MY HISTORY://Xenophon was a soldier of Athens from a young age. While his calm demeanor developed quickly, he was often prone to rash decisions as a young man. When Cyril the Younger of Persia requested mercenaries from Greece to help in a war, many men, including Xenophon, were eager to join his cause.
Cyril had not been fully truthful in his explanation of their quest. Despite telling his mercenaries that they were going to fight the Pisidians, he turned his armies to clash against those of his older brother, King Artaxerxes II. While at first many of the Greeks refused to fight in a battle against the overwhelming forces of the Persian king, they were eventually convinced by their generals to fulfill their contract.
In the Battle of Cunaxa, the Greeks were instrumental in securing a tactical victory for Cyril. However, in that battle, Cyril was struck down, rendering the battle useless. Without any allies or means of support, the Greeks eagerly accepted Artaxerxes' request for a cease fire.
When the leaders of the mercenary company went to discuss terms of surrender, Artaxerxes had them all killed. His troops quickly moved in to slaughter the rest of the company, and would have succeeded if not for some quick thinking on the part of the Greeks. They elected a few leaders, including Xenophon, who mobilized the group and marched out of the killing zone.
The march back to Greece was no easy journey for the troops; they were attacked constantly by natives and were also forced to fight for what meager supplies they could take. The very environment fought against the men, dry heat leeching the water from their bodies and making the heavy armor they wore unbearable.
Still, the Greeks did manage to make it to the Black Sea, where they were quickly hired to help another man make himself King of Thrace. This proved to be easy for the experienced warriors, and they sailed away in friendship mere weeks after entering the area.
Xenophon returned to Greece to find that his life as a soldier was not over: in between his composing of many books on his personal history and several treatise on military affairs, he was constantly being drawn back into battles both for his native Athens and for Sparta, who's political system made much more sense to him. MY GOALS://Xenophon wants to write a full treatise on warfare and battles, converting his expansive knowledge to a form usable by anyone. If he wins the grail, his wish will be for all the military knowledge in the world, so that his work will be truly complete.[/color]

Xenophon's entire existence hinges on a single decision he made. The decision to move forward. The decision to face adversity and move past it.
When activated, this Noble Phantasm unlocks Xenophon's incredible determination. While the effect only lasts a few minutes, five at the most, for that time nothing can hold back Xenophon. No matter the defenses he is facing or the number of units holding him back, Xenophon can move forward as if there was nothing between him and his goal. He can still be slain while in this form, but not hindered or affected by any status: any impassable terrain will be solid road underneath his feet and anyone in his way will be thrown aside, often to painful results.

Greeks are taught to fight in well armed and well disciplined groups. Xenophon is no exception to this; he is always at his strongest in the middle of an army. By having this Noble Phantasm active, Xenophon can call upon the souls of his lost allies to aid him in his fight.
Shield Wall allows Xenophon to prioritize defense, creating an ethereal phalanx around him that can block most attacks. This Phantasm will only stop one hit, whether it is a normal strike or another Phantasm, before dissipating.
Xenophon can use this ability three times in a battle before needing to recharge.

This version of Strength in Numbers uses Xenophon's Phantasm as an attack.When activated, a phalanx of Hoplites appear behind him and hurl their spears at a designated target. While there are only about a hundred spears, each ranking an E, are thrown, the sheer number and accuracy of each throw makes this attack difficult to dodge or block. Additionally, Xenophon can move while his men are throwing their spears, allowing him to use it as covering fire.
