- Suck it Up Attitude
- More like a general and warrior, she is not the mothering woman who would take care or attend to her master's wounds. Instead they should suck it up and keep going. It's just a flesh wound, a light injury etc. also goes for herself. She never loses. Either she dies, it ends in a draw or in a win, never a loss. Even losing all limbs would be a draw. Let's call it a draw, K? Preferring hot headed idiots over cowards, cowardly actions would make you lose points very fast.

- She does not seem like it and is more of a real tomboy than anything else, not caring about clothing, style or if she would fight naked, victory standing above such little things. But deep inside that muscle woman sleeps the little girl who never had the time to actually do anything other than fighting and wage war. She prefers to see intact families, is not feeling too well about herself doing her own son wrong and would love to apologize. Helping a young life is better than destroying it and she is a drama addict.

- She is not stupid enough to head on the battle field and tell stories or reveal her identity. But her pride, that of the Hwarang and that of her Nation are always on the line for her. If it goes about a fight she is not willing to back down and trash talk during a battle is not below her, including rough language and cursing. It also includes a small disdain against Japanese. She does not hate them and never had any bad history with them, but after a little update of Korean History, she can show some slight hostilities towards them at time, before they redeem themselves in her eyes.
- Practice over Theory
- Kim always showed how it is done rather than going with lengthy explanations. Why would one bother to tell that getting hit by a car hurts when you can just show it? This mixed with her arrogance to survive some crazy acts could turn into comedic scenes of absolute insanity, while actually not being Mad at the moment. The downside for anyone who wishes for her end. Servants can't be hurt by normal cars.

Yushin is a multi talent and one who could be summoned in many classes, among them, except for Caster. Able to control her Berserk State makes enemy's certainly fall for a bad surprise. She is exceptional fast and strong and still capable of taking some beating if necessary. Although getting quite angry at times, not someone who would fall completely into their anger, rather than using it as a means to be stronger. She does not care about looks, gender or standing and not prone to fall into traps because she underestimates an opponent. Her melee abilities are not all build on power rather than sublime power disruption which can give her some serious advantage in following battles. As a Berserker still a power horse and if not going all out actually consuming less prana in ME than other Berserkers.

She lost some of her skills that would make her even more powerful, dropping them in favor of Mad Enhancement for the Berserker Class. Yushin is a bit of an arrogant and boisterous person, albeit not dumb enough to drawn in it. Often a bit hotheaded and although knowing well how stupid something may be she still would do it, yet not cower down in fear, but strive forward, no matter the risk. Although difficult to make, a well made trap would be her downfall. She does not take care about gender, age, style or else. This means she does not care who she kills, how she kills them, as long as it is justified and shows no mercy by herself. She has no shame either, a warrior is a warrior, nothing else. Extreme loyalty to the lord is also equal to extreme loyalty to her master. She would abide their wish mostly, if they are not total cowards and she is really extremely hotheaded at times. People not on her like list are sooner to be goners than others, who would actually be protected by the codex.

Skipping over the myth of the creation of the World and going straight to Korea. Ungnyeo a bear and a tiger lived in a cave. They wished to become human and received an offer from the gods that they would grant their wish if they were to only eat a special diet for 100 days, not nearly the ideal amount or food for those animals and stay out of the sunlight. The tiger failed, but the bear Ungnyeo managed this task and turned into a woman. But she had no husband and wished for a kid. Upon sinking into depression and praying to the divine king, he who had turned her human before he also gave her a child. This child was the founder of Korea.
But more important was the foundation of Silla, an area and nation of the Korean Three Kingdoms, which was not the biggest, but managed to unite all of Korea for some 100s of years and filled with pride warriors. It began with Alyeong, the first queen of Shilla. When Pak Hyeokkeose was born, the elders decided that a suitable wife needed to be found. Not just by pure coincidence, a strange creature, cross between dragon and chicken was found in a village nearby. A human, beautiful girl was born from it, but she had the beak of a chicken. When she was taken to be bathed, however, the beak fell off. She was named Alyeong, sharing the name with the well next to which she was born and was married to Pak Hyeokkeose when she reached the age of thirteen.
This was the beginning of Silla. King Jinheung, a descendant, wished to create a group of beautiful females, and put the doctrines of womanhood on them. Filial and fraternal piety, loyalty, and sincerity. But two members fell into deep quarrel and hatred with each other and one murdered the other cowardly. This resulted in disbanding the group and throwing the idea away. So the ideals were strengthened and a new group of elite scholars and warriors was born, their rank only to be filled with the most noble, most beautiful and strongest of warriors, indeed just stemming from noble houses.
The Hwarang were created, the Flower Knights, who should mix beauty with strength, and their leaders, the elite among this elite were the Gukseon, the Immortals of the Country/State.
Their rules were:

Never retreat in battle
Never take a life without a just cause
and they were taught similar to Chinese Warriors with installed knighthood also to be seen in the Knights of the Rounds. They were taught Martial Arts, Daoism and Buddhism. They also learned the five Cardinal Confucian Virtues, the Six Arts, the Three Scholarly Occupations, and the Six Ways of Government Service and were so something like the predecessor of later Japanese Samurais.
Versed in the art of the sword, archery, lances and unarmed combat, those warriors not many in number were able to strive off bigger troups and many feared them. Their army may be small but they are invincible.
Kim Yushin was born as the Great grandchild of a previous king, King Guhae of Geumgwan Gaya, daughter of General Kim Seohyeon and Lady Manmyeong, who was herself a daughter of King Jinheung of Silla. The Yellow Emperor, a godlike mythical Chinese ruler who is credited with taming wild bears, crushing 80 barbarian tribes in a single battle by swinging a dog around like a a club and inventing cereal, herbal medicinal supplements, and the Chinese government was one of her direct ancestors, this alone gave great strength to their blood line.
She was very young when she began intense training in warfare, archery, swordmanship and martial arts with the greatest masters of the country, also already including masters of the country of China, just soon, at the age of 15, to be enranked into the corps of Hwarang, females were quite well respected and female rulers not rare, but the Hwarang still mainly consisted of young men, and some wondered if she might not be misplaced. She proved her worth with a great trial of heading into a cave, supposed to be cursed and came back alive. Not only that but she managed to meet the mountain god and through a conversation with him acquired military secrets, a normal mortal might never receive. Standing at the lines as a hwarang, an elite warrior with a huge broadsword and common to command a regiment, she fought as one of the bravest.
But it didn't take long for the also hotheaded, yet easily down calming Yushin to stand out even among them. Falling into great anger, she rushed alone into the enemy camp by herself, killed enemy after enemy, the bodyguard and the enemy general himself, just to return with the head and dropping it on the ground, in front of the own troops. "Bad to lose one's head during combat like this~"
The moral boost was all they needed to fight almost as bravely as their leader and wipe the enemies out. Kim was soon to be promoted to Gukseong, at the age of 18 and fought many battles in a similar crazy manner, rising in ranks soon to be awarded with land, soldiers, goods, more troops etc. Even assassinations were thwarted by divine protection. A spy who was supposed to kill her and almost succeeding failed the attempt after three goddesses whispered to Yushin to draw her attention to the nearby woods. She did as requested and met them just to hear the truth. The spy was executed and the conquest continued.
Kim Yushin still fought many battles as a general and soon had all troops of Silla under her command, at only 34 years of age. One of the greatest generals, wishing to unite all of Korea, made the biggest steps to grant an access to this noble goal. Kim Yushin died at the age of 79, knowing well about her death time before, and her bodyguards, alone big enough to count as an army left her after she declared that luck had left her and death draws near, and Korea was united under Silla for many years.
But for her the goal was not fully met, luck should have remained, Korea expanded and succeeded against the invaders of China and other countries. The battle was far from one. Making a wish, she was granted a place in the Throne of Heroes. Upon summoning as a Berserker, a couple of skills that proved her ability to see into the future, predict it and direct it, as well as great leadership abilities were dwarfed under the great influence of Madness. Only able to keep herself from going completely crazy and at least keeping the great martial arts skills she once possessed, Yushin has set her goal to revive the great empire once again and most of all stop the unnecessary quarrel between North and South.

Uniting the country once again by given a second life and finding a way to apologize to her son Wusong, who she wished to have executed because he brought shame on the family for failing, and who later showed his real worth during combat to become a great hero in her eyes.

A hit with them could shatter the target underneath through the armor. Each of them was in Korean Legend at least as powerful or even more powerful than a Knight of the Round. The Dukseong were the leaders of those warriors and Kim supposedly the highest ranked. The elite of the elite of the elite. The connection between her and the sword was high enough to summon it into her hand without drawing. A legend were the heroine was not tied to her sword, but the sword to the legend. Kim's sword carrying all of Silla or Korea behind it. It is nonetheless not a Divine Weapon.

Anger can fuel one's strength. It is a physical strength and yet a great weakness if not administered correctly. Many fear that they can't use it properly and try to discard it, while others study intensily to turn it into a proper weapon. The Hwarang did kill many, but not without a just cause. How this was defined was another matter and should not be important for the ability, though.
Kim was a great general who knew how to motivate the army and Solo Acts and Rushes into the enemy camp were one of such action. It was quite common that she got extremely angry before doing something others would just call outright insane. But unlike a crazy zealot, the Berserker like rage, was unusually well directed, each swing powerful and yet refined. Instead of coming back with countless wounds, showing off a great amount of Physical Defense, she was usually completely unscathed. No matter how many lances or arrows came her way, she remained without wounds. Even if she may need to concentrate fully on herself to counter the effects given to her by the grail class Berserker to keep her own abilities intact, those not ultimately required for the grail war suffered greatly not to be used anymore.
This skill allows the user to include advanced techniques during their Berserk State and also to evade and block rather than only focusing on the enemy at hand. They are a more tactical killing machine. Furthermore it allows the user to boost their stats higher than expected and especially in her case, the agility beyond the ordinary levels, thus reaching even into the EX Territory, if the right conditions are met. Finally it is the very same skill used to allow the miracle of disengaging from Mad Enhancement.
As there is certainly no Master able to fuel Berserkers at full power for a while less an EX Rank, she uses her own self control to lower her fighting strength after the inition. This results in a Drop from EX to A+++ after the first 5 minutes of combat is common or faster if the master is not strong enough.
As she fights intelligently this ability usually drops the prana consumption of her master not always using 100% of ME. This also means that it is more likely that she caps herself at A+ or A++ rather than A+++ or EX to not kill the own master.
The NP is directly tied to the personal skill Selected Rage and Divine Protection. (I thought it was necessary to install a miracle to advance into the EX territory through Mad Enhancement and also a miracle to disengage ME. As a NP is the only skill on a servant on that level, it was required. The personal skills are a list to allow and explain the NP, nothing more. Even if they seem unnecessary and redundant. It is too often that Skills are only there to explain the NPs, although I killed many slots for this...)

Kim in one step was surrounded by an entire Chinese Army, but instead of backing down she threatened them, to slaughter them all, if they were to harm a Korean official. At this comment the sword came out of its scabbard and directly into her hand. Of course, the impression of fighting a super natural opponent was only strengthened after seeing this and they backed down. Kim's sword is a part of her and it will always come back into her hand, no matter how she throws it or if it is blocked.
The general idea is to attack with a sword throw, because of her canny Martial Arts skills, more than capable to fight an armed opponent without a weapon and rush at the target. They are either stabbed by the sword frontal and receive stun damage by being pierced at high speed with a very large weapon, followed by the rush attack, or they are able to evade the throw to face Kim. As they logically would not expect the weapon to come back they would likely be stabbed in the back by the returning blade, quite similar in effect as before. Naturally servants are trained and are also used to fight in melee while Archers try to take them down. Instinct helps to evade it. Although they target is obviously not automatically hit, it is very difficult to evade and or block.
The rush itself is more dangerous, unleashing a series of precise and deadly hits with her hands and feet to lay them to eternal rest with a finishing move. This move is a palm strike that seals the Qi of her opponent. Qi or Ki is only the Asian equivalent to what Western Magi would describe as Prana. As such the Prana of the servant is shut off and disrupted upon being hit. If they are able to block, the effect is only slightly disrupting.
Disrupting means that they feel heavy, and suffer in the way that they can't use their prana properly anymore. It seals off their Noble Phantasm. Characters relying heavily on Prana, especially those with Prana Burst even suffer random stat changes during the battle and Caster's become totally useless. They will take at least 3 rounds to recover from that.
If the hit was a direct hit, there is a 90% chance that the flow was completely broken. If this is the case, the power will remain disrupted until the flow is restored, and the servant won't get any prana from their master anymore, until the connection is fixed.
(As the lovely dragon was killed, there is only one way. -.-; Need to get clear? I hope not.)
This skill does not work under the influence of Mad Enhancement. It would be too much. The skill only works because of her high mastery in Martial Arts.
Silla's Wrath

Kim was a great general, at a later part the general of all of Silla and known for unorthodox single rushes, but also great scale assaults with rather modern weaponry for that time. A couple of Kite's usually meant for communication and quite well camouflaged, unknown to the normal eye, are sent gen sky and unleash a fury of falling swords and other materials, including explosives from the sky, while Hydralisk siege tanks open fire in a direct way. This heavy assault, reigning down on the opponent is literally Silla's unified will to crush the opponent.
Kim was well protected by the gods and often using story elements to boost her own image of an unbeatable warrior. This desire to be great, shows well in the physical materialization of this NP. Unfortunately the user is not able to establish a full Reality Marble, because she is for one still too normal and for another lacks the mana and summoning the entire army of Old is out of question. But it is activated for just one single barrage of fire before disappearing and consuming a lot of prana in the process. Otherwise it would easily jump to A+++ or above.

Boost up all parameters except Luck and Mana, but in exchange one can no longer think and speak properly. (She consumes less prana in ME than other Berserkers if not using full levels, which might end up using more. She can also think to some extent in ME Mode and can switch it off. Requires an NP.)

Cancel Single-Action spells. Magic Resistance of the same degree of an amulet that rejects magical energy. Will be reduced with Mad Enhancement to E.

Immunity to psychic and psychological ailments. Completely useless or and unnecessary with Mad Enhancement.
Master Martial Artist: A++
Mostly known as a Chinese rationality. A value that measures one's mastery of the martial arts that made becoming one universe as its objective. Its difficulty to learn is of the highest level and, unlike other Skills, it is at A Rank that one is at a level where he is said to have finally "learned it".
Sillan Warriors were similar to the Knights of the Rounds in their Honor Structure, like battle monks in their battle training and it was not rare to kill an opponent with bare hands and not just concluding the battle with a weapon. As they all had to be accomplished martial artists to gain their rank it is not unnatural to have people with Rank A+ in their higher ranks.
A++: At this point one is within the group of elite of masters.

This skill only suffers a bit under Mad Enhancement, due to Selective Rage.
Selective Rage: A
A: A person who makes proper use of the aggression and the beast within. Even if the thinking might be hindered by Mad Enhancement, the user can still employ advanced fighting techniques in melee, whereas normal Berserkers would just madly slash away. It also allows a master to deactivate Mad Enhancement again, if it is at least one Rank Lower than Selective Rage. Because the owner of the skill will feel the bad after effects of the 'blood rush' they will be disoriented and weakened right afterwards, making a deactivation during combat a very stupid action.
Yushin was an accomplished Martial Artist and always able to raise the moral of her men with sometimes very intelligent sometimes quite insane appearing actions. She was often rushing into the enemy camp, killing enemies left and right like a Berserker to get the enemy leader, just to come out shortly afterwards as if she would have never done anything along those lines and concluded her rush with a joke.
(B For Instance would only allow a deactivation for C without making any other allowances.)

Divine Protection: EX
Kim herself was a descendant in direct line to the so called Yellow King, a monster of a man and partly god himself. He was mostly known to slay bears with a dog, slaying the poor animal like a baseball bat around. Considering that the creation of noble families always began with demi-gods this is to be expected. Naturally Kim is partly god herself, but over the generations and not knowing the exact divinity of her grand father, the yellow emperor only showed the tight connections to the god, in her ever present guard. She was not only protected by one god, but by many. Alone in one part, a rather minor incident when one considers the mere removal of a traitor, 3 goddesses came to her aid to warn her. She was also protected and guided in a cave to reach the mountain guard and study military tactics.
Only at the day of her death, she said that this luck has left her, but until then, she could blitz into enemy camps without getting as much as a scratch. It seemed like she was toying with the enemies, evading arrows and spear with unexpected speed. Naturally this was nothing a normal human could do. The Divine Protection is unlike most might assume, not an increase in Defense, but Evasion and Speed and thus effecting her Agility Stat. If not for the fact that she did not have an entire troop of gods at her side, she would most likely never do something that could be said as divine itself.
Not hindered by Mad Enhancement.

Although originally just wishing to fit another Berserker into the RP, another Berserker showed up just before it was posted. So to give it a bit of a variation, this character was genderbent after the creation.... I did not wish to select another hero after writing the general idea out. Why so many Berserkers all of a sudden!?
