Reason for Absence/Inactivity: Stuff happens. Anyways, this is more of a C-Box extro. Don't plan to see me anytime soon in there, although I will still work on my characters from time to time (as that is all the time I can afford).

Reason:
Disgusted. Yes, that's the only word I can think of. Maybe I expected too much when this place was made and when many people joined. I had hoped that people would get along with each other and stick together. When problems occured they would be discussed in a suitable way and behaved properly. Asking in general, asking for opinions, deciding together.

It is understandable that some do not share this sentiment to a degree like I do and it is also true that some things need to be decided in haste. There are also moderators to take care of things.

Lately the number of decisions felt by single individuals, others only getting informed at a later point or not at all, causing major confusion in the rows just made me wonder what the actual point of cooperation was actually supposed to be.

I also see a lot of hypocrite activity. It's understandable that some people bear a grudge about some people, but it makes it really odd to see normal behavior at first and then an upstuck behavior to a degree where one wonders how they would react being treated like that. I have yet to see anyone not making at least a slight mistake, and they should be forgiven. But when a person makes mistakes and always assumes to be in the right while not forgiving others, that's odd for me.

Nevertheless, what is really insulting is the general behaviour of some people. A decision is a decision and should be made, but all I see is cyberbullying and people enjoying themselves over it. Is this an environment I want to be in? My answer to that is no. My only options are 1.) Leaving; 2.) Purging it with fire, and you can believe me that when I begin with something I do it very thoroughly. Either I am just too disappointed and depressed to see it as I should see it, but those flames would currently most likely destroy a good portion of the board.

As several are probably less inclined about feeling sad about the current 'board' than me, said destruction would certainly be unwelcome to them. Although I can also say that I do not really care about everyone, I have no interest in being selfish enough to change the environment like I would have hoped it to be.

I had some general ideas, had put efforts into the profiles to post them, but it currently makes no sense, and from what I could see is that many Rpers might actually even be glad that I free them their favourite spots.

Maybe the site grew too much for me to accept everyone, maybe not.

Anyway, as it might have been a bit rushed which is the reason why I added the extra content and thinking about it. I don't like to force a retcon...

and I have no interest in the approaching Emoness that I will likely see by little, white haired children.

And I forgot Option 3.) Which is probably some inbetween solution. Whatever.

Reason for Absence/Inactivity: I'll be off to Lake Superior, and be heading all the way to Algonquin Park. It will be approximately 1300 km (or as I like to say 1.3 mega-meters) worth of tripping in a canoe. I won't be able to post any updates because I'll be nowhere near a computer, electricity, or modern convenience. The trip will last 50 days, but there will be some down time after the trip before I head back home.

Inactive Character(s): Alfonso Anastasius. Sorry Bill, but I had to deal with organizing a food drop at the last moment so I wasn't able to finish the post in time.

It's one of those "so close yet so far" deals where I keep trying to get it fixed and then something else comes up to stall its repair. I even got a temporary job to pay for this crap.

No, I'm not leaving.

No, this is a permanent activity drop. Why the drop? Because I'll be moving in with my girlfriend closer than originally expected. This means far less time on the computer and the internet. I will DEFINITELY still be here, as there's no way I would leave, but it's likely that it'll only be a few times a week rather than every day. There's no way I'd leave this place as you guys are amazing, even though I can be a pain at times. The RPs are fun, both on the forums and in the box.

Reason for Absence/Inactivity: I've actually been thinking about this for a while, and I am probably being very inconsiderate (especially to the ones I have an open thread with) but I'm trying to cut down on commitments and the board's one of them. I've been owing posts for a reaally long time now and that just leaves this really uncomfortable feeling even though I really should be doing other things even though posts shouldn't take more than and hour but I am staring at a blank screen while dying over school-and-other-life-related things and it's little things like these that kind of pile up and snowball into a huge pile of blaaargh, not to mention I can't really write for crap doho.

The board was a really nice, fun diversion for a really long time (I think it's been almost a year) but I'm getting into that really icky bit of high school where I'm going to be doing my HSC (I think the American equivalent is a SAT?) really soon (SHUT UP A YEAR IS SOON OKAY) and marks and everything else are really, really not where I need them to be.

I'll still be contact-able on skype, and maybe hopefully soonish I might be able to wrap up my open threads without leaving too many ridonkulous things. I think my best bet will be to systematically kill off my master/servant characters so that it wouldn't leave too much of a gaping hole in continuity and so that Aela and Adam don't get left hanging (again).

So yeah it was great hanging out with you all, I might pop into the box a couple of times to wrap up with loose ends, but otherwise I'm going to attempt cutting ties not in a lolraegquit this time (dohohoho) but to get my priorities and stuff in order.

Gremlins and personal reasons.

So I took my PC to the repair shop and the dumbfuck technicians said "X couldn't be done" when I remember having done X, Y, and Z before. Just comes so show that by this point, I know more than they do, and you know the old saying. If you want something done, do it yourself. I'll be spending this time stumbling around technical support forums, trying to figure out how to get my old boot back up to spec. Failing that I'll have to take drastic measures, which might end up stretching this past the original marker.

Personal reasons stay private. It's a lot better than writing up another fucktacular gushing waterfall of cry me a river that makes me look like a complete and utter failure of a person. If you want something fixed, keep it to yourself. I've written enough whiny bullshit the past few months that it would make Fallout Boy proud. I'm not about to make Linkin Park proud next.

Besides, I showed that to somebody recently, and it did not end well for the two of us. Lesson learned, time to move on.
