The office was plain and spartan, a few drawers and a simple desk. Sitting down on a chair, you begin to talk.
After telling what happened, minus, of course, the bits about the strange voice, Jin sat in silence.
"Of course, this means we'll need another pilot. Lt. Keiri certainly proved herself well, and she will join under Getter-2 from now on."
You might want to argue, however, you feel too tired to do so.
"For this other pilot, though, we'll have to find a new one.
You might think about the other two, but Jonathan refused, and will be piloting his own mech. As for Allen, we don't know if he wants to, but he hasn't show any inclination or want. We've prepared a mech for him too, just in case.
So, I'll ask you this. We need to find the third pilot. Your action bade us enough time to prepare for an counter attack, but we need the Shin Getter. The question is, would you want to help us, or leave the recruiting to us?"
You ponder. If you leave the recruiting to the military, you won't have any control on who goes on that third seat. However, finding a replacement will take time, time you can use for other things.
[]Let them handle it. []Get involved.

A.) Getting involved in their selection process sounds suspiciously like not getting hammered and setting things on fire with Allen. And really, even alien squid invasions you must fight with giant fucking robots aren't as cool as getting drunk and committing arson.
Oh, you can also use that time to check up on the sisters. Just do it before you get drunk or they might get lit on fire.

(short post for long break)
"I'd rather not." Not after what happened, you thought.
Captain Jin nods. "Well, not that I would blame you." Standing up, he picked up his phone, said a few words, and nods towards me. "Right, we'll be quite busy, so feel free to roam around."
You go outside. Right, to good old Alf. After a bit of asking around you learn that you people were assigned rooms in the nearby military building. You go to Alf's room, and knock.
No answer.
Well, you have no idea where is he. So, what do we do?
A.) Look around in the building, I'm sure he's there. B.) Snoop around in the restricted areas. It's a military base, sure as hell it's got a restricted area. C.) Fuck this I'm off to bed.

B.) How else would we find out that our mecha is actually powered by the blood of orphan babies and the only reason the squids are attacking us is to recover their young? We need a dramatic reveal that leads to John questioning the entire basis of his life!

You nod. Yes, indeed, there should be some sort of secret they're guarding here. You follow this whim of yours and set out on a dangerous journey with no reason at all.

Walking through the base in the middle of the night, the base is strangely vacant. The nightsky shining with stars, and the eerie grasshopper noises, you really feel alone. Where's the soldiers...? With no sign of life anywhere besides the HQ building itself, you easily wander around the base and quickly memorize the layout of the base. After a round, you surmise that there is indeed no sign of activity beyond the HQ and the hospital.
Out of all the buildings, camps, offices, and tents one stands out. Well, it's not exactly a building, but more like a bunker. Strangely, however, there's no guards, drones, hell, not even a security camera. Just a door with a sign that says, "Keep Out".
And we all know how well that shit works, doesn't it?
"Locked. Typical." You mutter. You force open the door. No dice either. You look around for a keypad or a scanner or something. Strange, there's not one.
You try the back, but to your dismay, there's no other entrance but that door.
However, as you turn back to go at the front, you see a dark silhouette approaching the bunker. You try to get out of sight. When the lights revealed who the person truly is, to your suprise, it's Alf!

(I forgot his name was Allen. Shit.)
You silently call out to Allen. "Hey"
He look a bit surprised, perhaps even annoyed at the sight of you. However, he quickly changes his expression to his usual cheery, if not a bit creepy, smile. "Hey, champ. What are you doing here?"
"What are YOU doing here?" was your reply.
He shrugged. "Hmm...research, I guess?"
"Then call me your assistant researcher, then."
"Hahaha, very good!" Allen laughed heartily. He mentioned you closer, which you did. "See that door? That shit is strong. But not strong enough for this." He took out something from his behind. A black glove with weird green dots and lines.
"What's that?" You ask with curiosity.
"This? This is one cool ass glove." He grabbed the door and effortlessly opened it, no, more like he wrenched the door open.
"Uhh...I don't think you should be doing that."
He turned his head back at you. "John. You shouldn't stay here for long. Shit's about to get real". His eyes narrowed. "Yes...real." He walked inside the bunker, disappearing within the shadows.
"Hey! Allen!" You shout, and quickly try to follow. Shit, it's dark. "Allen?! Where the fuck...?" You bump into something metal. Fuck.
You whistle. Total darkness. You can't do shit here. You resolve to turn back to find a flashlight or something, but to your surprise, the door was closed behind you!
"Oh, shitbuckets."
You try to find your way in the darkness. Hopefully you won't fall into hidden holes or stairways. Luckily though, you remember that you have a phone, and light up the place.
Place looks abandoned, shit. You don't know which way you came, though, and decided to start randomly following corridors and opening doors, hoping to find the entrance.
Then as you opened your fifth door, you hear a gunshot.
"Fuck." You mutter. "Hello? I'm a friendly!"
Silence. You frantically search with your phonelight.
Another shot, this time, hitting your phone. Now you can't see shit.
"Dammit! Dammit! Damm-" A something hit you on the head. Your head hurts...ow. You got floored, sprawling.
You frantically look around. Shit, shit, shit. Then sounds of struggle. Furniture tossed here and there...
You keep on looking.
Then you saw it.
A thin sliver of light. A door, perhaps? You crawl towards it, hoping not to be noticed by the gun guy.
As you reached it, you quickly put your hands to the knob, only to hear another shot, missing you by centimeters.
"Go, go inside, quick! I can't hold him off much longer!" Allen's voice.
You quickly turn the knob and go inside. The door slammed behind you. Fuck! You can't get it to open.
You look around for the source of light.
A huge test tube, just like in the games and in the movies, was the culprit. Fuck, all besides some computing computers.
You find a suspicious red button.
a.) Push it. b.) Not push it
What will you-push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it push it
Your head hurts...it's painful. You follow your instinct and push the button. Then...
"Fuck. Have they reached here so quickly? And without warning? Looks like whatever we're using isn't effective."
The command center was buzzing with soldiers and what not. Normally this place is abandoned as shit, but the past 24 hours changed that.
"Captain Tries Jaime. " A pink haired girl is whispering to you. "That's your name for now, Casval."
You nod silently. You are now Captain Tries Jaime of the United Earth Sphere. "What do I pilot?" You silently speak.
"Your choice. The hangar's waiting. Have fun, Casval."
"It's Jaime." You nod, and return to your "duties".
You go to the hangar, and find three beauties. Hard to choose now, innit?
1.) Choose the Heavy Weapon Custom II, allowing moar dakka and fucking armor. 2.) Choose Blue Zero MS type, allowing fast speed and maneuverability 3.) Nightingale suits you. Fuck yeah, funnels!
