I know what you're thinking. No really, I know what your reaction was when you first saw the name to this profile. Didn't I say a while back I was going to actually put him in the RP?
Now, while I have you here, this Tetsuro Yochi is different to the cbox version. You know how in the original F/SN, that Taiga and Ilya in the Dojo are different from the ones in the actual story? That's what I'm doing with Tetsuro here. No crazy Tiger powers, since here, he's a completely normal human. So rest assured, I'm not going to be putting anything in terms of magic and whatnot here.
Excuse all typos, I type quite fast.

Tetsuro is one of the best friends a person could have. His caring and concerning nature for his friends assures them that they have someone who they can easily turn to for help, whatever the problem may be. His determination and devotion to his tasks and practicions shows how devoted he is as well as showing his reliability. Also, being from another country, he openly talks about Japanese culture, especially about the art of Kendo. It's not that hard to tell that he's a very well known and popular student at school.
WEAKNESSES: //
While he cares about Miguel a lot, it does tend to go overboard at times, especially if it involves a misunderstanding. He just doesn't want to see him get hurt or do something stupid, but he should learn to stop being so concerned about his wellbeing and should know that Miguel can easily take care of himself. There are also times where he can be a bit clumsy, as always seen in science class. It's quite the usual occurence where he will stuff up in class, whether it be setting the room on fire, or by blowing something up, all by accident. He prefers tech studies anyway, where he's far less clumsy and much more focused.

Tetsuro Yochi was born to Mamoru Yochi, a Japanese man and Anne Brighto, an English woman and grew up in a Japanese town, simply called Mukato Town along with his older brother, Manabu. Mamoru, whose real name is Kazumitsu, was a well renowned Kendo practicioner and Tetsuro would always go with him to the Dojo to watch him practice or fight against an opponent. Needless to say, when he was older, he took up Kendo and enjoyed it very much. He even used to practice against much older opponents, even though he was going to lose. That was how he earned the nickname 'Atom', because of his age and height at the time.
His favourite animal is the Tiger, which came about from an interesting experience involving one escape from the Mukato Zoo at night. Normally he wouldn't walk home in the dark alone, but the circumstances at the time had lead up to such a case. At first, he was scared, but this tiger was known for it's friendliness and had only escaped because of extremely unfortunate circumstances. It didn't attack or harm him and even let him pat it. The best part was when it let him hop on his back and carried him all around town. Eventually the fun stopped when the police found him and the tiger, but luckily, thanks to some careful negotiations by Tetsuro,
they didn't harm it and safely lead it back to the zoo. Since then, he's considered the tiger to be the best animal in the world.
Throughout to the end of Junior High, Tetsuro went to a high school called Takenadashi Academy. His grades were okay, but he stood out in the Kendo Club and on the Student Council. In his Junior High years, he began to develop another fascination, which was machines and the sound of them. It would be anything, from the air conditioning plants to the giant factory he always walked past on his way to school. There was a period of time where he considered getting a job there, but was talked out of it by his mum and his classmates.
He only knew his brother, Manabu, for a few years, before he had to go overseas. A common tradition from his mother's side of the family was that their sons would go overseas to live with another relative, study and learn new culture, etc. Manabu was sent to Britain to live with Anne's sister, Aunt Mary. Tetsuro hasn't heard from Manabu since then, but plans to see him one day. After finishing Junior High, Tetsuro and his parents had a discussion about what was going to happen with him. He was to be sent to Lucca, Italy to live with his uncle, Daniel. Reluctant at first, he agreed if he could go back home after finishing the rest of his education in Italy. He already knew English from Junior High and hoped to learn more in his new (temporary) home.
Living with Dan Brighto was alright. He was funny, nice and a bit random at times. When it came to choosing a school, the first option was Instituto Privato di Nostra Signora Flora, a private school, with a huge discount for foreign students. While at first he was excited about going to a private school, those feelings were quickly washed away. The number of rich, posh students and foreingers was dissapointingly huge and it was difficult, if not impossible to find anyone 'normal' in the school. Not to mention the subjects were mind numbingly boring. At the end of the day, he hated it so much that when he was asked about becoming a full time student there, he immediately told them to get stuffed.
The only other option was Mariano del Rinascimento Scuola, a public school which catered for the general public. This school was more to his liking. There wasn't as many rich, posh people there and the subjects were more to his liking, especially Tech Studies, which became his favourite subject after one class. His decision to join this public school raised a few eyebrows, as normally foreign students were snapped up by the Institute's huge tuition discounts. It wasn't long before he gained popularity in the school, not just for being Japanese, but for someone who would do something most students would be all too afraid to do, public speaking. Whether it was in assemblies, sports carnivals, the like. Not only did he save those less willing the trouble, but he did it with enthusiasm, which put a positive impression on the students and the teachers. He also tries to get the school to compete against the Institute to try and prove that Mariano is a far better school than some silly, posh infested private school.
Kendo did not end when he got to Italy. He created a club at Mariano, first called the Kendo Club, but eventually it branched out from simply being a kendo club to a sword-based practice group as well as a general activities/community service club, called the 31st Light Brigade by the students, simply because it 'sounded awesome.' At this time, the Brigade consists of 10 members including Tetsuro, all having some profession with sword based weapons, though most are fencers. When not practicing these, the club helps out in the community, to boost not only their reputation, but the schools reputation as well, though this is one of Tetsuro's plans to 1-up the Institute and so far, it's working very well.
One day, he decided to do something that wasn't done before. Befriend the school loner, Miguel Luria-Nova. He was curious as to why this guy had no friends, or anyone to talk to as he always sat alone whenever he saw him. The first discussion was rather awkward, but Tetsuro had to push further to get the truth out of him. The more Tetsuro spoke to him, the more Miguel opened up. Eventually, Miguel started going over to him, when asked why, he said 'because I have nothing to do' but that wasn't the real answer. The real answer, which was later revealed when Tetsuro believed that there was more to Miguel than he previously thought, was that Tetsuro reminded him of his older, missing brother, Pedro. The two are still friends, with Tetsuro visiting Miguel's house every day, just to see how he's doing and all. Why does he do this? Miguel is the person Tetsuro cares for the most, since he has no other friends and lives kind of a dull life in his opinion. With his help, he plans to change all that.
Tetsuro continues to do well in high school, while practicing Kendo with his self-made weapon 'Nobukami', working with his club, hanging with Miguel and trying to make Mariano more popular than the Institute. Hopefully he won't get caught up in the impending and extremely dangerous Holy Grail War.
MY GOALS: // To do the best he can in high school, to become a successful Kendo practicioner and to make sure Miguel does alright in school.[/blockquote]
Nobukami
The Shinai was initially suggested by Kamiizumi Nobutsuna, a well known swordsman in Japan. It was an idea for a weapon to replace real swords and bokken in matches. Shinai is the main weapon used in Kendo, a modern Japanesese martial art of sword fighting. Instead of metal or wood, Shinais use dried bamboo, which can bend, flex and even break. Nobukami is a special Shinai and is Tetsuro's weapon of choice.
Roll back to the beginning of his high school education in Italy. Tetsuro was worried about the use of a regular Shinai to defend himself, as it wouldn't be strong enough to take down several thugs without breaking. Shinais are expensive to purchase and hard to get in Italy, unless you have to go a long way. His solution? Make a custom Shinai, one that used wood for the slats, as well as having a solid metal core to increase durabilityand to stop the inside of the Shinai being hollow. It is 120cm long, just like a regular adult sized Shinai would be. Despite it being heavier than a normal Shinai, Tetsuro can handle it with ease. He also painted it to distinguish it from a standard Shinai. The slats are gold while the tip, naka-yui and handle are black. The name Nobukami comes from Kamiizumi Nobutsuna, see above.
It is obviously inapplicable for Kendo Tournaments, being heavier and more dangerous. He usually carries in his clothing, with the handle sticking out of the collar. Other times he'd carry it inside a special case, which he would wear on his back. To carry it to school, there were a lot of negotiations between him and staff, but eventually he was allowed to carry it with him to school, as long as he did not use it for offensive, violent purposes, but it was alright to have him show it to people, only if he doesn't use it inappropriately and hit someone with it, accidentally or intentionally.
EXPERTISE: //
Kendo - A very proficient practicioner, Tetsuro continues to practice the martial art of kendo, which he has been practicing since he was 6 years old. It is the main thing he has brought over from Japan, since he believes he shouldn't stop, just because he had changed location. The practice he does and the determination he has while in a match shows he is a very formidable opponent. It is more than likely that he is the only one in his school who not only knows Kendo, but also one who has mastered it to a great extent.
Technology Studies - His favourite subject and aside from Kendo, one of the subjects he does outstanding at, especially with Woodwork and Metalwork. It was with this that he perfected his custom-made shinai, not to mention finishing other projects along the way. Not only is he fascinated with this subject, but he also believes it will help improve his concentration when getting down to the more difficult parts of it. His favourite tools are the MIG welder (which, incidentally, is where he coined Miguel's nickname from, as they are both in the same tech class), the Oxy-Acetylene welder and the woodwork lathes.
Public Speaking - This is where you see most of the enthusiasm from Tetsuro, and one of the main reasons why he became one of the most popular students at Mariano del Rinascimento Scuola. His skills of public speaking are unmatched, compared to the other students, who would be either too nervous to try, or just don't have the zest and enthusiasm like Tetsuro does. The amount he puts into it shows how much spirit he has for school, life, his comrades and for the future.

- Devotion
- He will always commit to whatever he is supposed to be doing when he's supposed to. One who does not quit easily, he puts all of his effort in to make sure he accomplishes whatever task he is doing. His high school grades and his continued practice of Kendo are well known examples of this.
- Irrational
- While he does act mature when it's about an important subject, at times, he can, say, get extremely aggressive when something is not right at all and he wants answers or go over the top to prove a point. Such irrationality is usually brought on by a misunderstanding thought the wrong way. This is a rare side which is not usually seen, due to misunderstandings not happening often at a scale where he would go off his rocker.
- Caring
- He considers those who are friends, people who mean a lot to him. He will look out for them and check up on them once in a while. Sometimes he might act as if he's their father or something, but he just wants to make sure they don't fall into a heap of trouble, whether it's at school or in their private lives. The biggest example of this is his friendship with Miguel, as he (Tetsuro) acts like an older brother to him (Miguel), at times, concerned about his social life and wellbein, more so than his other friends. He hopes that every one of his friends does well in school, as well as see that they don't fall victim to any bad situations that might happen to them.
- Contemplative
- A side to him which is even rarer to be seen. A moment where he would just stare at the sky and look back on life, the past and what might happen in the future. If left alone, he would be competely silent, but when asked, he will explain what's on his mind at the time. He doesn't mind sharing his thoughts, as he believes it's better to talk to someone, rather than keep things secret, even though he only speaks about such things when moments like this occur. It's at times like these where one will get to find out more about his past, himself, and what sort of person he really is.
