PERSONALITY: //
- Innocent
- Having been born sheltered from the world of Knights and all that comes with it, Percival entered full of nothing but an innocence that was nearly as strong as Galahads. When she first encountered Knights, she inquired about all there was to be known about them, believing them to be angels. She started her journey to knighthood initially naive and foolish, Believing her actions to be Chivalrous and Just when they were reckless and caused more trouble. As she attained more experience as a knight, and matured, This trait lessened, but she still holds a hint of Naivete that had made her an excellent Candidate to hunt for the grail.
- Chivalrous
- Though she her own interpretation of the knights code is different from others, She still follows the code of honor that has dictated the actions of Knights for ages. She is forever loyal to her King and fellow knights and acts in his name. The young knight respects and honors woman as well, Having initiated a feud with Sir Kay when he struck a maiden who was prophesied to smile only when a great knight would visit Camelot, that knight being Percival. She struggles with the remaining spheres, however, being born as a simple farm girl, She never got into the habit of practicing cleanliness or proper courtesy, often acting like a brute as most Welsh were known for being back in that day. Despite these flaws, she is a good soul with nothing but the best of intentions.
- Thick Headed
- Percival is, if anything, stubborn, brutish, and brash. This is balanced with her purely good intentions. She was so set at first on becoming a knight, that she misinterpreted the knights code entirely when it was relayed to her. This caused her to bring great harm to another woman, whom she had stolen a precious ring from and taken food and drink from the woman's lord. It was unintentional of course, with her believing that what she was doing was the right thing. This trait shows in her ability to understand orders and may cause issues between her and a master.
- Optimistic
- Percival is the definition of a blazing optimist, being the type of character to cheer on his fellow knights, and befriend just about anyone. Just about the only knights she has ever confronted was Sir Kay for striking a woman. She's friendly and up-beat, which being combined with the cultural knowledge given from the Grail, makes for an interesting attitude towards others, as she'll drop the civil archaic tone common in knights for the common verbal tics of the modern age and slang.

WEAKNESSES: //Parsifal isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. In fact, she could be compared to the modern ages air-head. She is also limited in her knightly skills by her class. Her ability to use the spear is lessened. Her naivete leaves her weak against deception and it is recommended that her master be the tactician.

MY HISTORY: //
Parsifal was born to a long line of great and honorable knights. Her father was the great king Pellinore, Descendant of Joseph of Arimathea, Who's line was destined to guard the Grail. Her brothers were the knights Sir Aglovale, Sir Lamorak and Sir Dornar, and by his father's affair with a peasant woman he also had a half-brother named Sir Tor. However, Though great they were, Her father and brothers fell to their occupational hazards, leaving her and her mother alone.
Using what remained of their wealth, Parsifal's mother brought them to a secluded estate in the forests of Wales, where the young girl was brought up utterly ignorant of court life and Knights. Her mother feared that should her daughter be involved in such things, that she would meet the same fate as her other children. Parsifal grew up as a common peasant would, though she developed the interests of boys rather than girls. She would often go out hunting, becoming adept in using throwing spears. It would be her love of hunting that would undo all that her mother had done.
On a day like any other, Parsifal left her home to hunt deer, a smile on her innocent face as she tracked her quarry. She discovered a series of tracks that she had not recognized before as she hunted. it didn't take long for her to find the source of the tracks, and be overwhelmed by what she saw. Three knights in shimmering armor were trotting along the trail to the nearest town. The girl was so awed by the knights that she began to bow before them, believing them to be angels sent from god. She then ran up to them, curiosity deigning that she learn everything to be known about these beings.
The knights had been sent from the court of King Arthur to track down a rogue knight of the court. This knight had stolen apples from the royal orchard and it was by the lead knight, Owain that he was to be detained and brought to justice. Their pursuit brought them to the lands that Parsifal called home, and they rode close to her home. She ran ahead of them and jumped in their path, skipping introductions and spilling forth questions without restraint.
When the Knights took notice of her, two of them wished to send her off, believing her to be nothing more than a Welsh simpleton, but Owain saw use in her, and found amusement as she asked questions after question, not even waiting for the answers. She asked him about everything they wore, their shields, their swords, their armor, and each time, the kind knight answered her question and each time, he asked her a question. She never answered his question though, for she was awed by a new detail of their person and asked a new question after her previous one was answered. Eventually there were no more questions for her to ask, and the kind knight was finally able to ask his.
The knights were pleased to hear that their quarry would most likely have fled to a nearby town, and Owain thanked the young girl before riding off with his compatriots. The enlightened Parsifal immediately returned home afterwards. Her mother was ever pleased to see her return, but her face of happiness would be clouded with horror when her daughter began to ask of knights. She regretfully answered the questions that Parsifal asked, explaining Chivalry, and court life to her naive daughter. It was then that Parsifal decided that she would become a knight herself.
Reluctantly, Parsifal's mother conceded to her daughters wishes, and told her of the knightly order which her father served in. She pointed her in the direction of Camelot, and told her the rules of Chivalry once again, as well as a few pieces of advice on her travels. The most prominent piece of advice was to never ask questions. With these words in mind, Parsifal took a horse and rode off towards Camelot. Her journey would be long, but she was finally on the path to her destiny as one of Britain's greatest knights.
On her journey, Parsifal came across the camp of an unknown lord, and taking heed of advice from her mother, she stopped to partake in their hospitality, for she was hungry and thirsty after a long start to her journey. She entered the tent of the lord to find it occupied only be a woman. Parsifal, who had misinterpreted the meaning of her mothers advice, Did three things in that tent. She took food and drink without permission, distressing the maiden who was the lords lover. The second was taking a ring from a lady, having been told that a lady would give a knight a jewel, but failing to understand it's true meaning. The third, and most heinous of her acts was stealing a kiss from the maiden, for she was told to take a kiss from a maiden if given, of course, misinterpreting advice again. The young knight then reassured the maiden, who cried after what had been done, and left the tent. The lord would return to be relayed what had transpired, and in his rage, humiliated the maiden further.
Parsifal continued on her journey, reaching Camelot in a matter of weeks. When she entered the courtyard, she did so in such a brazen fashion to attract the attention of all the knights of Camelot. She asked to see King Arthur, seeking knighthood. An outraged Kay, who saw her as nothing but an arrogant peasant girl that insulted them all, was ready to strike the girl down. However, a maiden who looked upon Parsifal smiled at her, and caused a stir when she did, for it was foretold that she would only smile when she laid eyes on a great future knight. This enraged Kay, and he struck the girl down. Parsifal was angered by this clear disregard for Chivalry and was ready to challenge Kay to a dual when King Arthur stopped the conflict.
Arthur looked upon Parsifal and questioned her purpose in coming to Camelot. When the young girl claimed she wished to become a knight, Arthur was taken aback, but did not say no. Rather, the king
Parsifal called out to the Vermillion Knight and challenged him to a duel. The knight stared upon the girl who dared challenge him, and took it as a deep insult. He decided to put the girl in her place. This would be his final mistake. The Knight struck at Parsifal multiple times with a sheathed blade, each strike failing to hit it's mark. Parsifal was swift, and an innocent grin played across her face as the man genuinely tried to hurt her. It eventually came to the point where the man gave into rage and drew his blade, Trying to cleave Parsifal in two. That's when she took her chance and struck the man down in his opening, Wounding but not killing him. After the battle, She had the dishonored knight give his armor to her as well as his sword and horse.
Parsifal, having completed her task, was now a Knight of the Round Table as Arthur had promised her. This meant many things for her now. She was recognized as a knight by her fellow compatriots, some reluctantly and some with open arms, but she would never be recognized by the lords of the kingdom. So with a heavy heart, Arthur was forced to send his new knight away, ever serving her lord outside the walls of Camelot. Parsifal did not fret though. In fact, the young knight was eager to serve her lord and left before she even had time to take her seat that the table.
Parsifal had many journeys throughout Britain, but the one that would set her on the path to destiny was her first encounter with the Fisher King. As Parsifal rode along one day, she came across an old castle that stood atop a great seaside cliff. Parsifal, out of her natural curiosity, rode towards this castle and upon entering, found herself welcomed by a court of men and woman as if they expected her. Parsifal accepted their hospitality, drinking their wine and eating their food before she was presented to the Fisher King.
The Fisher king was an old man, who did nothing but favor a wound at his side as he spoke to Parsifal. He welcomed her to his court, and presented three things to her. One was a spear that was said to never be able to break, except for by one thing that only it's creator knew of. The Fisher King gifted this spear unto Parsifal, claiming that it would serve her in the days to come. The second was another spear, this one dripping with blood of an unknown person. The young knight did not ask who's blood was on the spear, following the advice of her mother not to ask questions. The final thing presented was a cup held be a young maiden. The cup's contents glowed an ethereal color that captivated all that stared upon it. Parsifal also failed to ask what this vessel was. That night, Parsifal slept in the castle, unknowing of the pain and disappointment that swelled within the Fisher King.
The next morning, Parsifal awoke to find the castle devoid entirely of life. She searched the castle, but found no man or woman. She left confused, riding out of the castle only to have it disappear behind her as if it was never there. She left this strange place, the spear gifted to her being the only proof she had that she was there. The next day, Parsifal visited a church to confess the events that had transpired in the Fisher Kings court. The priest scolded her, telling her that her mistake was not asking the Fisher King what the spear and cup meant. She left the chapel in shame, her failure ever-present on her conscious.
After many journeys, Parsifal finally reunited with King Arthur and the rest of the knights. It was Gawain who recruited her to join the knights on their quest for the holy Grail. Though Parsifal came close to achieving the grail during this quest, she was never able to obtain it. It wasn't until the coming of Sir Galahad that she would step into her role as one of the three great Grail Knights. She, Sir Bors, and Sir Galahad journeyed together to find the grail. The three companions became great friends as they journeyed together, and it was at the end of their journey that Parsifal's destiny came in full circle. When the three knights stood in the court of the Fisher King, Parsifal for the second time, It was revealed to her that she was a descendant of the Fisher King, and that it was her role to watch over the Grail when his time had come. Despite the knowledge that she would have to commit her life to the grail, she and the other knights healed the Fisher King.
After the journey, The tragedy of separation plagued the three companions. Only Bors would be allowed to return to King Arthur's court and be hailed a hero. Galahad died soon after his triumph, entrusting the Grail to Parsifal, the rightful watcher of the grail. She took the holy vessel and went into the deepest forests of Britain, where she lived out her says as it's keeper. She died content in her life, knowing that she served her lord properly, and brought glory to her fallen family.
MY GOALS: //
Parsifal desires the grail so that she might rejoin her companions of the round table, rather than be doomed to watch over the Holy Grail for the rest of her days. She misses the times in which she fought side by side with her fellow knights, Serving her lord from afar. Her one regret is never being able to return to Camelot after the Grail quest.

The Sword of the Fisher King
Rank: B
Type: Support
Range: 1-20
Max Targets: 1
this sword was presented to Percival by the Fisher King during her first visit. The king had her use it as a way to test her strength by slashing at an iron pole three times. Each time, The blade and the pole broke and Percival had to piece the blade back together, where it would magically reforge itself. However, after the third strike, the blade would not reforge itself. The Fisher King explained that Percival had unlocked two thirds of her strength and was destined to become the greatest swordsman in the land. It wasn't until much later in Percival's story that the blade had finally been reforged by Galahad in their quest for the grail. When it was, The lands of the Fisher King healed as the blade did, being able to sustain life as well as Percival could swing with the blade. Percival wielded this blade till the end of her days, using it to defend and heal the lands she watched over as the keeper of the grail.
This sword is her weapon of choice and is incapable of breaking from ordinary attacks, however it has another function which serves as it's true purpose.
When the true power of the blade is invoked, It radiates a light with a gradual rank B healing effect on those that the light is shined upon, the healing rate increasing as the target is closer in proximity to the blade.
The effect has a wide range of wounds it can heal, including curses, poisons, and standard wounds. The sword can heal any of the aforementioned maladies of B rank or lower.
The required amount of time for the healing effect is influenced by range and Rank of the wound. Normal attacks of any rank can be healed, E rank attacks being healed instantaneous, and the time increasing by five seconds per rank, (Another three seconds added for ever + on this rank.). The time required is shortened by a second for every five feet closer to the sword the target is. These rules apply to curses and poisons as well, except that they can only be healed up to Rank B.
The same effect can be demonstrated on structures and land, reversing terrain effects and restoring areas to their previous condition.
