Contrary to the principles he espoused as a Stoic, Brutus was personally arrogant, and he was grasping and cruel in his dealings with those he considered his inferiors, including provincials and the kings of client states. He was admired by Cicero and other Roman aristocrats, and after his death he became a symbol of resistance to tyranny.
Brutus is gentle, charismatic and loyal.
He is also a conservative person. He was kind and good enough to be one of the close friends of the former Roman Emperor Julius Caesar and a member of the Senate. His soldiers which he commanded are very loyal to him and he is also respected by many in the Senate even those with higher ranks. However, he also knows the act of “betrayal” as he was one who led and manipulated the 60 or more people to assassinate Emperor Caesar on March 15 44 BC.
He is a man capable of sacrificing anything he has just for the good of his beloved Empire. He can also be cunning and manipulative. An example is, after conquering countries in Asia, he was able to manipulate the flow of wealth and exchange between his territory and Rome and turned most of the money governed by his war into Roman gold and silver giving him immense wealth and fortune. He even made portraits of himself.
He can also be regretful and always likes to be alone. This personality might’ve resurfaced when he murdered his own friend and his act of suicide before death. He also dislikes the fact that he was summoned as an Assassin making him feels uneasy and angry. He is also a callous person and is not interested in other people’s feelings as he shows no remorse in using innocent people to do his bidding. But he says that his actions are all for the good and his Master’s benefit. His motto is, “True Conquest and Freedom is only attained through Sacrifices.”

STRENGTHS: //
His main strength and arsenal is his ability to earn the trust and hearts of people. As a servant called by the Holy Grail in the class of Assassin, he utilizes this ability to control the minds and hearts of normal people and uses them as Pawns to fulfill his objectives. He can also use his power to earn and increase money to use it for his own plans to control greedy people. He is also a capable writer as he wrote many literary works during his time but all were lost. As a former Military Leader, he is a great tactician which earned him many victories in the past. This ability is not in large-scale fights alone, he, who was known as the conductor of the Ides of March, made an assassination which no one outside of the Senate knew of thus was 100% successful in assassinating Caesar. He is also an excellent close range fighter using a 1.5 meter long rapier as his armament.
WEAKNESSES: //
As an assassin and during his life, his physical strength is below average. Unlike other Assassins, he is not capable of attaining numerous knowledge and personalities. His presence concealment is also below average than a normal assassin. Despite being an excellent swordsman, he is not talented and as skilled as servants and heroes summoned in the Saber-Class. His endurance and body is also below average.

MY LEGEND: // The Life of Brutus
MY HISTORY: //
This was the noblest Roman of them all:
All the conspirators save only he
Did that they did in envy of great Caesar;
He only, in a general honest thought
And common good to all, made one of them.
His life was gentle, and the elements
So mix'd in him that
Nature might stand up
And say to all the world "
This was a man!"
--William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar, Act 5, Scene 5 (Mark Antony)
Marcus Junius Brutus, also called Quintus Caepio Brutus was born in June 85 BC. He was a Roman politician, one of the leaders in the conspiracy that assassinated Julius Caesar in 44 bc. Brutus was the son of Marcus Junius Brutus and Servilia. After his adoption by an uncle, Quintus Servilius Caepio, he was commonly called Quintus Caepio Brutus.
Brutus was an eminent orator of the Attic school of public speaking— i.e., he adhered to rhetorical principles based on notions of naturalness in reaction to trends toward excessive displays of emotion (of the Asiatic school)—and he wrote many literary works, all lost. Some of his letters survive among Cicero’s correspondence.
He first studied Stoicism and was taught by his other uncle Cato the Younger. Sometime later, he became an officer in the court of senate. Later, he tried to oppose Pompey increasing power but during Caesar’s invasion, he reconciled with Pompey and helped him defend against the future tyrant in Greece. However, after Pompey’s defeat he was later captured but pardoned by Caesar.
Brutus became a member of the senior priesthood of the pontifices and from 47 to 45 governed Cisalpine Gaul for Caesar. Caesar appointed him city praetor (a high-ranking magistrate) in 44 with Gaius Cassius Longinus, and he named Brutus and Cassius in advance as consuls for 41. Brutus married Cato’s daughter Porcia after Cato’s death in 46.
Long optimistic about Caesar’s plans, Brutus was shocked when, early in 44, Caesar made himself perpetual dictator and was deified. Always conscious of his descent from Lucius Junius Brutus, who was said to have driven the Etruscan kings from Rome, Brutus joined Cassius and other leading senators in the plot that led to the assassination of Caesar on March 15, 44 bc. Driven from Rome by popular outrage, Brutus and Cassius stayed in Italy until Mark Antony forced them to leave. They went to Greece and then were assigned provinces in the East by the Senate.
They gradually seized all of the Roman East, including its armies and treasuries. Having squeezed all the money he could out of Asia, Brutus turned the wealth into Roman gold and silver coins, some (following Caesar’s example) with his own portrait on them. In late 42 he and Cassius met Mark Antony and Octavian (later the emperor Augustus) in two battles at Philippi. Cassius killed himself after being defeated in the first, and Brutus did likewise after being defeated in the second. Mark Antony gave him an honourable burial.
Brutus was extremely ashamed of what he did on his former Emperor but was able to accept the fact that he did it for the benefit his own country. Even though he was shunned by the people of Rome as a conspirator and murderer, he still accepted that what he did was truly unforgiveable even though they were the right choices. He was never given credited as a man who gave Rome a “new start.”
MY GOALS: //
Brutus’ introduced desires for the Holy Grail is he wants to serve a leader once more and would not doubt or betray that person again. He is very remorseful when someone praises his loyalty as he could never call himself truly loyal as he first doubted his first emperor, and betrayed his close friend. He wants to serve a new emperor and guide him to the right path. This might sound good for any Master but if his Master could not provide these desires, then he may betray him/her to find another who will.

Brutus’ ability to convince and sway the hearts and minds of people. The very power he used to gather assassins to kill Caesar and the charismatic leadership he gave to his army against many opponents in the likes of Octavian and Mark Anthony. The interruptions occur 1 kilometer from Brutus' current location. Prana and Mana is not needed to maintain this Noble Phantasm. There are conditions for this Noble Phantasm that MUST be met:
1.) One must deliver the hidden “words” through media or literary works. Upon hearing/reading the words appointed by Brutus, it immediately controls the will and mind of the listener/reader.
2.) The Noble Phantasm must be within range of 1 kilometer from Brutus.

6.) The “Pawns” mind controlled can only do what they can normally do as a human. Thus, they can’t physically outmaneuver a Servant or Mage. However, they can carry certain weapons which they use in their daily lives like kitchen knives, guns, etc.
7.) The Mind Control is automatically negated and disappears if its caster dies.
