- Knight Templar Younger Brother
- Yes, he's younger than Ilaria by a whole twenty minutes. Yes, the birth certificate says he's born on the 12th (he's still seeing lawyers about changing that)... a minute past midnight (this pisses him off). But it doesn't prevent him from harboring fiercely protective feelings towards his elder (by only 20 goddamn minutes, not a whole day), fraternal twin. He deeply loves her, and there's nothing that can or will change that.
He also demands that she not date anyone until she's 25 or something, despite, you know, being her junior.

- He is also somewhat of a romantic. He has HORMONES, dammit. He's SIXTEEN, after all. Except he sort of has poor taste in women. Most of the people he's had crushes on tend to be severely wrong for him in one way or another. Let's not get into the crazy biker chick who kept threatening to knife people, or the psycho rich bitch yandere, or the very nice, quiet, studious girl... who happened to be a lesbian. Let's not.
- Shy
- He realizes that sewing is not the most manly activity around. It's not even the second most. Hell, it's not even the most youthful hobby, for that matter – that's probably cooking. But he likes sewing anyways, but just doesn't want to deal with the sort of peer pressure and flak associated with such a social stigma.
- Sullen and Defensive
- Indeed, if someone has a bone to pick with him over anything specific, then he'll immediately retreat to a sullen silence, unwilling to listen to the other person, ready to fly into a rage at any given moment. His family, thankfully, is exempt from this, to an extent. His sister, however, is the only one who can reach him without fail, should he lapse into this.

He can... sew? And tailor? And cosplay? So, fashionable, I guess. That aside, he is also freakishly strong for his size – he throws trash cans at people. And vending machines, too. His strength certainly isn't on the level of magi, but yeah – still pretty strong.

He burned water. He had no idea how, but when boiling a kettle for tea, he somehow got it to blow up. Some chem teacher told him that it was related to electrolysis and H2O decomposing into hydrogen and oxygen gas... but honestly, he has no idea how that happened. He's just... a shitty cook, in general. Also, he's pretty clumsy on his feet, so he doesn't play many sports. Also, since he's too preoccupied with reading and sewing, he does rather poorly in school.

Ilario, the youngest of the Manlius siblings, is Ilaria's fraternal twin, younger than her by 20 minutes, edging into 12:01 AM of January 12, a fact that immensely irritates him. Honestly, what sort of twins are unable to celebrate their birthdays on the same day? Really.
He, along with his siblings, were more or less left to fend for themselves, as their parents often left on business trips or honeymoons of one form or another. Ilario pretended that this did not bother him, and merely carried on as normal – which basically meant sneaking around and pissing off every babysitter he ever had.
Then, on one of his earlier birthdays, he was given a sewing kit by his elder brother, Amato. Initially dismissive, Ilario reluctantly cracked it open, to find a natural talent for sewing. And so it went – he willingly accepted said gift, and basically tailors for the rest of his family. Ilaria's sweater and scarf? His work.
And forces them to cosplay on occasion, but that's neither here or there.
Regardless, he is fiercely protective of his older sister (even if he treats her as his younger sister), for whatever reason. Both admiring and patronizing of Ilaria, he wants nothing more than her safety, which essentially translates into a fierce knight templar-younger brother instinct. He doesn't want anybody to get near her – at least, not while he's around. He even broke off all ties with some of his old friends the moment they expressed an interest in Ilaria. As far as he's concerned, nobody's good enough for Ilaria. And he has the muscles to back it up.
Through his later (Teenaged) life, though, he has been sort of hypocritically pursuing women. The problem is that he had terrible luck and taste. That biker chick, for example, basically let him tag around out of boredom and amusement. That, and mugging people. Although Ilario did not like that latter part, he still did it, because, hey, love conquers all, right? He still found out that she actually already had her own boyfriend.
Bad luck in romance.
Well, Ilaria does try to set him up with one of her many lady friends, but Ilario is largely uninterested in them, for whatever reason - probably his poor, poor tastes striking again.
Despite his strength, however, Ilario is largely uninterested in sports, as he is sort of unskilled with his strength. He does not have the finesse to carefully drive a soccer ball into a teammate's grasp (but through a shin, yes). His only hobby is actually sewing, a fact that has earned much derision from many other people.
As a result of this, Ilario keeps largely to himself, because he doesn't want to deal with other peoples' crap, and he certainly doesn't want to punch somebody's face off, although he's willing to finish a fight, if necessary. Despite this, however, he often gets into fights with other people, largely because almost everything and anything they say would offend him.
Not his family, though. He fiercely loves his siblings, no matter what. He might not say that he luvluvs them (He's a teen and a MAN, the hell do you expect?), but he will certainly admit that he... tolerates and likes them.
