- Vigorous
- If there was anything Chiyome was, it was willing to take action. Sitting around was not something she loved particularly much. Whenever something needed to be done, you could bet that Chiyome poured every ounce of her into the task. While she may restrict her expression within sight of an enemy or an employer, if she's close to what she likes then there are great chances of seeing her with an energetic smile. It is a pretty one.
- Prideful
- A noblewoman to the last, she is filled with pride of herself. She expects nothing but the best of herself, and will feel very happy with herself if she was praised for something. This woman can be dangerously easily manipulated by presenting with what is expected of her. And should she fail, expect a serious amount of blame to envelope her mind against herself. Probably this trait that made her accept the job that eventually turned her into a Heroic Spirit.
- Endearing
- She honestly cares about her loved ones. While she attempts to appear as a powerful individual that is the best at everything and a role-model of mercilessness, she cares honestly for the lives of the people she saves. The care and love she shows her pupils reveal her true care. Scolds them with the same love she praises them. As such, they find her truly likable as she shows them the ropes of a much darker world than it would appear from the group being trained here. Because their sensei is adored.
- Patient
- Of course she is, or she would not have made a good kunoichi. She could stay waiting for her target days upon end. While not one usually combined with the trait of the vigorous, it has come to handy often as she’s dealt with the mistakes of her students and acted as their second mother. She can also listen to the most outrageous orders without emotions clouding her thoughts about the idiots. Chiyome, as any respectable ninja, can appear a truly calm and wise woman who have earned her years. Her mental state is strong, and much is needed to get onto her nerves.
- Merciless
- Make no mistakes about it, Chiyomi is a deadly assassin and a killer of highest regard. There is no doubt about her skills and lack of compassion for her enemies. Should her mission include it, anyone will die. Nobody is safe or sacred if the business requires it. Should the country or lord require it… She’d kill anyone. The lack of hesitation and compassion is total. Sometimes one can wonder if not all the earlier personality is just an act she’s put up for the reason of being liked, and her true self is this unflinching killer. Scared is only the first word to describe someone who just saw Chiyomi acting professionally. Of course, such people do not exist. Maybe, is this the true her? Is everything else but a façade to make people like her more? If so, she is more terrible an individual than one could possibly imagine.
LIKES: //
Energy, things getting done, praise directed at her. Pupils working hard with determination to succeed. Progress and life. A successful mission. Gentle music.
DISLIKES: //
Being manipulated. Finding an action she did to have been meaningless. Failure to accomplish things. Having her pride be insulted. Vibrations in surroundings. Loud noises.
STRENGTHS: //
An agile Assassin skilled in the arts of subterfuge and slaying. A gentle and steady heart keeps her alive as she pursues her goals across the land. An experienced kunoichi, she holds many skills and many deadly arts that took many years to train. Her solid mind keeps her from being let down or hesitating when it matters the most, and she is also capable of measuring the situation at hand easily and by that can make a decision based on circumstances. A powerful patience always keeps her in control, unless she sees reason not to. A great spy and infiltrator.
WEAKNESSES: //
As all others of her kind, she is an Assassin and not a straight-out warrior. Her clothes lack armor, and her muscles are not built for assaults the same way as the samurai or other heroes. As could be expected, she is weak in the department of dynamic muscles and can easily be overpowered by someone strong. She lacks a truly strong Phantasm to get rid of opponents, and will be forced to flee if met straight-on. Believe it or not, but her pride can be used against her despite the more intelligent and tolerant part of her mind.

MY LEGEND: // Wikipedia about Chiyome

MY HISTORY: // As a so professional ninja, there is preciously little that history knows about the soul, Mochizuki Chiyome. Here is listed the real life of Mochizuki Chiyome, as experienced in this world.
Chiyome was born in the sixteenth century, a time of much strife in Japan. The amount of battles of this time were many. Born in the Kouga, a ninja clan which many feared, she was brought up while taught all the arts that could be taught to a upcoming little ninja girl. However, it was not customary at this age to teach this art to girls. Chiyome was taught anyway. Her parents must have truly wished for her to be able to protect herself, just in case. However, there may have been a reason for that she was not supposed to be taught the arts of a ninja.
When Chiyome had grown to an adequate age, she was married off to a rich noble samurai warlord called Mochizuki Nobumasa, from where Chiyome got the last name she would keep forever more and become famous beneath. This marriage was done in order to please the daimyo of the warlord, Takeda Shingen. If this worked or not, would be a question answered in more detail later. For a while, Chiyome lived merely as the wife of a great samurai, her skills as a ninja kept as a mere memory residing within her mind as a reminder of life outside that of a noble’s.
One day, while her husband was out at war, Chiyome was unexpectedly approached by the daimyo Takeda Shingen. There were a number of reasons that Chiyome could imagine to why he would chose to approach her, but none of them turned out to be true. The case was so that Shingen knew very well about Chiyome’s skills as a ninja. How he had come across this knowledge remains a mystery since so few females were also trained as ninja, or perhaps it was pure coincidence as he had assumed all females were trained. He wanted her to arrange for him a number of fully trained female ninja who followed his commands, which would aid him in gathering information and other things in the war. Led by her lawful ninja instincts towards her employer, Chiyome agreed.
Chiyome travelled the land of Japan. She sought through towns and cities, seeking a certain kind of female. She tracked them down. The kind of female she was searching for were orphaned girls, sold girls or otherwise abandoned by society. Welcoming them with open arms, she allowed them a path out of their otherwise miserable lives. Granting them a chance to be useful to the world in an entirely different way, the girls followed Chiyome as if she was a dream come true. Perhaps she was. A way out from the horrible state their lives had ended in, to a new beginning. But that new beginning was but the means to a terrible end, no matter how lovely the ferry.
In the village of Nazu in the Shinshu region, the days started. The girls that may have considered themselves saved by the Chiyome began their training. Under the caring eyes of their teacher, the girls trained their ninjutsu skills day in and day out. Watching them grow with pride, Chiyome let their skills develop and let their equipment get sponsored by the daimyo Takeda Shingen himself. From time to time, Chiyome would sneak out into the world to collect more abandoned girls, and a legend spread about a female ninja collecting girls thrown out by society, saving them and bringing them to a better life. During this time, Chiyome became the target of the adoration of her pupils, and she in turn answered them with the gentleness of a mother most of them had never had. An onlooker must have thought the sight was adorable.
… But the purpose of what they were doing was far from adorable. Over time, her pupils became ready for action one by one. Takeda Shingen wasted no time using them to their full potential as he provided their missions. As their teacher and now commander, Chiyome organized their attempts with a previously unseen seriousness that made them all realize this was the real deal, with lives at stake. With an efficiency which would be called unbelievable, Chiyome organized her ninjas to infiltrate and spy to the best of their abilities. They were members of a new kind, the most difficult to locate kind of ninja ever. These were the kind of ninja that Chiyome had trained. These were the Kunoichi, trained female infiltrators skilled at taking use of charm and employments to come as close as possible to their targets, and complete their missions.
With complete control on her ninjas and on the means which the missions completed, Chiyome guided the hands of the kunoichi. Takeda Shingen is said to have been greatly aided by the system. Chiyome outdid herself. She was only supposed to have arranged a few agents, but by herself Chiyome trained a village on roughly 300 girls who while travelling around created a network of gathered information which surpassed borders. It was only a matter of time until the name Mochizuki Chiyome was heard across the land, as the leader of a deadly new force on the field of tactics. The name was most likely spilled by a blabbermouth pupil somewhere that knew the name of her teacher. A time afterwards, it was the name on everyone’s lips.
After that, the missions of Chiyome only grew more frequent. People wanted to make use of her network. Between training new kunoichi and watching over those already out on missions Chiyome got her hands full. Then and there news reached them about a pupil who met her end, and it hurt them all as much every time. Several times did Chiyome herself depart to look for a certain disappeared student, often in vain. Sometimes she completed the mission herself when this occurred. Filled with adoration from her pupils, the life of Chiyome continued. Her husband died giving her no children, so her job at the village became the occupation of a lifetime. The ninja girl became famous, and as she was the one that trained all the kunoichi, she soon was referred to under a title… Mochizuki Chiyome, the First Kunoichi.
History is unsure of her exact ventures. However, as the leader of Takeda Shingen’s information network… She was one who saved her lord’s life many times by telling about the movements and plans of their enemies and also about their allies, as betrayals was about there may have been times when Shingen would not have wanted to believe Chiyome’s reports. Fortunately, turned out he did, as Shingen was never taken down that way. Sending out her girls, Chiyome could provide information on Kenshin, Nobunaga and other individuals from within their own lands. Alas, she would not be mentioned in any biography. You don’t speak of ninjas in biographies. In the end, she out-lived Shingen and continued her business past his death.
For a while, Chiyome’s life was sort of repetitive. She picked up new girls who were all seen as if they were saved from their past, to live new lives with the famous ninja-sensei. Training new ninja, creating relationships with every one of them, sending them out on deadly missions until one day the report of their death arrived… it was taking on her. But her patience shined through as she kept on working and kept her aura of well-being. However, in the end it all just became too much. Chiyome had developed this network from the ground up. Every time a female ninja did anything to anyone, Chiyome’s name would be the one they uttered. Never did they know if the one they killed had been her or not.
One day, Chiyome had decided to finish a mission which her pupil had failed to. However, that day she must have been very tired. She had forgotten to make sure the guard patrol was far away at the moment she struck the enemy. Alerted to her presence, the guards of the mansion immediately rallied and blocked her way to escape. Really… she must have been really tired that day. To have made such a basic mistake… Chiyome died, on a pathetic mistake that made the entire mansion conclude this could not be her. An anti-climatic end to a very famous individual. However, that is the end that await all ninja after a while. Mourning sounded loudly in her home village when they realized who was not coming back this time, and yet a ninja’s mourning would never be heard by history.
Even after her death, somebody who we’ll now never know the name of took up the village and carried it with the same grace as Chiyome had. In the end, the name Chiyome far survived the logical age-span of the person herself, until people had to admit that she no longer could be alive since it was so long ago that she had started her business. But, in that case, who was the one now leading the network of kunoichi still roaming around? They didn’t know. They just called the individual Mochizuki Chiyome.
MY GOALS: // Chiyome is proud of what she accomplished in her own life. However... There were a lot of ninja girls that Chiyome practically raised herself that never were allowed to be remembered by history or to follow her into death, simply due to being ninja. It was the only life she could give them, after all. If given a wish right now… she’s fully willing to use it to give knowledge of their existence to the world and allow them to follow her when they die, if but for the purpose of being reunited with all her cute pupils.
Chiyome wields a whole bunch of weapons she has trained with in her school as ranked weapons. As by the rules of Servant weapons she will be able to equip herself with these at any one time from nothingness, but once equipped they cannot be returned to nothing and will need to be brought along if Chiyome wish to use them again in another battle. The equipment will never be able to contend with the forces of other Noble Phantasms out there, but they will do for an Assassin. Items included are…
Two short staffs and one long wooden staff intent on being fought with. The staffs are hard and fast, many warriors of the staff used them for lightness and range which could beat a katana. These ninja-staffs are a bit special as they are made to possibly contain a poisonous dart to fling at the opponent to take them by surprise. If Chiyome faces anyone she needs to take by surprise, though, it is likely that the poison won’t work anyways.
A number of explosives of varying size and functions, such as small explosives constructed with bamboo and gunpowder to smoke grenades built to create a smokescreen to restrict sight capabilities. These grenades work roughly like ours, though can explode on contact or after a time limit. The explosions are, as can be guessed, quite dangerous.
Poisons, dangerous poisons brought with her from animals of the past with which Chiyome can cover her weapons with or slip into meals to poison her foes with. All of her weapons that are sharp can be naturally equipped with poison, and she can equip it on herself as well where she sees fit. Use of poison will drop Presence Concealment though, due to “intent to kill” purposes. Unfortunately for Chiyome, it will only serve to kill humans as Servants are generally too tough.
Two katanas of 70 cm. While swords of that kind were usually not the most favored weapons of the ninja, they were still in quite widespread use. Most ninja katanas were of low quality compared to those of the samurai due to differences in resources. These two, however, were stolen from samurai. Chiyome enjoys some privileges of having been a ninja-commander.
One 1,6 meter spear. Mostly to stab with and keep an enemy away in a tight quarter, Chiyome has been taught to handle this one quite well. Though, it might become rather useless in a battle between supernatural beings, since who cares about closed space. Still, she has it.
One large bow, bigger than her, with roughly thirty arrows which she can poison and snipe at targets over a large distance assuming she can see her target. She also has one smaller bow, intent on using on a shorter range with more accuracy and less space. Though, both of these are to be used when the enemy does not know she’s there or when the enemy has some distance left to meet her. Generally, the latter is the time when an Assassin should be fleeing. It should be noted that since Chiyome is not an Archer her aim or shooting power should not be expected to be as great as one's, however she's still quite capable.
A single strong naginata which is seen in the image above. It is a weapon that has been favored to train females in its use due to seeming grace and not all that much strength needed. Chiyome was trained in its use for battles outside of stealth, and could be considered her weapon of choice in battles outside of those of pure stealth.
One kusarigama for specialized circumstances which can also bind the opponent with the metal chain. The kusarigama is mainly a scythe with a long several meter metal chain ending with a metal weight on the end. The chain is constructed to bind enemy weapons and limbs while the scythe part does the cutting. A very dangerous weapon in skilled hands. And Chiyome is skilled.
A variety of throwing weapons including twenty shuriken, fifteen darts for her blowpipe, a high amount of small needles capable of being hidden throughout attires or hair and many small spikes Chiyome can either throw or spread over a surface making traversing difficult. The blowpipe can also be used as a snorkel.

The First Kunoichi: Infiltrator’s Wardrobe
Rank: E
Type: Support

The Kunoichi were famous for successfully infiltrating many an organization in order to achieve their goals. They acquired jobs as priestesses, maids, entertainers and prostitutes to get close to their targets. They were educated in each of these occupations and could masquerade as any of them without rousing suspicion. As the teacher of kunoichi, Chiyome spread this skill over all her students, and they as such successfully assassinated and gained info about many a target.
This Noble Phantasm allows the Assassin to change her designated uniform and appearance to whatever she likes without being thought weird by people. This is an infiltrator’s Noble Phantasm. Dressed in the appropriate attire, the Assassin can gain employment in the most unlikely of places and work her way in qualified uniform to the place where she is to kill her target without looking out-of-place. This Noble Phantasm allows Chiyome to change her appearance to fit the situation, although she cannot change her gender and she cannot copy the appearance of someone else, only somewhat change her own. It allows subtle manipulation of normals to gain temporary employment at different places after quick meetings with the staff managers. While under disguise, Chiyome will be making sure to take maximum advantage of her Presence Concealment to be as close to the targets as possible without raising any issue. She can whenever she wants throw the disguise and return to her standard shape, with the obvious consequences of that she will once again be sensed as normal.
It can also be otherwise used by Chiyome to dress herself up… however she likes. Hair, clothing, style… anyhow she likes it. As in, she does not have a single designated outfit she changes into, as other Servants does. She may customize how she would like it to look at any one time. Her favorite fighting-clothes are the ones shown in the image far above, and can be seen as her standard. It should however be noted that when actually putting this Noble Phantasm to work Chiyome will have to drop her Presence Concealment. When changing her outfit or manipulating someone she will be detectable the same way any Servant is, although when done changing or manipulating it will no longer be able to be sensed. Just think of it as the same concept as being caught in the changing-room, except Servant-style.

Mochizuki Chiyome was the commander of a large and infamous ninja-network which would supply her with information from many different locations across feudal Japan. This system was comprised by her students which she had trained herself and spread around on the command and use of their employer, Takeda Shingen. While Takeda was the one that experienced the advantages of the network, it was always under the use of Chiyome. It obeyed her orders. She just happened to obey Takeda’s orders. There is no doubt that this network was the property of the legend of Mochizuki Chiyome.
This is a conceptual Noble Phantasm which takes is shape after this network which Chiyome established. This Noble Phantasm allows Chiyome to deploy nodes charged with her prana. Deploying one takes roughly two seconds of focusing, but the Phantasm is specially made not to drop Presence Concealment while the node is deployed. These represent the students that this network once comprised of, but now they are reduced to a concept for gathering information. These nodes are capable of being deployed at any location, in midair or etched to a physical place. They are small phantoms of prana, incapable of movement, invisible to a normal eye. They can be sensed, but they all carry a neutral Presence Concealment to avoid such detection. Chiyome may deploy as many as she likes, however if she tries to widen the network too much the rank of Presence Concealment will be reduced. A single or two nodes will share Chiyome’s A Presence Concealment. From four on it will bring it down to B. Eight would bring it swiftly to C. After sixteen, the rank would be reduced to D. At thirty-two, Presence Concealment will be down to lowest possible, E. After that, deploying more will wane away any concealment at all and they will be visible to the plain eye, so Chiyome will not deploy that many. Not to mention too many will drain on her prana unnecessarily. If detected, the nodes are easily crushed by practically anything. It would for example be destroyed if someone stepped on it if Chiyome deployed one on the ground. Destruction of enough nodes will not increase Presence Concealment on those nodes already out there. Chiyome can remove them herself, but she needs to be within five meters unless she decides to throw a projectile at it.
When deployed, the nodes can be instructed to keep an eye out for certain things, such as a specific face, a certain kind of person or something in that direction. They hold “eyes”, as they see around them but are naturally unable to recognize properly the same way a human with 20-20 eyesight can, and obstructions may prevent the nodes from seeing. They can also detect prana-readings with limited ability, so they may notice if a Servant comes walking by and then check for potential Masters in the vicinity, maybe a rough 75 meter radius and more powerful a sensing ability the closer the source of the prana is and weaker further away. The nodes can send information to another node within a strict range on 150 meters, and should Chiyome be within range of one she may also be supplied with the information of all nodes connected by the range of one another in her network. The nodes store information they find interesting, and Chiyome can pick it up by coming into the range of the network. Only being passive watchers, the nodes can provide incorrect information and be fooled, but they can be immensely useful for learning the enemy’s location first and being able to track such individuals, which is invaluable to an Assassin.

Kouga-Ryuu Kunoichi School: School of Wayward Girls
Rank: C
Type: Support
Range: 10
Max Targets: 20
This is the school where Chiyome used to teach all her students the arts of ninjutsu. It is associated by many as merely the teaching ground of many killers, though it also served another legend. There is a legend about a female ninja who picked up girls abandoned by society with nowhere to go to take them to her school, where they could be safe for a while. Until their missions brought them into danger in the outside world this school gave them a feeling of being needed, a feeling of being safe. Not a single time in history has the school been recorded to have been attacked, all the girls could live here without fearing the outside world which lashed out against them. That is how this Noble Phantasm takes place, representing what for the students was a safe haven.
The school of Chiyome takes the form of a field which she can deploy. The field is created to serve as a safe haven; a place within you should not have to fear anything. The field masks the presence of those within, even should they be magi or Servants or anything else. Those looking at the field will only see how the place looks normally, showing the usual contents without displaying what Chiyome does not want to have displayed. It doesn’t stack up on Chiyome’s own Presence Concealment, but it does allow her to provide it to others. The field does not protect from others entering the field, and people within the field can sense others inside the field as normal, though Chiyome can hide herself as normal with Presence Concealment. Also, Chiyome will be able to sense the location of every person within her field, and act from the information it gives her. The hiding works in reverse, too. Only Chiyome can sense outwards, for the rest the entire world outside will be covered with Presence Concealment. A battle taking place within the field will only be hidden if the attacks are of a rank below the rank of the field (C).
As the property of a safe haven, there is a strange effect that can arise. People, mainly girls, who have found themselves in a great deal of trouble and with nowhere else to go and nobody to rely on might find themselves subconsciously seeking out the safe haven deployed by Chiyome. The effect has a very wide area of influence; any such person in the current city might be affected. Magi of at least average power will never be affected, they are not completely powerless. There is nothing in the air that the school outputs which could be detected. The individuals just somehow find their way there. Naturally, this could mean one could find one’s way to the safe haven by destroying the life of someone and then following the person as she makes her way towards the field. This makes keeping Chiyome’s identity and the properties of her field secret a priority.
The field can cover roughly 1000 cubic meters of space, roughly a three-story building, thought the larger size the more it will take on Chiyome. The field can be customized to for example exactly fit a number of rooms in a building without touching other rooms should it be needed. To set it up, Chiyome will need to know exactly how the place should look and then focus for a number of minutes. Chiyome can freely leave the safe haven without it disappearing when she does, though she’ll get a signal if someone enters her field. To remove the field, Chiyome merely needs to command it to disappear, wherever she is. The field will simply disappear, the effects vanishing along with it.

CLASS ABILITIES: //
Presence Concealment
Rank: A
Description: Presence Concealment is the capacity to hide one’s presence as a Servant. It is a common skill to the Assassin class. It is possible to disappear almost completely and be very hard to detect. However, efficacy will decrease once preparations to attack are taken. It should be noted that even should the Servant be sensed the location could be very difficult to localize. This effect takes place regardless if Chiyome is materialized or not.
SKILLS: //
Expert of Many Specializations
Rank: C
Description: In order to blend into society wherever they are needed, kunoichi are trained to do whatever they are needed to do. In order to get the jobs that bring them closest to their targets, they also need the skills to get that job. As such, the kunoichi is skilled in all manners of things. House-keeping, acting, perform rituals, anything they are needed to do next. Of course, there are always the subjects that just… can’t be done. Also, a ninja is trained in horsemanship, knowledge of killing strikes and vital points, camouflage, hand-to-hand combat, swimming, medicine and poison, stealth and espionage, running and jumping techniques, geography and meteorology as well as techniques to maintain mental calmness and awareness. Useful things.
Projectiles
Rank: C
Description: Countless small projectiles stashed away within a kunoichi’s attire. Poisoned darts launched by blow-pipes, throwing stars collected about and other sharp items which could be thrown in a tactical enough way to hit enemies. Ninja’s were highly trained in this art, and their aim with these items would stun a normal human, and kill the normal target. Using her bow, Chiyome can also shoot on rather large distances with pretty good accuracy, if needed.
Disengage
Rank: B
Description: If there is anything Chiyome definitely can, it is getting away. Combining her smoke explosives with Presence Concealment Chiyome is capable of seemingly almost completely disappearing on the spot without the enemy at all being capable of sensing the direction she went when she has decided to leave the site. There will be greater trouble if she has to carry her Master, but in all honesty she will still be quite capable.
Teacher
Rank: B
Description: Mochizuki Chiyome was an experienced and excellent teacher of many ninja. Using this ranked skill, she can train and teach the skills of a ninja to students at a seemingly unnatural pace. Students may find their muscle memory picking things up extraordinarily fast and becoming deadly ninja very quickly. A student may become a prepared ninja in roughly five days. However, depending on how willful a student is, it may take more time and it may take even less. A teacher cannot successfully teach someone who isn’t willing to learn, after all. The skills she can teach are all only skills humans are capable of, and as such will still be defeated by experienced fighters. Teaching cannot rival true experience, after all. It should also be noted that they will only become adequate, to become superb it would need more time than available within this war.

MISC. INFORMATION: // … Gee. I don’t even know if they have school-uniforms in Italy. I just… happened to have a lot of images that could fit Chiyome in that apartment. Haha.
I slightly regret making her death what it was, but since there is no record of her death anywhere so I have to assume something like that. It was that or dying by old age. I find a mistake to be more... easy to build a character from. Hihi.
... Does that "Teacher" skill really work like that? I mean... um... uh. Ah, well. I won't be complaining.
