Solomon is one of the few kings who actually show their experience in looks. Long, blonde hair, with matching facial hair are the first things you'd notice about him. His wrinkled face and and eyes show wisdom far beyond his years. His skin is fair, and his stature is quite imposing, and proper. In a way, one feels a sense of superiority that just exudes from him. He's not really ripped, but he is in very good shape, as were most people during his time, back when labor was manual, and not handled by some contraption.
Normally, Solomon prefers wearing a purple robe with sandles, representing royalty, topped off by an extremely luxurious golden crown, jewels embedded throughout the whole thing. But, he is not stupid, and for this era, he no longer dons such a thing save when revealing himself in the midst of a battle. Rather, when with his Master, and actually in his true form, he wears a lab coat of sorts with a scarf, as to him, this attire, worn by people of high intelligence, symbolizes wisdom. Thus, he finds it fitting.
Did I mention True Form? Why yes, I did. You see, because he is such a famous hero, Solomon goes to rather... extreme lengths to keep other Masters off his trail. Being a Caster, he has a spell in that grimoire of his that allows him to mess with his appearance, allowing him to take on a much more youthful appearance. In this form, his hair is much shorter, only down to his neck, and his facial hair is gone. The wrinkles disappear as well, and he introduces himself as a man named "Nightmare Darklight". That's not all.
He dresses in an extremely awkward manner. His attire consists of a dark trenchcoat which covers most of his body. He has two black gloves on both his hands, which are actually more gauntlets than gloves. On his legs are dark black pants, suited for combat situations, allowing him to move his legs freely for speed and agility. He wears two pitch-black boots, which are supposedly designed for all terrain. To compliment it all, he wears a long blood red scarf, reaching down to his ankles, which tends to flow behind him quite often.
Why such a ridiculous outfit? Simple; it makes no sense, whatsoever. He gets a different sword in disguise. It's to completely confuse the enemy. Any Master with a brain could tell that "Nightmare Darklight" is a completely bogus name, and that no hero of that name comes anywhere close to existing. However, such a ridiculous name means that there's no way to pinpoint the region Solomon comes from. The sword is meant to imply that Solomon is in fact, a class that he really isn't. And the aforementioned bad sense of fashion while in disguise? It's meant to be completely anarchistic, so an enemy master wouldn't even be able to pinpoint the time period that Solomon comes from. In short, he has put up barrier after barrier appearance wise to keep the disguise up.

The Good
- Wise
- This is more or less a duh. Solomon prayed to God for Wisdom, and it was granted. Solomon is extremely wise, and if a problem is presented to him, he will do his best to give the advice needed (and said advice will more often than not be pretty good)
- Benevolent
- Solomon does wish for the best, and tries to be as righteous as he can. So long as they do not oppose them, Solomon will always be looking out for their welfare.
- Ambitious
- Boy is he ever. If he wants something, he will do whatever it takes in order to get it. He simply will not stop until he has it. So in a way, you could say this doubles as determination as well.
- Polite
- Solomon is very well mannered. As a King, he is meant to be well mannered. He will not interrupt, he will not insult, he will be pleasant, and will make sure he is very proper with others.
- Martial Pacifist
- Despite being in a Holy Grail War, Solomon will never be the first to attack. He will fight if it's defending himself or another, but he will never be the aggressor. Well, most of the time. A highly disrespectful person might end up incurring his wrath.
The Bad
- Proud
- Normally, pride would be a good thing. However, whenever Solomon has showed pride, something bad has always accompanied it. The biggest case of this resulting in the death of 40000 men. Nevertheless, he feels great pride, which leads to...
- Easily Ashamed
- Pride before the fall. It it not difficult at all to make Solomon feel guilt over his actions, no matter how minor they were. While he'll mope for minor mistakes, major ones, like the death of the 40000 mentioned above, tend to cause a complete emotional shutdown.
- Easily Influenced
- The biggest contribution to Solomon's downfall, is often supposedly his women. Solomon had 700 wives, princesses included, and 300 concubines. They turned him to other gods. In short, if he has affection for someone, it won't be hard to get him to do something out of character for him.
- Temper
- This arguably is a very major problem for Solomon. Indeed, it's to the point where being summoned as a Berserker was a very real possibility. If one disrespects him enough, he may actually start a fight. This is shown best when he threw down an ant who claimed it was greater than him, and when he sent his entire demon army after a virgin who ran from him.
- Greedy
- While this isn't nearly as prevalent as one would think, Solomon has shown bits of greed here and there, the thousand women is probably one of the best examples of this.
Ironically enough, when he takes on his disguise, he makes The Bad much more prevalent than the good as a means to help confusion.
LIKES: //-His Harem, to the point of being his downfall
-His various powers
-His Kingdom
-Working in his Temple
-Creating fancy new potions to help during a fight
DISLIKES: //-Disrespectful People
-Those who claim themselves to be greater than he
-Competition
-People intruding in his workplace, which he has a feeling will happen quite often
-Being scolded, a bit like a child
STRENGTHS: //-Wise
-Wonderful Therapist
-Easily one of the most powerful Casters, if not one of the most powerful servants in existence.
-Despite stats saying otherwise, Solomon's not a slouch in melee combat.
-Control over demonic beings (Watch out Merlin~! >D)
WEAKNESSES: //-Easily Angered
-Easily Manipulated, should he respect or hold affection for the Manipulator.
-Proud to the point where he may actually receive divine retribution for his pride.
-When he turns to sin, it's more of a binge than anything
-A bit full of himself

MY LEGEND: //King Solomon and the Scale of my kingdom
MY HISTORY: //Alright... let's get started.
It all began when Solomon was born to his parents. Solomon was the son of none other than King David himself. Solomon was one of many children sired by David. His mother however, was Bathsheba. Life went on, Solomon was taught to be proper and all. His father however, aged, became old, and well, erm, had Solomon go and acquire a beautiful young woman for him, by the name of Abishag. It was during this time that Adonijah, David's fourth son, acted to have himself crowned as David's successor. Bathsheba and the prophet Nathan would have none of it however, and convinced David to name Solomon his successor.
Beaten, Adonijah fled to the altar, receiving pardon for his actions from Solomon. However, Solomon made the condition that his brother prove himself a worthy man. Later on, Adonijah requested to marry Absihag, and was subsequently denied. This time however, Bathsheba pleaded on behalf of Adonijah, who was later executed for this matter. The reason for this was that possessing the royal harem was much like claiming the throne, even if the King had grown old.
Solomon had also killed Joab, David's general, as per the request of his dying father, on his deathbed no less. The reason for this was because Generals Abner and Amasa had been killed during a time of peace. While David's priest Abiathar was exiled by Solomon, due to having sided with Adonijah during the whole incident, Shimei was killed, partly because he cursed David when his son was killed in an attempted rebellion.
When David passed, Solomon was the one to rule Israel. This was when Solomon got his Wisdom. He prayed to God, not for wealth, not for power, not for the destruction of his foes, but instead gave but this as his prayer.
"Give Thy servant an understanding heart to judge Thy people and to know good and evil."
"God's" response?
"Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, I will do what you have asked..."
"God's" response?
"Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, I will do what you have asked..."
Unfortunately for Solomon, there is no God. Back then, people did have a naivete of sorts. So, someone of great power could be taken as God. Rather, it was the Will of Mankind who granted him the wish.
There was however, another thing tacked on. Due to not sucking with his Wisdom, he was able to gain authority over pretty much everything. Everything from the higher plane of existence, where angels resided, all the way to hell, where the demons lived, and even the entirety of the earth. He was given control over all beasts as well. And everyone wished to have an audience with him to hear his wisdom. Link.
He remained a faithful servant of God, blissfully unaware that 'God' did not exist, being merely the will of mankind. Yet, he administered fair judgement. However, his extensive harem, consisting of 700 wives, and 300 concubines, would prove to be his downfall. They turned him to idolatry, caused him to stray from God, and in a way, made him more greedy. While not biting him in life, his sins left the Kingdom in a state of disarray, so when the next king had taken over, Israel split in two. Despite his sins later in his reign, Solomon was considered to be the King that ruled at the peak of Israel's golden age, and left a mark that still continues to be felt on an unprecedented scale to this day.
In his final days however, he felt regret for his actions, knowing full well it would be his sons that would suffer for his mistakes. And thus when he died, he allowed himself to be taken to the Throne. His wish? Restore Israel back to the way it was when he reigned. While it wouldn't undo the damage he had caused, it would at least give his once mighty Kingdom a better future.
His opportunity presented itself to him around three thousand years later, when he was summoned by Touko Aozaki to participate in the Holy Grail War. Apparently, there had been five before him. His wisdom kicking in, Solomon quickly picked up on what the world had become, and acted accordingly. He could already tell that Servants would be powerful beings, and that if his accomplishments had survived throughout time, he'd be very well known. For the sake of his Kingdom, he created a second idenity, not only being completely anarchistic in terms of appearance and name, but masquerading as a Saber.
However, there is a peaceful side to this. Quickly after being summoned, Solomon also created a temple beneath his Master's detective agency, using it as a lab of sorts. When not doing his Master's bidding, he can often be found creating items for future incidents in this temple.
However... you're all here for the myths. Which, you'll be able to read soon in the Noble Phantasm section. xD

MY GOALS: //Restore Israel to its glory when he ruled.
[/blockquote]
NOBLE PHANTASM: //In life, Solomon was more or less granted the world by the Will of Mankind himself. He has many unique treasures, and very powerful treasures, some even used by later Heroes. In a way, you could say he was the Israelite version of Gilgamesh.
Name: Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar, the Emerald Studded Sword
Owner: King Solomon was the original owner, it was later possessed by Amir Arsalan.
Type: Anti-Unit/Support
Rank: A+
Range: 1
Maximum Number of Targets: 1 Person
Story: The sword, originally belonging to King Solomon, was guarded by the demon, Fulad-Zereh for several reasons. Not only despite being incredibly valuable, and being the only weapon capable of harming him, but Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar also acted as a charm against magic to whoever wore it. It also possessed the ability that when it struck an opponent, the wound could only be treated by a special potion, made from a number of ingredients, and the brains of the demon, Fulad-Zereh.
Effect: Any blow taken from Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar cannot be healed unless the correct potion with the correct ingredients is made (good luck getting the brains.) Solomon, while wearing this, is pretty much nigh immune to any form of Magecraft. In this day and age, a modern Magi ain't touchin' Solomon.
Name: Seal of Solomon, Symbol of the King
Owner: King Solomon is the true owner, but Asmodeus has gained it in the past.
Type: Anti-Unit
Rank: A++
Range: --
Maximum Number of Targets: 1 Person
Story: The Seal of Solomon is the symbol of Solomon's Kingdom. It gave him power over demons, genies, and even angels to an extent. While he could enslave demons, he could compel angels to answer questions for him. In many legends, the Seal has changed, in one, Asmodeus throws it into the sea, in another, Asmodeus takes the ring for himself. Regardless, many have sought after the Seal, as it was the ultimate symbol of power. It also allowed him to talk to animals.
Effect: If used on a demonic, or monstrous being (like say, Medusa, or a vampire), they will simply receive a rank down in Parameters is their mana rank is B or higher. However, if their mana is below B, it results in two rank downs in parameters.
Name: Solomon's Key, Grimoire of Infinite Knowledge
Owner: King Solomon
Type: Anti-Army
Rank: EX
Range: 1 - 99
Maximum Number of Targets: 100 People
Story: A tome written by King Solomon for his son, Reboam, Solomon's Key is in fact two books condensed into one tome. Book 1, detailing how to do things like conjurations, incantations, curses, among things like summoning and constraining spirits of demons and the dead. Book 2 is in fact, the origin of the exorcism, describing purifications, and instructions of how the exorcist should purify themselves, what they should wear, what they should construct their tools from, and what needs to be sacrificed.
Effect: Solomon has an absolutely massive array of spells. The fact he has A rank High-Speed Divine Words just makes the whole thing even scarier. He is able to effortlessly conjure up demon familiars. These demons are nowhere near the level of a servant on their own, however, even Servants get overwhelmed in the face of sheer numbers. The demon familiars fade very very quickly, usually after an initial attack, and a good Anti-Army NP is a good counter. To the demon summoning, there are however... two exceptions.
Asmodeus and Fulad-Zereh. Neither have Independent Action, meaning they won't stay long, Solomon wouldn't dare fund these things with his own Prana, and both are capable of helping Solomon when it comes to even Servants. So let's get into the itty bitty details, shall we?
Because Solomon has messed with demons for so long (nearly all his life) it takes next to no time whatsoever to conjure the things. He's also gotten so good at it that whenever he does the conjuring, it's pretty much a decently sized swarm (15 - 20) with barely a cost to Solomon. If he were to focus solely on this, then within a few turns he could overwhelm an opponent without an anti-army NP due to sheer numbers. Unfortunately, while this wouldn't be that difficult for Solomon himself, he does have to take Touko in account, and due to actual mana costs, can't really use this willy nilly without draining Touko.
Now, let's move onto the others; Asmodeus and Fulad-Zereh.
ASMODEUS
Asmodeus is the King of Demons, and he's able to back it up. He's around eight feel tall, if you're wondering. He's not that much, but that's really only due to the fact that over time, belief in his existence has waned drastically. Normally, he'd be weak, but considering he's in Italy, whose main religion is Roman Catholic, he gets a nice boost to let him fuss around with some servants for his duration. If you are wondering, the duration is five minutes.
Strength: C
Endurance: E
Agility: C-
Mana: D
Luck: E
You'd think this would suck, but it doesn't. Demons work on a system of belief. The more people that believe in them and fear them, the stronger they get. Asmodeus is no exception to this. While these are his current stats, they have the ability to go higher the more people believe in and fear him. If Solomon were to say, comprimise the secrecy of the war, intentional or accidental, and reveal Asmodeus's existence, the international hype that would surround the War would skyrocket Asmodeus's ranks to be nothing short of a completely unstoppable dreadnaught.
Yes, the War's secrecy is the only thing keeping Solomon from curbstomping everyone and everything.
While it's not in Solomon's nature to reveal the nature of the War, as he believes the secrecy has to be upheld, if someone were to get footage of Asmodeus in action and successfully get away, there'd be nothing Solomon could do.
FULAD-ZEREH
NOW, Fulad-Zereh. He's different. He's gargantuan. As is, he's about 20 feet tall. He's also a tank. Not in the exploding "I will ruin your day" sense, but in the "DIE ALREADY GOD" sense. These are his parameters.
Strength: E
Endurance: A+
Agility: E
Mana: E
Luck: E
Don't worry too much, all he's really good at is being a meat shield, and only lasts for five minutes. While a direct hit from him is easily enough to kill a human, he's just good at taking hits from a Servant. The reason for this is a charm placed on him by his mother that makes him invulnerable to nearly every single thing that has ever existed and will ever exist.
Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar. However, this does not mean you have to jack it from Solomon to kill him. Solomon isn't the only one to possess Zomorrodnegar.
If Amir-Arsalan were to be summoned, he too could kill Fulad. Technically, due to his Reality Marble, if EMIYA were to see Shamshir-e Zomorrodnegar at some point, he could replicate it and use it to kill Fulad. Very simple.
Unfortunately, if Solomon were to ever lose Solomon's Key, he'd be left with basic Caster Spells.
Owner: King Solomon
Type: Support
Rank: B
Range: Ah... what would you put 60 miles long and 60 miles wide to be?
Maximum Number of Targets: 40000 people... at the very least.
Story: The flying carpet of Solomon is nothing short of massive. It was a carpet he owned that was 60 miles long, and 60 miles wide. Woven of a fine green silk with a golden weft, the carpet was so fast it allowed Solomon to have breakfast in Damascus, and supper in Media. It would always reach its destination, carried by the wind, under Solomon's command. Enormous flocks of birds shielded those on the carpet from the sun. However, it has had ill effects. When Solomon showed pride, the wind shook, and 40000 men fell to their deaths. Upon being told by the wind the reason for their deaths, Solomon felt ashamed. Another was when Solomon was flying over a valley, infested with ants. Desiring to ask an ant a question, he plucked it, holding it above the valley. The ant expressed contempt, saying that Solomon should not be interrogating it on a throne. Solomon placed the ant on his hand, asking it who was greater than him. The ant replied that she was, otherwise God would not have sent the ant to be placed on his hand. Offended, Solomon cast the ant down, while it declared that Solomon was "created from a corrupted drop", causing Solomon to once again feel shame.
Effect: Transportation really. However, due to the secrecy of the Holy Grail War, this is the worst possible Noble Phantasm that can be used to keep the secrecy. Solomon never uses it, simply because there is no way to hide the damn thing. Thus, it is useless.
Owner: King Solomon
Type: Support
Rank: E
Range: --
Maximum Number of Targets: 1 person; Solomon
Story: No, I am not describing what Solomon's stupidly elaborate throne looks like. I will however, state that it was a mechanical contraption that managed to function, following Solomon wherever he went, and making the climbing of the steps very convenient. It was as I said, very, very elaborate.
Effect: Nothing really. Just follows Solomon around. Of course, considering this violates the term of the Holy Grail War secrecy, he doesn't use this at all either.
