- Likes it Molten
- Lenneth has an unhealthy preference for seeing things melt. To her, it is the greatest proof that something is alive, when it continues to struggle with death even in its final moments. Thus, this would also apply to seeing people in the last moments of their lives, and animals about to get slaughtered. She likes seeing the life in the seconds before death. Much of her motivation in taking up the family head position is due to how she wants to melt things. It's a personal dive into a pseudo-philosophical belief around which her life revolves. Being an Enforcer? It's a job. Progressing the family revival? A nice preoccupation. But for Lenneth, life itself is about seeing life. And that is best found when things are melting.
- Likes it Fast
- A good word of advice for people who meet her, is to never talk about land vehicles. Especially not motorcycles. She will launch into a monologue about the joys and beauties of traversing miles and miles of endless asphalt at speeds exceeding 90mph. Yes, Lenneth likes it fast. Speed limits be damned, as long as she can catch up to that wise guy who's rooftop hopping above her, the law can be forgotten if only for a short while.
- Fauxlosopher
- Lenneth likes talking a lot about nothing when she gets into the mood. Most especially about random existential hubbub and life, which is mostly just an excuse for her to segway into discussions about how she likes watching things melt. Of course one could argue that her personal interpretation of watching things melt and her appreciation for them is what one might consider a personal philosophy. Fortunately, she doesn't do this all the time, because she's also...
- Ms. Deadpan
- No nonsense, but with a dry sense of humour. She doesn't talk all that much, but when she does, Lenneth either talks about things that are melting (see above), or throws wry observations at whatever causes her to talk. Like doing stupid things, and people making stupid rules, etc, etc. Anything under the sun that isn't melting or in a state similar to melting. Not that she does this often, but sometimes, she just can't help it.
- Mostly-lone Wolf
- She prefers working alone, or with a single partner. Two partners, at most. Operating in a larger unit is just not her style. Nevertheless, when she does have company, she bonds close with it, and becomes good friends, even, if allowed. She does not deny the axiom that no human is an island. Friends are always a good thing to have. Just that, when these friends are in the same line of work, it's dangerous, and she would rather be in danger than putting these friends in it.

STRENGTHS: //
When you look at a person like Lenneth Archimedes, the first thing you really take into consideration is her lineage. At 2500 years, the Archimedes bloodline is no joke, even though its Iron Age Crest is only worth a thousand. The Archimedes themselves might scoff at their own 'inferior crest', but a 'mere' thousand years is still a thousand years, no matter how you look at it. She is a skilled Enforcer, a product of the thousand years of the family's shift in specialisation.
Being the scorn of Clock Tower's higher ups, she does not care that she might resort to underhanded tactics at times. The Family's pride is a strange one, where they only care about their success, rather than what the others think of them. This isn't saying, of course, that she won't explode when you insult her blood. Pride is still pride, after all.
WEAKNESSES: //
She is merely the latest in a proven system, having nothing of her own. All of the spells she uses in battle are old. All of the tactics, strategies, and manoeuvres she uses were taught to her by centuries' worth of actions, passed down as a tradition. Her only 'creativity' is found in her research, which is not part of her Enforcer job, but something she does at home. Everything else is a trick in the book, and this leads to a degree of predictability, curbed only by the fact that the book continues to evolve. Nevertheless, some outdated techniques are still there, and it's usually up to her partner to update her on the new methods that weren't taught.
A big head can get in the way, and she holds her family in a very high regard. As such her skin is rather thin whenever it gets insulted. Any insult, so long as it's not about her family, will more likely than not, backfire.
Her attachment to her friends might also get in the way of operations. Not that this has happened much, but if she thinks that a partner is in serious danger, she would prefer ordering them to back out and tackle the issue herself. Fortunately, this action has never jeopardised a mission as a whole before, but there's a first time for everything.

MY FAMILY LINE: //
The Archimedes family is ancient, stretching back to the age of the gods with a history of two and a half millennia. Its greatest head was the fifth head, Archimedes, none other than the world famous inventor and mathematician. His first name was adopted by his children as a surname in his honour. Unfortunately for them, however, this prestige would backfire.
A little over 1000 years ago, the 25th head of the family, Perses Archimedes, was sealed for developing a truly superior spell. Perses had yet to begin transplanting his crest, and thus his heir was left with nothing but the books and tomes written by his family, and his own magic circuits.
From this rough and abrupt restart, the Archimedes family was able to claw its way up the chain of ability and establish itself as a family that produced reliable enforcers. They would never again attain the status of Lord, and indeed, as enforcers, would even be despised by their former peers. Its archive of ancient spells dating back to the Age of Gods was lost, forever contained under the Association's seal for preservation.
Though originally an all-around pedigree that could deal with any magical field quite easily, the Archimedes family has, since that sealing, shifted to a specialisation in fire and heat magecraft, as well as fast-casting, combat-oriented spells.
The blood that flows through the Archimedes family is ancient, and their circuits are equally matured. Quality is unsurprisingly along the lines of 15-25, while quantity ranges from 30-40.
MY HISTORY: //
The 39th head of the Archimedes clan, Lenneth is the latest heir of the "Iron Age". The Archimedes of Clock Tower remain a proud family despite their fall, and have designated their long history with 'Ages' to monitor the decline of their magecraft since their greatest ancestor, Archimedes, whose death marked the end of the Golden Age. Back then, it was the Age of the Gods, when magecraft was closer to Magic, and words still held power.
It was followed by the Silver Age, marked with attempts to replicate the achievements of the old masters, a desperate scrambling to recover what had been lost. This ended with the fall of the Western Roman Empire over 1500 years ago.
The Bronze Age coincided with the early middle ages, when the decline of magecraft became truly prevalent. It carried on until the beginnings of the Association, and ended 1000 years ago, when Perses Archimedes was sealed by Clock Tower. The loss of the Golden Age Crest because of this incident marked the beginning of the Iron Age, where the Archimedes fell from their lofty place of power and had to start once more with only knowledge and circuits.
The Iron Age was marked with a desperate attempt to regain lost research. The heads of the Archimedes in this time cast aside the desire to achieve power and influence, instead focusing on what was truly important: research and truth. They began the slow process of rebuilding by reviewing their old masters' books and tomes, while simultaneously performing new research. As it were, it would be impossible to regain 1500 years of wisdom in only two thirds the time.
As such, the Iron Age continues to this day, with Lenneth as the 14th Head of the Iron Age.
Lenneth was born in a time when the members of the Archimedes family were beginning to gain momentum in their research. As the heir, a great burden was placed on her. Training began as soon as possible. Before she could say 'mama' or 'papa', she was already fluent at saying 'pyrokinesis'.
Because of her rearing and nurture, Lenneth grew up with what some would call an unhealthy fascination with watching things melt. How they would in their red heat wilt like flowers in the autumn in a slow grace and dignity that showed continuous resistance even in the face of death. Melting things were beautiful to her, specifically because they continued to fight, even as they 'died'.
The fiery passion, the burning desire to cling to existence was quite literally visible in something that was melting. A stark refusal to submit to the clearly superior forces around it, until the bitter end. That was what excited her most. It was not the family pride, but she certainly had that. No, it was one of the simplest things, to see what true life was like on the brink of death.
Even as she went through the strict training regimens of the Clock Tower, emerged near the top, and followed family tradition into the Enforcer Corps, that was the side of Lenneth that just slightly poked its head above the surface. She liked watching things melt.
As an Enforcer, her career was fraught with superior performance, especially when working in tandem with a second person. A sealing job in Oslo three years ago landed her with a member of the elite CCB, Genessa Satellizer. Since then, the two have maintained contact, and somewhat of a kinship. Regardless, however, Lenneth is most closely associated with her 'usual' partner, Eva Princeton.
The two have earned a reputation for a gimmicky approach that even resulted in them getting cheesy nicknames from their peers. "Christmas Lights" and "Traffice Enforcers", for one, due to their combinations of red and green. Independently, the nicknames sound less stupid and more generic, as "Red Sun" and "Green Serpent" would seem to indicate.
Several factors prevented her from joining the elite Chelon Canticle Brigade despite her superior aptitude. First off, was her reputation of being strange and preferring some gimmick to what is more practical. Second was her difficulty to adapting to a larger group. The Brigade operated as an out and out military unit, and thus operated on a strategic level, as well as tactical.
Lenneth simply was not fit for anything bigger than small unit tactics. Lastly, her attachment to her partner, who was not qualified for admission, would stop her even if she was accepted. Nevertheless, she would prefer this lack of restriction, anyway. And so, the "Traffic Enforcers" continued their sealing of the designated by themselves. But was that really so bad?
Upon hearing from Genessa that she planned to join the Holy Grail War, Lenneth packed up, bribed her partner with a year's worth of chocolates, and took the next flight to Lucca. This was going to be very entertaining indeed.
MY GOALS: // Give Genny a hand and entertain herself at the same time.

Damocles
Named in memory of the family's tragic fall from power over a thousand years ago, an allusion to the legendary Sword of Damocles, which symbolises the perils that the powerful face in their day to day lives.
Damocles is designed to withstand extreme heat. Made of a pure tungsten core encased in a diamond exterior, it is possible to heat the blade up to over 3000 degrees Celsius without affecting its hardness and toughness. Diamond being diamond, Damocles' cutting ability is top class by itself. When imbued with the Archimedes family's head blade spell, it might as well be renamed 'lightsaber'.
As one can imagine, it cost a lot of money to manufacture. Lenneth keeps Damocles stored in a cello case while in public areas.
Combat Knives
Lenneth primarily makes use of Ka-Bar 1222 combat knives, the same type employed by the SAS, and uses them in a dual wielded fashion. On the other hand, she also employs a large number of throwing knives to be used as one-off projectiles.
Archimedes
The Archimedes family memento. A precious red diamond pendant left behind by the fifth head, Archimedes. While it houses no magical potential, it is said that Archimedes left encoded within its crystal lattice structure the secrets to his greatest spell, one which he kept out of the Golden Age Crest. This was a puzzle of sorts for his descendants, that an heir whose Metis could match his own would be able to decode the notes and perfect the spell within their lifetime.
Its solution follows a strict family code that each head is prohibited from passing down the results of his attempt at solving it to his heir. This means that with each generation, the solving of the puzzle begins once more from scratch. Had this code not been enforced, it was likely to have been solved within a few generations. Nevertheless, the pride of the Archimedes family is such that they believe that one day, one of their children would be as gifted as their great ancestor.
Lenneth's progress at solving the puzzle of the Archimedes' code is 3%. Of course, she doesn't know that.
BMW S1000RR
A good old fashioned Sport Bike from some decade and a half ago, Lenneth purchased this specifically for getting around.
RANK: // 1st Rank
ELEMENT: // Fire/Heat
EXPERTISE: //
Flame/Heat Magecraft - The family specialty, Archimedes magecraft focuses on pushing the limits of manipulating temperatures and the more subtle facets of the fire element, rather than focusing on the obvious burning of things. Nevertheless, some basics, like setting things on fire, are definitely on their list as a basic necessity.
Blade Fighting - While Lenneth mostly uses a sword, a bunch of daggers is fine too. As long as it has a cutting edge, she should be able to use it with professional efficiency. Nevertheless, as stated earlier, she would prefer to fight with a sword and is practiced in western fencing. Dual-wielded dagger combatives are her second choice, throwing knives are the third, and when there isn't a choice, anything with a cutting edge. Like scissors.
Combat Reinforcement - In so carrying the long tradition of an Enforcer, Lenneth is highly skilled in the area of reinforcement. Capturing the Seal designated is a risky and dangerous business, after all. Be it a tool of hers or her own body, expect it to be done with superior efficiency that perfectly fits the situation. While this is meant primarily to enhance her effectiveness in the combative use of blades, it's also possible to fight hand to hand in this manner.
MAGIC CIRCUITS: // Lenneth has a quality of 23 and a quantity of 37, for a total of 851Pr.
SPELLS: //
Heat Blade (Heat)
Rank: C
Cost: 20-30Pr for initial casting, 1-2Pr per minute of activation
Range: Direct Contact
Effect:
A boundary field spell similar in principle to Invisible Air. Heat Blade envelops Damocles' blade in a bubble of extreme heat, 3000 Degrees Celsius, allowing it to cut through steel like a hot knife through butter. The heat itself is a controlled field, and so does not radiate out beyond necessary, much like the contained field of a lightsaber. Due to Damocles' composition, the blade itself remains solid and doesn't melt.
Heat Blade can be used on weapons with lesser durability such as combat knives for a reduced cost. This reflects the reduction of the temperature to levels that can be withstood by the materials in a certain blade without reaching its melting point. For this reason, Lenneth has extensive knowledge on the compositions of various blades.
It is a spell that has evolved alongside the Archimedes family's second Crest, and so has become stable as a two-liner, from five.
Heliocaminus II (Heat)
Rank: D-A
Cost: 6-74Pr
Range: 60m Pinpoint Target
Effect: Greek for 'Solar Furnace', it concentrates great levels of sunlight within an area onto a single target area with a diameter of 1cm, similar to a magnifying glass. The 'laser beam' itself lasts for 1 second before dissipating, with temperatures reaching 3000 degrees Celsius. In modern scientific practice, machinery based on the "Solar Furnace" principle are used for varying purposes, including, at the highest temperatures, to create nanomaterials such as carbon nanotubes or zinc nanoparticles.
The beam itself comes from the direction of any available sunlight. As such, it is possible to use this spell indoors, so long as there is even the slightest ray peering through the cracks in a roof or through a window. Otherwise, the user will have to create a window of some sort before it can be used.
This brings up the second obvious property, that is, the limitations. The spell cannot be used at night, and its power is diminished by cloudy days, moreso rainy days, as the area of concentration is set to a certain diameter.
The modification of an ancient spell from the Age of the Gods, as indicated by the "II", it is designed to conform to the standards of modern magecraft. No longer being in a time when words hold power, the original Heliocaminus, once a lightweight spell fit for repetitive firing, has become heavy and unwieldy. As such, it was streamlined and altered to more properly fit its original purpose, as well as improved in some regards concerning its limitations.
Since its conceptualization in the generation after Perses Archimedes a thousand years ago, Heliocaminus II has stabilised in the family's new Crest to the Single Action level.
Its offensive use is to be fired multiple times at rapid intervals, and can be called by simply pointing a finger at a target. Succeeding shots can be fired by raising additional fingers from the same hand to point at the target for a total of fire shots per hand. However, it should be noted that this spell functions on accuracy due to its laser-ness. As such, good eyesight is required to use it properly. While its range is theoretically as far as the line of sight, 60m represents Lenneth's personal ability to accurately aim without a scope.
The intensity and size of the beam can be adjusted, increasing in destructive capacity until it reaches the strength of the original version of Heliocaminus. Cover does not affect it, however, as with the new developments of the spell. So long as a place has access to sunlight, a beam can fire directly from that spot where sunlight passes through. The size of the opening also affects what level of beam can be used. A crack in a ceiling, for example, will allow at most the D-Rank version of the spell. On the other hand, a regular window will allow the Rank B version. As a general rule, width of the opening equals maximum diameter of beam that can be fired.
At the C-Rank level, it becomes a one-liner that deals 3200 degrees of heat to a diameter of 3cm for 3 seconds, costing 20Pr.
At B-Rank, a six-liner that deals 3300 degrees of heat to a diameter of 30cm for 3 seconds, costing 45Pr.
Flashpoint (Heat)
Rank: C
Cost: 10-15Pr per Object
Range: Direct Contact
Effect:
Essentially a more volatile version of Heat Blade, used on dispensable weapons like throwing daggers, or generally anything that gets thrown. Objects in question are superheated to damagingly high levels that push the boundaries of their structural integrity but do not necessarily reach the melting point.
Such objects become deadly "hot potato" items that can burn or hurt very, very badly, depending on what she picked up. A hot potato will be a hot potato, for instance, else it would explode as though microwaved. Throwing daggers will become white-hot heat penetrators at a painful 1500 degrees Celsius. These will eventually cool down, but as one can expect from wear and tear, can only be done to them so many times before they become very brittle and break.
As a rule, any number of objects in her hands when a single spell is cast will become affected, and prana is spent according to the number of objects affected at a time. This is a two-line version of the spell.
With the addition of a third line, objects are superheated near their flash point (hence the name of the spell) before being thrown. Upon embedding into a surface, the continued spell will abruptly jump their temperature to way past the kindling point, causing them to violently explode. This costs 5Pr more than simply heating them to the point described earlier.
As an expression of the Archimedes true superiority in the manipulation of heat, Lenneth can control which portions of the affected objects are heated, so that the spots that she touches do not heat up until after she has thrown the object.
Firewall (Fire)
Rank: C
Cost: 15Pr
Range: 20m
Effect:
Deterrent. Firewall raises up a wall of wildly licking flaming tongues eight feet high, twenty feet wide, and two feet thick. Normally, it lasts for ten seconds, which is more than enough time to let the caster do something else. This wall consumes prana used against it in a fire spell to lengthen its existence, and thus continue to distract an enemy for longer; one unit of prana equates to one additional second of existence. It can absorb up to 50 prana for a total life span of 1 minute.
The flame burns at 1000 degrees Celsius rather than the usual hotter packages, as it spreads out the prana into its burning curtain, rather than concentrating all of it on heating a single object as is with most examples here. Of course, a Servant can cut through it with relative ease, but then nobody said that it was designed to be used against Servants.
Firewall is a spell as old as the Iron Age Crest, and has stabilised from five lines to three.
Combat Reinforcement (Reinforcement)
Rank: C
Cost: 16-20Pr
Range: N/A
Effect:
Specialised full-body reinforcement developed by the Archimedes family as one of the basic requirements of developing a line of Enforcers. This enhances all key and relevant factors of the user's body, speed, reaction time, reflex sensitivity, durability and hardness, turning her into a human weapon. While under normal circumstances, it would last for five minutes - enough to finish a fight, considering what weapons Lenneth has at her disposal - it is possible to cycle more prana in the additional casting, extending its time to ten minutes.
This five-line spell was developed not long after the Archimedes bloodline had its forced 'reset'. Since its specialisation, the spell has been ingrained in the crest and stabilised to three lines.
