STRENGTHS: // Very intelligent and cunning. Knows how to read his opponents, and how to use their powers against themselves. Unlike most Casters, he knows how to handle a sword pretty decently, not on the level of a Saber, but still. Aside from that, he will surprise you with all the things he can forge for you. There is no opponent that cannot be defeated if prepared enough.
WEAKNESSES: // He's dead slow. It's a wonder he can move at such speed, since he was crippled in life. Guess it's one of the benefits of being a Servant. But still, compared to others, he's slow. He's also not the kind of guy who wins the first round, but rather loses or retreats in the first, then comes prepared to win for the second and third. And this preparation, of course, takes time.

Mimmung
One of the legendary swords forged by Wayland the Smith. Out of all his creations, this sword is the one that represents him as a hero.
Jewels
Similar to the Jewels used by the Tohsaka and the Edelfelt. Can store Magical Energy within them, for later use. When the stored energy is released, it does in the form of an A-rank spell. If used to its full potential, the jewel breaks. Wayland the Smith enters the war with forty jewels (fully charged) of the finest quality. However, it is possible to create more with Item Construction. These Jewels fall under the E-rank Noble Phantasm category in 'God of the Forge'. Filling an empty jewel takes two extra hours, though.
NOBLE PHANTASM: //
Mimmung - Sword of the Magical Blacksmith
Rank: B
Type: Anti-Unit/Passive effect.
Range: 1-2
Max Targets: 2.
Story: The sword of Wayland. According to legend, this sword cut through Wayland rival blacksmith's armor with little to no effort. The cut was so clean, that the man did not realize he had been killed until his body split in two and fell to the ground.
Effect: Any physical object that is not on the level of a D-rank Noble Phantasm won't be able to endure a blow from this sword and will break. Higher ranked Noble Phantasms will take damage depending on its rank: D-rank Noble Phantasms will be able to stand up to seven blows, at most. C-rank Noble Phantasms will take severe damage, and will be able to stand ten to fifteen blows. B-rank Noble Phantasms will take moderate damage, and will be able to stand twenty five to thirty blows. Finally, A-rank Noble Phantasms will take minor damage, and will eventually break after sixty blows. Unless the object is repaired, these 'blows' stack for later battles. Needless to say, weapons that are indestructible or holy are completely immune to this effect.
*Note that Heroic Spirits can repair their Noble Phantasms. It's not like they will remain broken for the rest of the war. In my opinion, I think it'd take them 12hs to repair a Noble Phantasm. Or you could call a blacksmith for a faster service.
Vulture - Wings of Sure Escape
Rank: B+
Type:
Range: -
Max Targets: Self.
Story: After Killing the King's sons and fathering a child with the King's daughter, Wayland escaped using an artifact forged out of feathers. Then, he presented himself before the King, and, after forcing him to make a promise, he confessed each and every step of his revenge against him. The King, mad in rage, ordered one of his men, who turned out to be one of Wayland's brothers, to shoot him down. He took out two arrows. With his first arrow, he pierced a sack of blood that Wayland had concealed, and both of them believed the smith to be dead. When the King asked Wayland's brother why had had taken out two arrows, the man answered: "to shoot thee, tyrant, with the second if the first one harmed my brother."
Effect: Summons Wayland's Vulture Wings. This artifact allows Wayland to fly at the average speed of 120 KPH. If this Noble Phantasm is used for escape purposes, Wayland gains the Disengage personal skill of A-rank.
God of the Forge - Countless Swords Forged for Heroes.
Rank: E~A+++
Type: Support.
Range: 1-40
Max Targets: Self.
Story: Many heroes became famous because of the weapons Wayland forged. Even when Wayland did not have the proper materials to forge an object or a weapon, his work was always of the finest quality. This Noble Phantasm represents that miracle.
Effect: This Noble Phantasm may only be used inside Wayland's workshop. This Noble Phantasm allows Wayland to forge a weapon or an object as if he had everything he needed to do so. With this, his Item Construction Class Ability becomes EX, and he can even reproduce, with given time, the Noble Phantasms he has forged for other heroes during his life. Note that he can't activate the abilities of these Noble Phantasms. Only Passive abilities may be used by him. For example, Durandal miracles cannot be activated by Wayland, but the sword is still indestructible and blessed.
The time and cost of this Noble Phantasm varies, depending on what wants to be forged:
•A-rank Noble Phantasms will take five hours. Cost is that of a B-rank Noble Phantasm.
•B-rank Noble Phantasms will take four hours. Cost is that of a C-rank Noble Phantasm.
•C-rank Noble Phantasms will take three hours. Cost is that of a D-rank Noble Phantasm.
•D-rank Noble Phantasms will take two hours. Cost is that of a E-rank Noble Phantasm.
•E-rank Noble Phantasms will take one hour. Cost is minimal.
Note that Wayland cannot create new Noble Phantasms, he can only forge those he did in life. Esthetical alteration might be possible. This means it's possible to create something like Caladabolg II out of an existing Noble Phantasm.
Here is a list of the Noble Phantasms that can be forged during this war, and their passive effects:
•Caliburn: The END stat of the opposing Servant is counted as if it were one rank less.
•Balmung: Possesses the Dragon Slayer Attribute. A-rank Noble Phantasm.
•Durandal: Indestructible. The sword is said to contain within its golden hilt one tooth of Saint Peter, blood of Saint Basil, hair of Saint Denis, and a piece of the raiment of the Blessed Virgin Mary. A-rank Noble Phantasm.
•Limme: A helmet... It does NOTHING. But it's still a D-rank Noble Phantasm.
•Armor of BEOWULF: A bad ass heavy armor. Only A-rank attacks are able to pierce it. Note that a blow from a C-rank Noble Phantasm equals to an A-rank attack. C-rank Noble Phantasm.
*Some of this effects were taken from existing Player Profiles.
CLASS ABILITIES: //
Territory Creation
B: Creation of a "Workshop" becomes possible.
Item Construction
EX: Capable of making extraordinary magical items on the level of Noble Phantasms. This rank is obtained through the use of one of Caster's Noble Phantasms.
A: Capable of making healing potions, among other magical items.
SKILLS: //
Disengage
A: At this rank, the Servant can retreat from battle regardless of enemy numbers. As long as there is prana to keep the Servant intact, he can retreat from battle and heal himself. Also, with this ability, the battle is returned to the first turn, as it were.
Caster gains this skill when using one of his Noble Phantasms, Vulture.
Divinity
C: In some versions of the myth, he is considered the son of a giant-god. Even today, he is considered as the God of the Smiths by many, while there is no clear evidence of how divine he actually is.
Eye for Art
B: If he happens to see a Noble Phantasm with artistic anecdotes, he will most likely figure it's true name, and will get a rough idea of the extent of its power. If the weapon happens to be one forged by Caster himself, he will recognize it instantly, along with its extent of power and abilities.
Eye of the Mind (True)
B: Capable of calm analysis of battle conditions even when in danger and deduce an appropriate course of action after considering all possibilities to escape from a predicament. So long there is even a 1% chance of a comeback, this ability greatly improves the chances of winning.
Magecraft
B: Capable of using Special Thaumaturgy, known by a selected few.
