Doesn't mean I'll stop
Doesn't mean I will cross
You might be a big fish
In a little pond
Doesn't mean you've won
'Cause along may come
A bigger one"

[li]Ambitious
- “My family has worked hard to get where we are currently, and we deserve the opportunity to gain power for ourself without being subject to serfdom by another family.” - Akylos.
Akylos being born into a young family, knows of all the dangers and limitations placed upon his family by outside sources. For this reason, he is actively seeking power, both for himself and his family. Though while he is ambitious, leaving a trail of corpes is something that is beyond him, so if you want him to betray someone he has relations with (whether it be a business partner, a friend, or a family member), then you better have a good reason for him to do so.
[/li][li]Daredevil
- “There's nothing like the rush you get from grinding down a rail at high speed.”
Akylos really likes the rush he gets from putting his body at risk. Normally he's calm and takes the time he needs to think his plans through, but when the heat of of the moment kicks in, he's reckless and takes the gamble when he sees an opportunity for victory.
[/li][li]Conserving
- “I'm not gonna fire my jewels everywhere without any forethought. They're simple to expensive to be used in such a fashion.”
Jewel Thaumaturgy is an expensive practice, so his father while teaching him, has made sure that Akylos fully understood those expenses. This have affected him in such a way that he prefers precision over rate-of-fire and firepower. Meaning, winning the battle with one strike, leaving the enemy with a small hole in his chest without damaging the environment around them.
In normal life he prefers to either buy cheap or used; with the exceptions being food, gifts, clothes he needs for proms, and when he is the host.
[/li][li]Cheerful
- “Life is here to be enjoyed, mate~”
Generally a cheerful person, Akylos prefers to see things on the bright its side, and change those things that aren't for the better, rather than ignoring them.
[/li][li]Hard to impress
- “Do I have to care?”
Unless you're a friend of his or there's some self-serving purposes behind it, don't expect Akylos to compliment your talents or to listen to your long boasts. He just doesn't care about your accomplishments, unless he asks about them first, to a point were he's rude about it.

LIKES: //
Greek coffee
His family
Skating
magecraft
Jewels that can be used for magecraft
Improving upon his skills.
DISLIKES: //
Nepotism (by other families of course)
Things that is blocking his path to learn and improve upon his skills

Boastful people.
STRENGTHS: // His jewels allows him for greater versatility; skating is still faster than running; will allow himself to take changes to win, provided that it doesn't go against his conserving nature;
WEAKNESSES: // A daredevil is still a daredevil; doesn't have any real training in martial arts or other formal self-defense system; not all his crested spells are stabilized, and other aren't even crested; he rarely flirts or give compliments, and is rude when around boastful people.

MY FAMILY LINE: //
The Silasopoulos family is a young bloodline from Greece, who is still in the progress of establishing themselves in the world. But before Magecraft was known to them, they were a merchant family in Ottoman Greece, earning their money through honest practices.
In 1774 they claimed an abandoned crate from a warehouse of theirs, that contained the grimoires and journals (which went into the research of Jewel Magecraft) of its previous owner. The family head at that time found this material to be of great interest, so he started his own research based upon the material he had acquired, and to transform his own family into a proper magi house (only having one heir, breeding for prana, and all that). But this left him with very little time to take care of his family's business, so he (with the support of his wife who was in on it) put his trust into one of his brothers hands to take care of it, which is a method they have been using ever since.
Today they make their wealth through owning hotels and tourist attractions, and in terms of wealth, they're rich, but most of it are spent on the jewels they use.
Four generations has carried a crest before Akylos (he's the fifth), and the family itself is 253 years old. They got affinity for fire, and wind; their average circuits is: 20 circuits with an output of 3.5 prana for a maximum of 70 prana; they specialize in Jewel Thaumaturgy, and with the help that material that formed their base, they've gotten quite ahead of other families of the same age. Secondarily they've assimilated a few of the basic fire and wind spells that is common within the Clock Tower, so if they were ever stuck in a duel; they at least got something to defend themselves with.
They are affiliated with the Clock Tower, but without any standing, and all of the problems that comes with being a young family who are trying to establish themselves.
MY HISTORY: //
Akylos was born in an old city manor in the outskirts of Athen; to his parents: Ionas, and Agathe Silasopoulos. Being the firstborn, he was to carry on his family's legacy, and become a magus. He didn't go to school, but he was instead taught at home by a private teacher. This was mostly because his father wanted reserved a great deal of Akylos' time to study Magecraft, and therefore he saw no need for all those extra subject Akylos would learn in a private school. Akylos wasn't a genius by the tally of most people. But he learned well and without too much trouble from his father, that stressed the need for him to learn to be precise and refined in his craft.
Inline skating was something Akylos was introduced to (around the age of 13) when he saw a group of skaters, while walking around town. He was really impressed with this kind of sport, and his father had asked him to find something to keep himself in shape with, so persuading him was easy enough. It was just afterall, some shoes with wheels.
The following years wasn't too eventful, and all Akylos did was to further his study, and shadowing his father, when he was visiting the tower. But right before Akylos was to be enrolled into the Clock Tower, his father heard the rumors of the war. An opportunity for their family to gain True Magic, and gaining untold amount of prestige; was an opportunity Akylos' father couldn't just allow to pass by. So instead of being sent to the clock tower as planned, Akylos was being keep home to prepare for the war. In this period he improved upon his skills in using the offensive spells in his crest, and was able to develop a combat reinforcement spell. However, most of his time were still spent improving upon his mastery in using jewel Thaumaturgy.
A year later, Akylos travelled to Lucca as a tourist, and from his aunt's husband he borrowed a small town-house located in Ponte a Moriano.
MY GOALS: // Winning the war, and use the wish to gain True Magic.
[/blockquote]
Inline skates
Padded fingerless gloves
A normal backpack
Wallet - Contains some cash, and a credit card.
Jewels – These jewels are the arsenal Akylos has brought with him for the duration of the war. Though most of these jewels are created by his father and his father, and since this war is a family investment, Akylos has (with their blessing) added them to his arsenal.
He's carrying these jewels around, either in suitcase which is reinforced with metal, or a pair of belt cases made from carbon fiber. These cases are tough enough to take the punishment of him falling on them while skating at full speed, and can isolate the jewels against the heat of a basic fireball.
His total amount of jewels is:
C - 1
D - 2
E - 5
It is not possible for him to refill his arsenal.
Townhouse - A small townhouse located in Ponte a Moriano. It got three rooms (two bedrooms and a living room), a kitchen, bathroom (with both a bathtub and shower), and a windowless basement; that Akylos has converted into his workshop. Beyond that, there's nothing special about it.
RANK: // None as he has yet to be inrolled into the Clock Tower.
ELEMENT: // Fire, and wind.
EXPERTISE: //
Aggressive inline skating - A form of skating that focuses on preforming stunts. The form of skating Akylos practice focuses on grinding, rather than acrobatic tricks. He has practiced it for about four years, and he's quite good at it.
Jewel Magecraft - The type of Thaumaturgy that the Silasopoulos family is specialized at, jewels are said to be able to absorb and accumulate the thoughts of its owners, so the same thing is valid for prana. Among the jewels of the world, there are those that spent years under the ground having contact with the spirits of nature. These special jewels became "stained" with power of said spirits and can be used as a simplified type of Thaumaturgical Crest.
Once prana is embedded into a jewel, it will be tinted by the mystical properties of the stone, and the magus can then use that power whenever and in whatever way he finds necessary. A specific example would be the topaz, which has properties that makes it optimal for anti-spirits tasks. Within a few limits, is possible to modify the properties of a jewel so it can be used for different purposes, but as a consequence its efficiency will not be optimal.
By releasing all the energy of the jewel at once, it will produce the effect that is most tuned for at maximum power, but at the expenses of burning out the jewel to ashes. Depending of the amount of prana stored inside the jewel, it is possible to cast a High Thaumaturgy-level spell instantly. The same rules apply if the magus decides to use the jewel as a single use explosive. It is possible to preserve the jewel by simply removing the power stored from inside of it and use that to strengthen a spell cast by normal means, but overall effect will be decreased.
MAGIC CIRCUITS: // Akylos comes from a young family. Naturally he got 20 magic circuits and a quality of 3.75PrC (75 pr.), and with his crest of 25 pr., he got a grand total of 100 prana.
SPELLS: //
Fireball (Fire)
Rank: E
Cost: 3 Pr
Range: 5m
Effect: Increases temperature in the oxygen molecules within the caster's grasp until it ignites. Can be thrown to a distance of up to 5m before dissipating. Causes 2nd-3rd degree burns. Its destructive capacity can be compared to throwing a live torch at somebody.
A one-line spell common to most fire magi. Some older families have stabilized it to the level of Single Action in their Crests.
[This spell is stabilized.]
Flumen Infernalis (Fire)
Rank: C
Cost: 18 Pr
Range: 20m
Effect: Latin for 'River of Hell', the spell is not so much a thaumaturgical version of Greek Fire as it is the thaumaturgical inspiration of Greek Fire. A variety of fire that not only is water resistant but in fact hydrophilic, attempting to counter this attack with water spells is complete idiocy, as wetting it will only make it burn harder. Causes 4th degree burns on targets, if not downright burning them to a crisp. It is a creeping fire that initially manifests as a fireball the size of a marble. Once it strikes a flammable surface, it will spread relentlessly, impervious to liquids and wind. It is best countered with smothering.
A two-verse spell that is taught at the more advanced levels, older families with this in their Crests have stabilized it to the level of Four-Liner. Affinity to Water is not a requirement for this spell, nor does it improve its capabilities.
River of Hell was developed in the Byzantine Empire in the 6th Century AD, by a group of magi in the heart of Constantinople. Various chemists at the time who unwittingly witnessed the event sought to replicate this magecraft and scientifically developed Greek Fire, which went on to be used by the Byzantine Navy. Greek Fire, however, is inferior to the spell, as it can be put out by liquids such as old vinegar or strong urine, aside from smothering
[This spell is down to five lines.]
Jewel (Jewels)
Rank: -
Cost: 1
Range: -
Effect: Jewels are more or less stored spells. Once used to cast a stored spell, the jewel is lost. However one can achieve an instant high ranked spell in a single action, or use the prana inside the stone to create a detonation. The higher quality of gem, the more prana it can store.
The spells stored within Akylos' jewels, are limited to the spells that are listed on his spell list (except for the combat reinforcement).
Razor Gale (Wind)
Rank: D
Cost: 14-18 Pr
Range: 28m
Effect: Prana is used to manipulate the atmosphere into a vacuum that can julienne a target quite effectively in a barrage of 'sharp' gusts capable of cutting through kevlar, leather, wood, and most 'light' materials. Each barrage consists of 7 gusts, costing 2 Pr each. During the initial casting, it's possible to contribute an additional 4 Pr to the spell, which will cycle the air and allow the user to cast it again in a single action manner. The result is a quicker follow-up of barrages that can potentially end up with a target shredded to bits, assuming the caster has enough prana to keep up the attack.
A three-line spell that is taught at intermediate levels, older families with this in their Crests have stabilized it to the level of One-Liner.
[This spell is stored in his crest but has yet to be stabilized.]
Combat Reinforcement (Fire)
Rank: C
Cost: 15 Pr
Range: Self
Effect: Specialized full-body reinforcement. This enhances all key and relevant factors of the user's body, speed, reaction time, reflex sensitivity, durability and hardness, turning the user into a human weapon. Lasts 5 minutes.
A two-verse spell that is taught at the more advanced levels, older families with this in their Crests have stabilized it to the level of Four-Liner.
[This spell is learned independet of his crest, and therefore takes full time to cast.]
