Reason for Absence/Inactivity: A storm hit and knocked out two transformers at home. Course we've got our power back but the internetz are still down and I'm not sure when they'll be back up (posting from a few cities over right now). Should only be a day or so of wait.

The week section that may come stems from college shenanigans and a major fuck up in financial aid that could get me kicked out of classes. Joy oh joy.

Reason for Absence/Inactivity:
Sadly my computer has contracted a virus, a rootkit to be precise. So far it's resisting all attempts to be removed, as the process comes back and the registry values for it return upon reboot after trying to delete them. It's disabling all anti-virus progams that detect it as well as others that also come into contact with it. The computer may have to be taken in to have a look at. Hopefully no reformatting will be needed.

My extro is going to be longer now, possibly 1 to 2 months of absence. Instead of relying on someone else to upgrade my computer, I am getting the components myself, which will be costing a lot of money, so I've decided to do it in stages. It WILL take a while, but the end result is worth it.

Please bear with me here while this upgrade is taking place. All I have is my girlfriend's laptop, but I'm not on it very much, because of TAFE and doing a lot of things outside my computer.

Reason for Absence/Inactivity:
Like whenever I had the luck of striving in the job I really love, I get the unfair and cruel smack in my face when I return to get on work on the job that is just necessary to finance life, and have a regular income as well. (Basically just one job feels too unsafe, albeit I don't have money issues... and wonder how long I will actually even bother with the stressful one.) This results that the work that was left unattended is now all sitting on my desk and that coworkers for strange reasons also always get sick during those months. I now even have to lead job interviews because a person got fired due to lazyness. Isn't that just wonderful!? Anyway, that means that a lot of work is also done away from the Computer and thus making multitasking totally impossible. I can write posts and have cbox Activity during normal working hours, but I can't do it while speaking with people.... In short people should not expect much c-box Activity for some time, except for weekends and that I will also have to delay my posts mostly to weekends. My apologies.

I have the GRE on the 11th and my comprehensive exams on the 19th-24th. These are both incredibly important for my future and I need to study more for them. If I have free time I'll try and post but I can't guarantee anything. If I disappear this is why.

The upgrade has been put on hiatus. It seems that the virus has been rid of and some form of stability has returned.

However.

Real life is catching up to me. Going are the days of my youth where I could spend a whole day on here. I am preparing for parenthood and I may have to get a job to earn more money. There will come a time next year where I will have no time for this place anymore. That's how it is.

I hope to clear up as much odds and ends in relation to my chars as possible, on the Cbox and hopefully on the board too, in order to avoid RP death. Bossu, I'd like to see you either on MSN or by PM conversation in regards to the Taiga Route.
