whatever I be, I have at least changed the events to be more to my liking. With only five people left, soon to be four, odds are this match shall be.. close, as it should be.
Houyi, who was quite content keeping herself hidden under the table, snuck her hand topside once more. She didn't know who she'd point at, really but she couldn't bare to see. Houyi didn't even want to be here, and now they were forcing her to choose....
Her finger pointed at Adam, who had the unfortunate luck of being chosen once more.
[] Another vote for adam, stated like this since Creeper had trouble figuring out before. V: []

*lights cigarette* Anyone mind if I smoke in here?
Anywho, I think we're overlooking something important. Our hooded Archer has hardly said a word. At first I thought it might just be shyness but now I have to rethink things. How easy would it be for an archer to murder these people without them ever seeing it coming?
As little as I trust any of you, my suspicions focus themselves primarily on Houyi.
Post by Blake Mcdermott on Feb 28, 2011 5:34:55 GMT -5
You know, I never knew Lucca had a cliff handy before Houyi and Sigurd pushed Adam off one. Poor guy. As entertaining as it was to watch you flail blindly in the darkness for targets, I must say that you're very good at getting the wrong guy. In this case, Adam was a civilian, as suspicious as he might've seemed.
Mafia, you have forty-eight hours to send me your next target~

Apologies for yet another late response, but, after some encouragement, I am proud tosullenlyhappily presenting revealing our latest victim is, drumroll please, Yang Huang Long! Come on. Hands up anyone who didn't see another murder coming.
...
I thought so. Stunning revelation there, 'eh? Well, last week's night's victim was found head-first in a dumpster, choking on dumpster-stuff .The neon-green goop was a little bit worrying, though.
And with this, you folks are now down to four THREE! from your original eleven. Pick who you want to lynch wisely, because this is your last chance~

*glances around the silent room* Alright, clearly we need to think this one through again. We've killed a number of innocent people, and what do we have to show for it? Almost nothing. I feel we need to re-evaluate the surviving members of this unfortunate little episode, before it's determined who we lynch. So we don't wind up killing someone else who didn't deserve it. After reviewing the facts, I stay by my decision that Houyi the archer has the guiltiest conscious among us! Let us end this charade!
