Carlos was a typical jerk jock delinquent and even became the leader of a street gang, called the Golden Wolfs. All that started to change when one day after a fight he awaken his mystic eyes and discovered he had magus blood. Later, at the age of 15, he found out that his mother was a magus, at the same time he found a few magic tomes in the things his mother left him. Thus he began to study in the ways of the magi. He is an easygoing guy, who is very loyal to his friends; he even goes to visit one friend that’s in jail every week. Tends to keep his troubles to himself and hide his fears under a smile, is a chivalrous pervert, is also very analytical. By some miracle he became fast friends with Yang Huang Long after a bar fight broke out between them.
Doesn't have many experience as a magus.

Effect: Increases temperature in the oxygen molecules within the caster's grasp until it ignites. Can be thrown to a distance of up to 5m before dissipating. Causes 2nd-3rd degree burns. Its destructive capacity can be compared to throwing a live torch at somebody.

Effect: Bolt uses prana to alter the atmosphere in an area, making it highly conductive. The user can then zap a target with an electrical bolt equivalent to being hit by a fifty kilowatt high-voltage cable. Wind magi tend to jokingly refer to it as 'Generic Lightning Bolt'.

Plamya Pika (Fire)

Range: 25m
Effect: Russian for 'Flame Lance'. Functions by the user pointing his finger at a target, then manipulates the air between the finger point and the target into a clear path of oxygen. The tip ignites the oxygen pathway, creating a 'lance' of fire that quickly travels towards the target with great force, setting them on fire. Essentially has the same effects as an incendiary rifle round.
A three-line spell that is taught at intermediate levels, older families with this in their Crests have stabilized it to the level of One-Liner. Due to its principle, it is more easily used by magi with affinity to both Fire and Wind.
The Flame Lance originated in the Kievan Rus', from where it found its way into the Sea of Estray, and eventually, into Clock Tower. Its development is attributed to the Golovkin Family of Lords, who base most of their magecraft on more advanced derivatives of this spell. Owing to its origins, the spell is commonly found in the arsenals of Slavic magi.
Experienced street fighter
Unlike Huang Long who trained to become a fighter, Carlos spends most of his childhood and adolescence getting into fight. By the age of 14 he was strong enough to create and rule one of the then biggest youth gang in all of Lucca. This means that he has experience in hand to hand combat, in using a variety of weapons and improvised weapons, is okay in using a handgun and isn’t afraid to fight dirty. In a way he’s probably a better fighter than Huang Long
Concealement from other magus.
For some reason, maybe because of a sorcery trait, Carlos is able to hide himself from the senses of other magus. This skill is so great that even if a magus was standing beside him, they wouldn't be able to tell that he's one himself. Like Huang Long, who has no idea that his new best friend is a magus.
