An insignificant, two-generation bloodline with not even the slightest hint of a name to itself, Konstantinov was nowhere near the Association's radar. The thaumaturgical knowledge acquired in the first generation was lost when the first family head was killed in a war before he could pass on his Crest.
Aleksei Konstantinov, aside from being a magus, was a soldier in the (first Soviet) Russian armed forces. In 1993, he became a proud father of one. Six years later, in the Second Chechen War, he was killed in action, leaving his daughter Evgeniya bereaved and alone (he had divorced his wife and raised their child soon after her birth) in the world. Having nobody to turn to, she lived on the streets - not the best place to dwell in early post-Soviet Russia.
The hazards were everywhere, especially in the seedy streets of Moskva, where the recent economic disaster in the wake of the fall of the Soviet Union had created fertile ground for criminal expansion. Fortunately for the young Evgeniya, she had not been homeless for a year when she was taken in by a kindly businessman, Vasily Cherstvennikov. He also happened to be a big time crime lord, head of the Cherstvennikov Bratva, a fast-rising Russian Mafia organization, but that wasn't really relevant to the story.
She grew up alongside Vasily's son, Sergei, who considered her somewhat of a little sister. Evgeniya did not reciprocate these feelings. No matter how kind they were, no matter how much gratitude she had, she could never accept herself as part of any 'family' other than Konstantinov. Evgeniya soon discovered the nature of Vasily's business, but that did not really disturb her as it would most people.
As a crime boss who also happened to be a magus, Vasily's business interests were sifted into two categories: dealings with ordinary partners, and dealings with magi. Having discovered Evgeniya's latent magic circuits, Vasily decided to involve her in the latter. The rest of Evgeniya's childhood was spent learning Magecraft (particularly Formalcraft), in preparation for her integration into the 'family business' later on.
At the age of 17, Evgeniya was sent to volunteer for the Russian Ground Forces, in order to give her some useful skills. Not long afterward, her unit was deployed to South Ossetia when the tensions between them and neighboring country Georgia escalated into a Second Russia-Georgia War. On the recommendation of her superior in light of her performance, she was sent for training to join Spetsnaz GRU.
It was as part of this elite force that Evgeniya spent the rest of her military career, until 2021, when she retired from active duty to take part in Vasily's criminal activities. It should be noted that given the state of the Russian military, Spetsnaz GRU operatives moonlighting as hitmen for the Mafiya was not that out of the ordinary. During this time, she put her experience in the military and knowledge of Magecraft up against a different kind of enemy - marks - most of whom were magi who either served as competition to Vasily's business, or were simply inconveniences to it.
Most of these hits were done in coordination with Sergei, who was by then Vasily's right-hand man. What was once a one-sided sibling relationship was replaced by a somewhat tense rivalry, leading Sergei to pulll a few strings. The result of these machinations became clear two years later, when Evgeniya's services were purchased by Don Osvaldo Mezzanotte, the family head of an Italian Mafia clan with close ties to Vasily's organization.
Her new job? Serve as the Don's retainer and caretaker of his children. It was not something she protested, but it was certainly not something she was familiar with. Evgeniya had to learn some new skills from the more senior maids of the Mezzanotte estate, but her experience was sufficient that she was quick to adapt to the new environment. This was not saying that she was not given tasks from her old job. She was used as a killing tool just as often as she was used as a house cleaner.
Evgeniya presently serves as Don Luciano's personal assassin, as well as his sister Enrica's guardian and bodyguard. She also happens to be a senior maid in the Mezzanotte household. Tall, soft-spoken, and imposing, Enya is deathly loyal to whoever employs her, even if it means going up against former employers. That said, it would also be faulty to say that she has no feeling, as she has grown some attachment to her present ward, the Don's younger sister. She also has one hell of a sweet tooth.

Spetsnaz Veteran
A former operative of Spetsnaz GRU having seen action in Georgia, Estonia, Chechnya, North Caucausus, Tajikistan, and others over the course of eleven years, Evgeniya has already made much use of her training and experience outside the realm of unconventional warfare when she joined the Cherstvennikov Bratva in 2021.
She is an expert in a variety of Russian-made firearms and weapons, as well as assassination, reconnaissance, subterfuge, armed and unarmed close combat, and wilderness survival, with a bit of electronic warfare on the side.
Magus Killer
Evgeniya mainly uses her knowledge of Magecraft as a weapon against Magi. With the exception of a few things that technology has yet to practically achieve, she does not use spells per se, but rather, the information about a Magus' way of life, beliefs, weaknesses, and hubris, against them. A garden variety Magus believes that the only threat to him in this whole world, aside from God, is another Magus. Hence, most methods and spells are used to counter other methods and spells - not technological weapons, such as guns, bombs, missiles, and robots, which Magi in general consider below them.
It also helps that this blind spot means that more often than not, these weapons will be taken lightly. Not to mention the fact that said weapons don't leak prana when used. A handy default advantage. Nevertheless, Evgeniya has encountered average Magi as well as the exceptions to the norm, who do take these threats seriously to a degree. In such a case, she has to simply outsmart them and use her superior assassination capabilities.
For all it's worth, she is capable of using the generic fireball and controlling a familiar, along with some Formalcraft, thanks to her weak lineage.
Meido
Not so much a true expertise as it is a skill that she has learned over her time spent working for the Mezzanotte household. Enya is good at washing the dishes, cleaning the house, cooking, etc. Basically, if a maid can be expected to do it, then she can do it too.
Arsenal
Superior firepower is the key here. Which is why she packs a nice selection of firearms all the time. Of note is that between her job as Enrica's bodyguard by day and Luciano's magus killer by night, Evgeniya as the former, is armed with a GSh-18 Handgun. VSSK

A silenced sniper rifle that fires a subsonic .50 caliber round at up to 600 meters, the VSSK was designed to be quiet, but devastating. Both are equipped with infrared scopes and NV scopes to operate better in the dark, and to sniff out active magic circuits.

Submachine gun used by the Spetsnaz GRU, the PP-2000 was designed by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau. Holds a spare 44-round magazine stored in the stock in addition to the magazine already employed.
