Err, so I got this idea from Urther the first time I heard him HAILING BRITANNIA and I just felt the natural urge to act on it. Don't worry about the Master thing, I got Seikou to agree to a partnership. Everything's all good.

Merlin is a master of spells, there's no two ways about it. He's a man that has dedicated his entire life to the study and advancement of magecraft. Thanks to his years of experience and hard work, Merlin is easily able to analyze the magecraft used by the magus's of this era. Though this only covers the basics of the magecraft, with further analysis requiring study and research. Something Merlin is perfeclty fine with doing.
He treats the analysis like a hobby.

Women. Merlins one true weakness. It's what lead to his death in his former life, after all. This weakness, however, has been dampened by experiencing his death at the hands of the woman he "loved". He can still be distracted by a female body, oh yes but not to the extent of losing focus of the big picture.
Also, he's a squishy wizard.Don't remind him of this fact.

www.timelessmyths.com/arthurian/merlin.html
MY HISTORY: //
Merlin is a man of many myths and tales scattered throughout time. He's a prominent figure in Welsh literature and the Arthurian legend, as well as the leading man of several various, un-connected stories. Sometimes he was a teacher and adviser, sometimes he was a mad man frolicking through the woods, and once he was even married.Like that would ever happen. So it's really hard to tell exactly what myth is and what reality is. So Merlin will clarify for us.
He was born at an unspecified time, so it had to have been before Urther had taken throne. He had been sired from an incubus via the nun it had raped. His mother’s name was Myrrdin. When Myrrdin had awoke the next day she had discovered that her virginity was gone. This confused her since the doors and windows were locked. She took her troubles to Blaise, a priest that had been trying to help the family for years in their struggle against the incubus that had been haunting them. He didn't believe her, especially with her older sister having turned into a whore, but offered his help none the less and told her to send for him should she receive trouble for her adultery.
Which Myrrdin did, as she soon discovered she was pregnant. Being unable to hide this fact, people eventually discovered what had happened. She feared for her life naturally, having seen her oldest sister being buried alive for the adultery. When the judge arrived to town, he had discovered her pregnancy and dismissed her pleas as excuses. She was imprisoned for adultery and would no doubt be executed. Scared of her fate, she called for the Blaise to try and persuade the judge. It was futile, the most Blaise was able to do was spare Myrrdin until she gave birth to the boy and he was able to eat without her help.
Two other women were imprisoned with Myrrdin, to help her through the birth and attend to the babe. Blaise had told her before he departed to have the new born child baptized after giving birth. Months had passed and the birth date had come. When babe was brought into the world, the woman who had been handling him nearly dropped the boy. He was born completely covered in hair, like a wild animal. She immediately remembered what Blaise had told her and had the boy properly baptized. Myrrdin had named the boy after her father, Merlin. Because the boy seemed to be just as unlucky as him.
The devil that had sired Merlin had actually planned for this to happen, hoping that he would become the Anti-Christ for told in lore. His schemes went down the drain when the boy was baptized and his connection with his demon heritage washed away. He was freed from becoming a demon and had instead become a man.
Upon the eighteenth month of raising Merlin in her cell, the two woman who had been with her decided that he was capable of living without Myrrdin. Of course, this meant that her time was up and that she would be put on the chopping block. She pleaded for them to stay, but they wouldn't listen and left the cell to inform the people.
As they left, Merlin looked to his mother and said "I will save you."
And this scared the ever loving crap out of the woman. She had even dropped him in shock, the boy falling to the stone floor. The noise had brought the women back and Myrrdin told them that Merlin could speak. Naturally, the women thought that she was going insane. They spent the rest of the evening trying to get him to talk, but he would not speak. This made the women all the more convinced that it was time to hang Myrrdin.
When the day of the trial had come, Myrrdin had been placed before the judges to receive her punishment. She continued to plead her innocence while clinging to her child, but the judges would not listen. So Merlin spoke in her stead, something that shocked the judges due to his young age. He challenged the chief judge, stating that he knew more about the judges own father then the man did. The judge agreed on the condition that, should Merlin fail, he would be hanged with his mother.
So it was revealed, with confirmation with the Judges mother that she had been sleeping with a priest. And that this priest had been the judge’s real father, not the man married to her. With that confirmed, the judge let Myrrdin go as he could not judge her for something his own mother did. In private, Merlin had told the judge of what would take place in the near future, that his mother would tell the priest and he would drown himself. It happened just as Merlin said it would. The judge named Merlin wise for his abilities at foresight.
After it was over, Merlin left with his mother and Blaise as they'd hoped to get a fresh start. Blaise was cautious of the boy, but Merlin assured Blaise that his connections with the demon had been cut with his baptism. He was a man in service of god, not a monster. He kept his ability to see into the past that he had gained from his demon heritage (as well as a few personality 'quirks'). Eventually, Blaise had become one of Merlin's most trusted friends and it was even Blaise who chronicled Merlin's journeys. He had become the boy prophet and toured the world to put his abilities to use.
It's hard to really get a grasp on what had happened over the years. He had become the advisory to multiple kings over the course of time, and predicted the rise as well as fall of nations. He was a boy renowned for his abilities at clairvoyance and sorcery. As many of these tales are minor stories of, say, Merlin saving a girls kitten to have sex with the mother or maybe he swam across a lake to avoid tax collectors, they will not be covered here.
In fact, many of Arthurian lore could be cut into bits and pieces. At some point in his life he had met Urther Pendragon, who he immediately took a liking too. And he had been the driving force behind most of Urther's antics as well. The comet in the sky? That was Merlin more or less messing with Urther. Incidentally, Urther had taken it seriously.. He also moved on to help Urther take the form of Gorlois to sleep with his wife and sealed the sword in the stone.
After Urther's death, Merlin had taken the infant Arturia and given her to a man known as Sir Ector, who had raised her during her early childhood. (Merlin had disappeared around this time, probably to go build Stone Henge). He returned years later to inform the barons of Logres that only the one capable of pulling the sword from the stone would be fit to rule as king. Merlin was quick to take stand at Arturia's side when she pulled the sword from the stone.
He then worked as her adviser and teacher, educating her on various things she needed to know as king. Whenever she rode into battle, Merlin would be at her side because it was generally safer to be there. The girl had a knack for saving his bacon. It was Merlin that brought Arturia to the lady of the lake, who had presented her with Excaliber after she had shattered Caliburn by acting un-chivalrously.
Of course, all men have weaknesses and the greatest one for Merlin was women. One particular woman, in fact, led to his down fall. She was known as the lady of the lake. She had been a woman that he, or what he believed himself to be, in love with. She didn't really see him in that light, instead promising to he his lover in exchange for being taught his secrets. So he did, he taught her everything he knew or could think of, if only to spend more time with her. He even built her a home at Lake of Diana and used his power to hide it from mortal eyes. And in the end when she had learned everything she could, she drew him into the forest of Broceliande. She then used the very magic Merlin had taught her to seal him within a rock, killing the man. and ending his reign as the most power wizard of his era.
[ After it took me like 10 paragraphs to just write how Merlin was brought into the world, I decided to speed things up at the Arthurian legends as to not have like 20 something paragraphs in total. ]
MY GOALS:// To have Fun~~.Merlins actual wish is for Arthuria to get the chance to meet her father. Not that you'll ever get him to admit it.

Merlin, being an individual skilled in magical crafting, has an assortment of magical items and trikets to rely on.
Myrrdin Cape.
Rank C Item
A cape designed by Merlin and named after his mother, it's said that the very first cape Merlin created was made from a blanket that his mother had nitted him. If asked why he wears his cape everywhere, he'll usually answer with "It reminds me of a mothers warmth."In short, it's his security blanket. All of his Capes are referred to as The Cape or Myrrdin's Cape, as all of the blankets save the original are designed to be exactly the same.
For the Cape's magical abilities, it's a tool that allows him to connect into and use items/weapons/matierals he has stored within his workshop for a bit of prana per item (the cost is so small that Merlin hardly notices it unless he pulls out items in mass). Of course, this goes both ways and Merlin is able to send items through the cape should he choose too. Note that Merlin has to physically pull the item out, it can not be "shot" or "expelled" from the cape. Nor do items "fall out" of it. The only limit in space is how much crap he can fit into his worshop. Also, said object has to be able to fit the size of the cape. Meaing he can't send something like, say, a car through it. Because the car is too big to fit. Smaller bikes would be perfectly fine if he pushed it. And Naturally, without a workshop this ability becomes utterly useless.
In should be said that Merlin is incapable of sending living organisim through the cape. It's only able to recieve either dead creatures or inanimite objects. If destroyed, Merlin could simply create a new one in two days max. This is due to the sheer amount of copies Merlins made over his lifetime, that he is able to craft a new one in such short time frame.
Merlins Staff
Rank E Item
For many Casters, a staff can mean everything to them. A boost in power, a reduction of time or cost, etc. But for Merlin? Merlin doesn't particularly need a staff. Not when he's able to cast such powerful magic on his own. The thing itself is a finely crafted wooden staff, curved near the top into what would look like a questions mark. Besides being enchanted to return to Merlins hands whenever he so desires, there is absolutely nothing special about it. No magjcal attacks, no added bonus, nothing. Merlin, being the trickster he is, turned what is considered one of the magus's greatest assits into a decoy.
That's right, his staff is a decoy. Whenever he casts a spell, he usually points his staff in the direction or act as it the thing is important in general. This is nothing more then a ruse, to draw attention away from the actual magical items and provide a "target" for others to focus on. It's so believed that a wand/staff provides a magus with power that many thing Merlin will be at a disadvantage without it. Besides being a decoy, the only real use Merlin has for it is as a walking stick.
He could make a new staff in a few hours, and it only takes that long because Merlin has to enchant the thing to return to his hands.
And whatever else he makes during the war.
NOBLE PHANTASM: //
Dual Casting: One Man, Two Voices.
Rank C
Type: Passive
target: Self.
Many people forget that Merlin is a Bard, something left over from his travels when he cross England in hopes of improving his magic. Merlin learned many simple tricks while working in the entertainment industry. Singing, Dancing, Instrument play, etc. All of it to make a spare bit of money to help him move on to the next city. But one very special skill stood out for Merlin. A minor trick that Merlin realized soon after aquiring it had the ability to become so much more: Ventriliquism.
What was thought to be a simple trick to amuse children has been twisted into a spell multiplier. Specifically, the ability to cast two spells at the same time. Granted, this is only possible because Merlin has access to divine words and thus magic where the words are the power, unlike modern day Magecraft, where the caster is more or less hypnotizing themselves into casting the spell. You can't dual hypnotize a man, after all. Combing his access to Divine words and his mastery over Ventriliquism, Merlin has gained the ability of being able to cast two spells at the same time. There are no additional costs to the casting, Merlin only having to pay the prana from what the spells would have cost naturally.
This Np does not allow Merlin to boost the spells power, to alter them from their original intentions, etc. It merely allows him to cast two at once, which is more then enough in Merlins eyes. Naturally, he cant use this for his NPs. or NP and spell for that matter. It's either two spells or one NP, his choice.
Shrouded in Myth: The Legendary Man of Mystery.
Rank A
Type: Passive
Target: Self
Merlin is a man whose existence is surrounded in myth and lore. No two tales are exactly the same, nor were his skills, his abilities, his magic or even his gender. The sheer amount of legends involving Merlin has made it impossible for anyone to tell what is true and what is false. This part of Merlin is personified in this Noble Phantasm. Passive, as are all rumors/myths, the NP prevents Masters from seeing his information. Here's a listing of what is covered and how one can access this information. Note: There are Servants in the war that have abilities that let them access this information regardless of this ability (in whatever way) so the rules for them may change/not apply if conditions ae met.
His Name. (He can call himself Merlin and most would only get the name/Class. )
His Class. (instantly revealed once Merlin casts a spell/reveals his name in fron of a master.)
His Stats. (These remain hidden regardless of what Merlin does. The only way to get them to be "Officially" listed is for Merlin to have died and the effects of this NP be lifted. Note, Most Masters could probably guess most of his Stats from his class alone. The masters in this war aren't stupid, after all. The only ones the'd have trouble guessing would be AGI and LCK, and even thn AGI is given away once he runs at full speed).
His Skills, both Class and Personal versions. (Naturally, Territory and Item creation are a given when one learns of his caster status. What level they are at is withheld, but once again the people in this war aren't stupid. Magic resistence, however, is kept hidden until Merlin has died. As for his skills, the Master has to see Merlin do them in person for them to be revealed. Otherwie, they are kept hidden)
His Noble Phantasms. (Unless Merlin specfically tells a master how his NPs work, they remain hidden regardless of if Merlin uses them in front of them. Well, what the NP does is hidden, the name is perfectly visible. All except Shourded in Myth, which is partly revealed. if only so Merlin can indirectly troll Masters. Note, master can only see the top paragraph and the listings. [] His name, His Class, His Stats [] when looking at shourded in myth. Once a master learns of his shapeshifting ability, the bottom paragraph becomes visible. They can not see what's written in the paraenthses)
Even if a master were to learn his name, they would only gain his class name. Not even his Class skills would be revealed, as there are so many different types of Merlins throughout these myths that they would have no definite way of knowing his actual power. Even worse, when combined with Shapeshifting, he's able to hide what his physical form is as well. Size, Height, Weight, Hair/Eye color, gender can no long be determined by looking at Merlin. Merlin could, in theory, pass himself off as a magus fighting in the war if he wanted too with few being able to tell otherwise.
And finally, once Merlin is killed the shroud is lifted for all to see. If anything, this is an alert that Merlin has been taken out of the picture and they have one less threat to worry about. This is only if the Master has met him before his death of course.
The Almighty Druid: He who commands Stone henge.
Rank: E-B++ (Costs E rank to activate.)
Type: Activated, Defensive.
Target: Self.
Merlin has and always be a druid. Possibly the greatest druid in history for one simple fact: He. built. Stone henge. During the years that Arthur was living with Sir Ector, Merlin had taken the time to improve his magic by traveling the world. During his travels he had, at some point, built Stone Henge. How he manged this is a mystery in itself, as Merlin did it by himself and refuses to tell others when asked.Probably just to be a dick to them. Regardless,"officially" it's free to be used by all druids. Unofficially he claims it for his own use. And with it's power he makes this NP possible.
Now, Merlin is a squishy. It's something he hates to admit, but he is. Being the man he is, he's worked his weakness with magecraft. Drawing power from Stong Henge, only possible while in possession of the stone ring, Merlin is able to create a skin thin shielding around his body. The Shield itself does more then just stop the attack from harming Merlin, it also reflects the attack back at the opponent for extra cost. The cost to Activate the NP is E rank, and to maintain it he must pay the price of an E rank NP every post. To actually reflect something, one must add the price of the E rank to maintain the shielding with the lower ranking of the attack that hit the shield. Example: Hit with a C rank attack, the cost would be E Rank + D Rank = Total cost needed to repel the attack. This is only possible due to Stone henge providing some of the power needed to create the shield/able to help Merlin downsize the cost. The max power he can repel with the shielding is B++ in rank. Anything else will pierce the shielding.
Note that Merlin can not cast spells while this shielding is activated. He still has access to his other personal skills, just not divine words. Until he drops the shielding, he can not cast other spells. He can, however, drop the shielding and cast spells on the same turn. Dropping the shielding results in Merlin having to wait three turns for him to be able to use this skill again (the time it takes for him to reastablish his link to stone henge). Also, without the Stone Ring, Merlin is effectively unable to use this NP. The cost is just too much for him without the help of Stone henge. So if the ring breaks, the NP becomes worthless.
CLASS ABILITIES: //
Territory Creation
The skill to build a special terrain that increases one's capacities as a magus. Casters Only
A: Creation of a "Temple", which is superior to a "Workshop", becomes possible.
Item Construction
The skill to manufacture magical items. Casters Only
A: Capable of making healing potions that grant limited immortality.
Magic Resistance
Protection against magical effects. Differently from the Resistance effect that merely rejects prana, this ability cancels the spells altogether. Important to note that the term "verse" seen bellow refers to a set of three lines. Thus, a chant of two verses is equivalent to a Six-Line incantation.
D: Cancel Single-Action spells. Magic Resistance of the same degree of an amulet that rejects magical energy.
An inborn ability that originates from Merlin’s incubus heritage, he is able to naturally resist weak magecraft. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to allow Merlin to resist the lady of the lake when she sealed him into the rock.
SKILLS: //
Beast Tongue
Rank A: Allows one to speak the language of beasts as if it were their native tongue.
An inborn ability Merlin aquired from his demon father and something occasionally mentioned in the myths surrounding him, Merlin natrually posses the ability to talk to animals. Mammals, birds, minor mythical creatures, etc. He can't speak to insects or fish. Aquatic animals like dolphins and whales are perfectly fine, for those who consider them "fish". Not like you'd find a bloody whale in lucca, but hey, you never know.
High-Speed Divine Words
The power to activate thaumaturgy without the use of Magic Circuits. The language of the Age of Gods, back when words played a heavy role in spellcasting. As such, it is power long lost by modern magi.
B: High-Thaumaturgy-level Magecraft can be cast at the speed of One-Line spells.
Shapeshift
Refers to both borrowing bodies and appearance change. A method used by the millenary spirits of foxes and badgers of China that are put on par with Tamamo-no-Mae.
A+: It seems like the master's look has been copied exactly.
Stone Ring
A relatively unknown item that has connections to one of the worlds greatest mysteries. This ring was crafted from a piece of rock that Merlin chised from one of the pillars that make up Stone Henge. Yes, that stone henge. Though Merlin designed stone henge for use of any druid, he still claims ownership over it. And as such was able to take a piece of it withouttoo much trouble. This ring allows Merlin to cut the cost for spells to 1/3 of their actual casting price as long as he is wearing the ring. It should be noted that, while the ring is reinforced with magecraft, it is still breakable. If broken, it would take Merlin a week of work to fix the thing before it's useable again.
Rank: B++, allows Merlin to cut the cost of his spells by 2/3, only having to pay 1/3 the actual price to use them.

- Reckless
- Merlin has never really been easy to get along with. He's whimsical, moody, and always provoking others for personal amusement. Even those he knows can tare him in-half he'll have no problem with taunting (only to run away when they try to bash his brains in).The only people he's friends with are those with saint like patience. Or those looking for a really good time.
- Fabulous
- He just has to be the center of attention, save for when he's reading books of lore. He's an attention whore, there's just no other way to describe his tendencies (unless you say 'annoying'). He's talks non-stop, he's dramatic with everything, he's positively fabulous.
- Tsundere
- A rare male version, believe it or not. He's harsh, he's vocal about peoples faults, he cuts people off when there talking, he shows little respect for anyone, and is just a prick to people in general. But for those few loved ones he can be someone that's always eager to help. He can be caring, through his own means, and does not hesitate to stand by a friend. Unless there stupid enough to rush headfirst into the enemy, at which point Merlin will be fleeing in the opposite direction.
- Mentor
- Whether it is because he owes someone a favor, or maybe because he senses impressive potential in a pupil...or maybe because he just enjoys spending time with a (considered) love one, Merlin has taken apprentices before. Step by step, he has walked them through the use of magic and helped them grasp its concepts. The feeling of the magic, the flow of the words, how to fire anti-army magic missiles, etc. He will never give up on a student, no matter how frustrating it maybe to teach them.
- Mad Scientist
- Merlin was just more then a scholar, a wizard, a druid or a court magus; he was a scientist. Spending countless hours working in his workshop, Merlin would craft the strangest of items and brews. A prime example was when he gave Arturia a penis via a special brew he had her drink in her sleep.
Which resulted in him getting thrown in jail for a week. He's a man that's not afraid to experiment with the unknown, or on anyone he can get his mits on.

Merlin is a man of many myths and tales scattered throughout time. He's a prominent figure in Welsh literature and the Arthurian legend, as well as the leading man of several various, un-connected stories. Sometimes he was a teacher and adviser, sometimes he was a mad man frolicking through the woods, and once he was even married.
Whenever she rode into battle, Merlin would be at her side
MY GOALS:// To have Fun~~.
[/blockquote]
Merlin, being an individual skilled in magical crafting, has an assortment of magical items and trikets to rely on.
Myrrdin Cape.
Rank C Item
A cape designed by Merlin and named after his mother, it's said that the very first cape Merlin created was made from a blanket that his mother had nitted him. If asked why he wears his cape everywhere, he'll usually answer with "It reminds me of a mothers warmth."
How he manged this is a mystery in itself, as Merlin did it by himself and refuses to tell others when asked.
And as such was able to take a piece of it without
Rank: B++, allows Merlin to cut the cost of his spells by 2/3, only having to pay 1/3 the actual price to use them.

ENDURANCE: // E
AGILITY: // B+
MANA: // A+
LUCK: // C
NOBLE PHANTASM: //

[] C rank is due to how long Merlin managed to live before he got sealed in a rock. []
[] B+ AGI comes from Merlin being really, really good at running away. His "tactical retreats" are the stuff of legends! []
FACE CLAIM: // Code Geass, Suzaku Kururugi
OTHER CHARACTERS: // Ishikawa Goemon (Assassin)
MISC. INFORMATION: // Please excuse me if I accidently put magic instead of magecraft at some points in the profile. If I did, I mean Magecraft. If I didn't, then everything is cool and please disregard this. :V
