- Blunt
- Noor's social skills are, in a word, poor. When she feels strongly about something, she has difficulty keeping her mouth shut, and her opinions are rarely popular or tactful.
- Driven
- The things that Noor cares about, she attacks with frightening enthusiasm. Most of them involve some sort of violence, but that's the sort of person she is. That which doesn't care for, or simply isn't good at, tends to get ignored.
- Perceptive
- Despite her brash persona, she has a remarkable eye for details--a holdover from her father's strict training. She has exceptionally good combat senses: when/where a fight will be starting, who the most threatening target is, where someone might attack her, and small weaknesses in someone's defense are all things which come quickly and intuitively to her.
- Lonely
- Even though she's rugged, loud, and independent, Noor is still human. Years of relative isolation have left her with a dependency complex that she will never admit to. The people she bonds with are incredibly important to her, even if she has trouble showing it most of the time.
LIKES: Combat, training, meditation, buff men, old kung fu films.
DISLIKES: Lying, treachery, effeminate men, arguing, cowardice, unfair fights.
STRENGTHS: Anything and everything physical, combat tactics, leading (by example)
WEAKNESSES: Magic, trickery, leading (with rhetoric)[/ul]
Because of their remoteness, they had no contact with other mages, and so never learned about "proper" magic. In essence, traditional El-Hashem magecraft is similar to the exercise Emiya Shirou went through before learning how to properly activate his magic circuits. It is an extremely dangerous technique, that requires long periods of meditation as their painfully reconstruct their magic circuits, and focusing all of their accumulated prana on strengthening their body. Over years, it dramatically increases their physical ability, and nearly every El-Hashem heir has gone on to become a renowned soldier or mercenary.
Unfortunately, in the late 19th and early 20th century, the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and British imperialism forced the El-Hashem family out of obscurity. While fighting a guerrilla war against the imperialists, Noor's great-grandfather Husayn caught the eye of a British mage. After a brief and lopsided battle, Husayn was given a choice: come to London and become part of "civilized" mage society, or die along with all his heirs. Thus, the El-Hashem family became a "legitimate" bloodline, although clearly looked down upon by the rest of the association. Noor's father and grandfather made great strides with incorporating traditional magecraft with their unique family heritage, with her father even becoming a notable Enforcer, but with his disappearance, Noor has become deeply distrustful of mages and magecraft, and focuses almost exclusively on reclaiming her "lost" family knowledge.
Though the El-Hashem bloodline is very old, they are unskilled mages. They generally have only have 10 magical circuits, as any more would make their magic extremely dangerous to perform. However, do to the long term construction and reconstruction that they constantly perform, these circuits are of abnormally high quality. Noor's father, said to be the most powerful magus in the bloodline's history, had 10 circuits that could output 10 PrC. Noor, however, averages only 5 PrC.
The El-Hashem's bloodline Sorcery is known as The Demon. Unknown even among most of the lineage, it is the true form of the pact their ancestor Al-Ghul made during the 13th century. In times of extreme stress or life-threatening danger, The Demon activates automatically, vastly increasing all of the user's combat stats, at the expense of their sanity. Once activated, The Demon can never truly be turned off, only "suppressed". The more an El-Hashem uses The Demon, the more difficult it is to control. Eventually, they become completely and permanently mad, and are either killed, or die from heart failure due to the extreme physical exertion it requires. It is worth noting that every single El-Hashem that has discovered The Demon has died from it. They will never know a peaceful death.
El-Hashem magic specializes almost exclusively in Strengthening magic. Although in the last century, they have gained the ability to use very basic magecraft from other specialties, Strengthening and physical modification is by far their strongest suit.
MY HISTORY: For almost all of her life, Noor has been alone. Her mother, with a weak constitution, died when she was quite young, leaving her upbringing solely in the hands of her father. It was a difficult time for both of them, but her father did his best to raise Noor as best he could--like the son he always wanted. Well-aware of the dangers that magecraft brings, he sought to instill in her a deep sense of strength and independence from a young age. To this end, he made her start physical training when she was only six years old, and became emotionally distant.
He had hoped that when she was older, he could explain why he had to be so harsh with her, the only daughter and heir to a second-class mage family. Unfortunately, his own exceptional skill as a mage and a warrior caught the eye of the association, and he was "promoted" to the rank of Enforcer, trusted to carry out Sealing Designations on dangerous and important magi across the world. When Noor was only twelve, her father was sent away on his first mission. He promised her that when he returned he would "explain everything", and it would only take a few weeks.
However, the weeks turned to months, and the months into years. After three years with absolutely no word from her father, Noor stormed into the Mage Association demanding answers, but all she received were nebulous responses and closed doors. Despite all her best efforts, her father's disappearance was completely classified. They even denied that he had ever been an Enforcer to begin with. Feeling frustrated and betrayed, Noor abandoned the association, and began doing her own investigation into the darker side of the mage world. Her search eventually led her to the Holy Grail War, and the knowledge that a new one was taking place in Italy. She didn't know what the grail was, or if it could even really help her find her father, but she believed that if she could acquire such a powerful artifact, perhaps she might even be able to convince the Mage Association to tell her what really happened to her father.
MY GOALS: To fight in the holy grail war, and either claim the grail for herself, or use it to force the Mage Association to reveal the truth about her father's disappearance.

EQUIPMENT: None
RANK: 7th
ELEMENT: Earth
EXPERTISE: Combat, Military Tactics, Strengthening Magic
MAGIC CIRCUITS: 10 Magic Circuits, with 5 PrC.
SPELLS:
El-Hashem Strengthening, 1st Release (Earth)
Rank: C
Cost: 15 Pr
Range: Self
Effect: The first and most fundamental stage of El-Hashem strengthening magic, this technique reinforces the bones. Every bone in their body becomes heavily reinforced, usually at least twice as strong as they were before. Experienced practitioners can reach three or even four times normal bone strength using this technique.
El-Hashem Strengthening, 2nd Release (Earth)
Rank: C
Cost: 15 Pr
Range: Self
Effect: The second and most devastating stage of El-Hashem strengthening magic, this technique reinforces the muscles. It not only makes them stronger, but enhances them in every way, improving flexibility, range of motion, and durability. It also makes the muscles as solid as rock, which, combined with enhanced bones, gives the user incredibly enhanced offensive and defensive capabilities.
El-Hashem Strengthening, 3rd Release (Earth)
Rank: C
Cost: 15 Pr
Range: Self
Effect: The final and most deceptive stage of El-Hashem strengthening magic, this technique reinforces the senses. By focusing all the accumulated prana into their sensory organs, the user gains super-human awareness of their surroundings. Distant whispers become as clear as an intimate conversation, and the eyes can take in vastly more information at once. In a fight, it effectively allows the user to slow time by 50%, but react just as fast as normal. However, much training is required before it can be used effectively, because without proper concentration, the increased sensory data will only confuse and disorient the user.
One Instant, One Thousands Strikes (Earth)
Rank: A
Cost: 55 Pr
Range: Melee
Effect: A martial technique so powerful that it itself borders on spellcraft, it is the ultimate technique of the El-Hashem bloodline. Requiring total concentration, and reinforcement of the entire body, this technique is designed to utterly destroy a single opponent instantaneously. Only a few members of the El-Hashem bloodline, including Noor's father, have been able to perform this technique. Noor herself is only aware of the theory, but presently does not have enough prana to even attempt it.
FACE CLAIM: Apparently it's an edited version of Alice, of the American McGee's variety.
