- Laid-back
- Easy going, friendly, and not the type to stand for formality, it's immediately apparent that Anne Bonny isn't the type to be offended easily. She was a pirate, after all; it wouldn't be much good if she didn't have a sense of humor. On the other end of the spectrum, expect her to be snarky & playful all at once, even to people she might not know very well. However, her generally friendly manner and easy smile makes her seem like a very likable person.
- Social
- Exactly what it says on the tin. Despite being a servant, it's never too late to meet new people. If nothing else, making new contacts and forming new allies could hardly be considered a bad thing. It doesn't take much excuse to make conversation, and Anne takes advantage of that fact far too much. You know the people who never put down the phone and talk for hours, but then make you feel awkward if you want to hang up? That's Anne. Immediately at ease in any social situation, she not only knows how to read the atmosphere, but twist it to her advantage.
- Whimsical
- Anne Bonny likes to change her mind. A lot. Important matters like life or death included. It's not because she can't decide, it's because she doesn't like limiting herself. As a result, she's fickle and fanciful, not to mention incalculable. Not even she knows what she might want the next moment, let alone anyone else. Perhaps it suited her to go wherever the wind took her in life, but as a servant, being so capricious just makes her dangerously unpredictable.
- 'Flexible'
- Being an outlaw in life, you might think that her Anne Bonny's morals aren't set in stone. You would think right. Despite having her own (possible questionable) moral compass that she adheres to religiously, she's not quite as strict on external authority. Breaking the law means next to nothing for her, and neither does being a wanted woman. Not above lying and cheating to get her way, and possibly even murder depending on the situation, it's safe to say that Anne has, and had, a pretty good relationship with her profession.
- Impetuous
- Despite her laid-back demeanor and easy temper, the tried and true adage of 'look before you leap' isn't a phrase Anne would even acknowledge. Adventurous and daring, she'd easily jump into situations without thinking them through too much, relying just as much as on luck as on skill. This devil-may-care attitude most definitely suits a pirate, although perhaps not so much a servant.
- Nurses grudges
- Don't let her friendly exterior fool you; if Anne Bonny gets angry, she really gets angry. Expect lots of broken furniture, possible a body count, uncharacteristic angry shouting, and property damage. Remember how it was stated that she's fairly difficult to anger? Be thankful. Once you've earned Anne Bonny's ire, don't expect to get off her blacklist anytime soon. Even if you might forget, she won't.
- Slow to trust
- The stint in prison has certainly made Anne Bonny a far more bitter person on the inside. Regardless of what history might tell you, Bonny did get executed after the birth of her child. Consequently, she's not quite as carefree as she'd like you to believe, having a good few trust issues courtesy of her splotchy past, unwilling to really open up to anyone. Despite trying not to dwell on her past, it seems to have had the opposite effect. Not that anyone else knows.
Kleptomaniac* Likes stuff- Anne Bonny likes stuff. It's not the whole reason she's a pirate, but it's certainly one of them. She also isn't too familiar with the concept of object ownership. All you really need to do now is put two and two together, really.

LIKES: // Excitement, Adventure, New things, Gloves, Teasing people, open spaces, big guns/cannons (MORE DAKKA.)
DISLIKES: // Stick-in-the-muds, authority, hesitation, small spaces
STRENGTHS: // Anne Bonny is hardly fazed in any social environment at all; except maybe high-class functions. She can manipulate such situations to her favour, not to mention her friendly facade putting people off guard. A good liar, and a good actor, her charms, coupled with an attractive face, is difficult to resist. Anne Bonny's main strengths in battle lie in her range and her speed; with her agility she's able to dodge most attacks, returning fire from a safe distance.
WEAKNESSES: // Since after being arrested, Anne Bonny's found herself to be just a little claustrophobic, being quite uncomfortable in enclosed spaces. Despite becoming a servant, the phobia still remains. Actually, closed spaces are disadvantageous for Anne Bonny in general, as she'd be unable to rely on range or greater mobility. Anne Bonny doesn't mesh well with authority either; something which might get her in trouble in the modern climate.

MY LEGEND: // Can be found here.
MY HISTORY: //
Anne Bonny was an illegitimate child between an attorney and his maid, in Ireland. Due to her illegitimate status, she was unable to enjoy the benefits of having a father in such high places, and instead relegated to the bottom of the family's tier, barely above the servants, not enjoying any of the benefits to be born into such a well-to-do family. To be fair, it wasn't particularly harsh, nor trying, but what can be said was that Anne grew up without the affection of a father. It didn't help that her mother died when she was only eleven.
When she was thirteen, Anne stabbed a serving girl in the stomach, effectively committing murder. Granted, she was pretty drunk at the time, and the girl insulted the memory of her mother or something, it was to be expected that something not good would happen. Thanks to her father's status, however, she wasn't tried for it. But is did estrange relations between father and daughter more, the parent threatening to disown the child altogether if she didn't get her act together.
Hardly a year after that, Anne Cormac married James Bonny, a small-time pirate and a weak man. They'd met in a tavern, and after James heard about Anne's father's status, he wished to gain the inheritance despite Anne's illegitimacy. As was writ in history, his gambit didn't succeed as Anne became disowned. Bearing no ties to her family at all anymore, Anne and her fiance moved to the Bahamas, settling down for a short while In Nassau, on New Providence Island, a hotbed of pirate activity.
It was New Providence Island that James somehow, unkbenownst to Anne at the time, became an informant to the governor, and Anne had an affair with the pirate John 'Calico Jack' Rackham, culmulating with a child. Already strenuous relations between her and her husband soured even more, and when James threatened to take her to court over the matter, Bonny and Rackham stole a sloop to take to a life of piracy on the high seas.
During her career, she and her crew captured dozens of ships, hauling in a respectable amount of treasure by all accounts. During her life as a pirate, she formed a close friendship with the woman known as Mary Read, whom even she at first had mistaken to be male. It was definitely during this time in her life that Anne Bonny was the happiest; going wherever the wind took her, concerned only about their next prize.
That period in her life came to a jarring close on a foggy October night, when a sloop captained by Johnathan Bartnet boarded their ship after a particularly late night of drinking. Although single-handedly, together with Mary Read, managing to hold off the boarding party, they were eventually overwhelmed by numbers, and arrested. She would later learn that it was her former fiance, James Bonny, who fed the information to the governor who sent the boarding party.
Despite being able to get her sentence delayed by claiming to be pregnant, and what the history books might say, Anne Bonny was formally excecuted on September 16th, 1721. The reason she disappeared from the records was due to some tinkering from her father's part; he did indeed try to ransom her out of prison, but didn't succeed.
Anne Bonny has never appeared in a grail war before the 6th.
MY GOALS: //
A second shot at life might've been the reason she became a servant, but for now, merely enjoying the grail war seems to be enough.[/blockquote]
Dual 'flintlock' pistols:
Authentic prana-powered guns from the 18th century. Due to their presumably magical nature, they require no reloading, don't jam up horribly like the firearms did back in the 1700's, as well being able to fire without pause. In reality, it's just a flintlock-shaped prana-shooting cannon, but that doesn't stop Anne Bonny from referring to them as such. They should be as, or more effective, than modern firearms, and are naturally effective against other servants.
What they fire are pure bursts of magical energy, which Anna channels into the weapons through either herself or other sources. The more prana is pushed into the guns, the more firepower they have. Unfortunately, the weapons themselves aren't all that durable, and can't handle large quantities at once for fear of breaking.
Saber:
Not be be mistaken for that Saber. Once again, a magical weapon which bears very little in common to her Noble Phantasm. Just a nameless sword, albeit an enchanted one that's effective against other servants, Anne Bonny uses it in melee combat. Although not quite as skillful with the blade as compared to her pistols, she still wields it with a deft hand, sometimes even dual-wielding with her off-hand holding a firearm.
NOBLE PHANTASM: //
Bonny's Sloop'O'War
Owner: Anne Bonny
Type: Anti-army
Rank: A
Range: 500m
Targets: Area of Effect
Story: Being a Rider, Anne Bonny needs her own ride. Being a pirate, Anne Bonny has her own ship. Although throughout the course of her career, Bonny's owned quite a few ships, this one is particular is the first one she stole, along with Calico Jack. The name of the ship's been lost in history, but the ship itself hasn't.
Effect:
In essence, a magical floating ship. To summon the vessel, no preparation is needed; Anne Bonny merely needs to call the ship to her. It has the size and dimensions of a average sloop-of-war, and posesses 30 cannons, 14 on either side and 2 at the stern. Similar to Bonny's guns, the cannons don't fire conventional cannonballs, but guided bursts of prana at a target. Using her noble phantasm that way guzzles prana like there's no tomorrow, though. She could probably manage at most around a dozen volleys of all 30 guns before running completely dry, although she would usually try for half of that amount before resorting to other tactics.
However, that is not the main benefit of Bonny's sloop. Whilst on the vessel, Anne Bonny is virtually untouchable, unless her opponent somehow finds a way on-board a floating ship. The wood is extremely resistant to magic, with any spells below C-level hardly scratching it, and requiring serveral A-level spells to breach the hull. Furthermore, due to it's magical properties continues to float even when damanged physically. And it can float very high.
It goes without saying that if she were to fight on the ship, the advantage would be to Bonny. She gets to control how the vessel floats, and where it floats to, not to mention being very familiar with a ship to begin with.
However, as it is with all noble phantasms, it is a massive mana hog, and once it's destroyed somehow, it's going to take quite a while to repair. Even without firing it's cannons, the ship existing in itself costs prana. Although, in theory, and depending on the master, it could last indefinitely by slowly siphoning off their prana, half an hour is generally the effective time-limit.
