- Analytical Workaholic
- She enjoys to see a person at a whole and their traits, but unfortunately not really their personality besides splitting them into good or bad. She is too much focused on her work and improving herself than enjoying the company of others. But this does not mean that she is anti-social. Just more cautious. Aya may be short tempered at times, but she is at all times more of a calculating personality.
- Team Player
- Although she is cautious about her relations with others, when it comes to work and efficiency she is great in abiding to the rules of others and fitting herself into a team. Although sometimes maybe a bit stubborn, she is following orders when they are given.
- Lawful
- Even if she is in a difficult spot, she might appear too stubborn for a killing blow and arrest someone. This could be more of a comedical relief for people who end up for crimes that are not even something that should be revealed to society. This also means that she would be extremely troubled to let a friend go if he did something wrong and cause more than just minor worries. As her trust is very high once she included someone into her friend list, this also makes her easy to fool after reaching that part.
- Glutton
- She eats a lot and really a lot. This does also mean that her eating manners are not the most refined and that she is certainly not a chooser when it comes to different kinds of food. Whatever is in reach and edible will land in her stomach.

STRENGTHS: //
Aya always wished to become a cop and read many detective novels as a kid. A good number of cases solved, also gives her experience in detecting falsehood and lies or criminals. Having spend some time in the special forces also gives her some knowledge about how you operate in battle, this primarily focuses on team play, but she is also on her own not to be underestimated. Especially an ability to split her thinking process into multiple parts allows her fast decision making and an enhanced reaction time.
She has undergone rigorous training of special forces and also studied jujutsu and rune magic under her father. By now she is very skilled in her use of runes and tonfa, which also includes the police baton. The combination of runes and heavy punches make her very difficult to handle for any kind of opponent, who can not simply overpower her. Aya is a a specialist in CQC and employs runic sorcery on her limbs to increase her fighting potential. Her analytical, pre-planned style of fighting increases her reaction rate profoundly and rounds up her skills.
Naturally she is used to any kind of weaponry that can be found in a police arsenal, which ranges from pistols, over shot guns, to assault and sniper rifles. Seeing that most people still focus their mastership on the weapons they really use, her shooting skills also suffer a bit when she is forced to use a weapon that is not of her type. She was one of the better snipers in the team, ranking 7th under the top 100 of the force.
WEAKNESSES: //
While she is certainly a capable fighting magus in terms of fighting, her actual magic abilities and knowledge about the magic world leave much to wish for. Although she is involved with the magic world and knows her repertoire, she has spend too much time on her job and herself to really see what other magi might be able to do. She does not know anything about the grail war either and a lack of information can prove to be fatal in a war.
Her style might allow her to take on enemies that are already super human or simply not from this world, but the time limit is short and she would always end up on the lower end.
Both of her occupations cause a conflict not only for herself, but also the war itself. Combats would wear her out very fast and so require extended resting times afterwards, which are a very strong handicap, leaving her wide open for any kind of attacks.
Her guns are normal and completely ineffective against any kind of magic, which includes servants and partly Grail Beasts and she is one who would use her weapons as a last resort, which makes her a suitable target for attacks at the beginning stage of the war. If she was unable to gain sufficient data of it or happened to fall into one of those traps beforehand.
She may be cautious about strangers, but after someone managed to get on her good side, she is naive and trusting and prone to get used. As a good example. She once had no qualms to get one of her team members into jail, but still remains completely clueless about her father's criminal activities.

MY FAMILY LINE: //
The family has their origins in Egypt, or to be more precise in Atlas. A small group of 'alchemists' were interested in the decline of magic over the ages and if there were suitable methods to counter it. It was only a bit over 1000 years ago, when they managed to take a step forward to improve the ability of a modern magus to breath, but implementing it seemed useless, without a proper amount of circuits and they did not wish to help the Mage's Association.
They soon turned to change their studies to another method to obtain immortality, by making use of the specially enhanced cells, which were originally meant for the improved breathing. But the process was slow and many failures followed one after another, until around 500 years a leading member of a noble family betrayed Atlas, the good relations with the Church, just to obtain his very own immortality. As one who had a lot of interest in the project, it caused a fatal backfall and halted it, albeit many proceeded with alternative means and other researches to reach their goals.
It was never meant to be restarted, never meant to leave Atlas, but a forgotten, not too dangerous assumed secret was easier to obtain than world consuming weapons and a young researcher picked it up again and used the secrets on herself. Akin to sealing her own fate and destruction, she had only decreased her lifespan and was forced to leave her home. Her Thirst of knowledge had despite her exquisite abilities as an Atlas Alchemist who was known for her quick thinking, turned into her downfall.
Although the history behind her family is around 1000 years old, the family lineage itself will start with her as its creator or will cease to exist before that.
The traits from her mother are all that carried over.
MY HISTORY: //
Aya was born into a family in North America, her mother from Egypt, her father American, she grew up in a well protected environment. Only the excessive training with her father caused hardships for the young life. The strict man, only interested in strength and wealth was most eager to turn his daughter into a suitable successor. Himself just an ex magus of the Thule Association, a person who had ulterior motives behind everything and stole everything useful together, was still an accomplished martial artist and had studied intensively how he could improve his own abilities when he stumbled upon Magic, the Thule Association and the McRemitz Family.
6 years later, her mother moved out of the house for a mysterious upcoming event, but never told anyone for what reason. The interest of the rest of the family was great, and even the youngest, her younger sister Jen took a flight to Japan, Fuyuki. Only Aya and her father stayed behind and this was the last time she heard about them. From one day of the next she had lost most of her trusted ones and nearly her entire family. Although she continued her training, it began to make a sense. She wished to get stronger, become a detective and solve the mystery.
Like life went some things took a change from the original route and Aya's goal shifted slightly from a pure detective to becoming a cop, while unexpectedly receiving training from the McRemitz family. It seemed they had also lost their next in line and wished for a suitable 'kid' to marry into their family when the time was ripe. Aya happened to be a suitable candidate, but never saw a greater interest behind the training, than her own goals.
At the age of 18, she joined the Police Force with great zealous interest and was one of the top members of her class. Especially her Law Enforcement and Melee training went smoothly thanks to her previous training, but somehow it did not seem to be enough. Her range of influence was not too much and she did not wish to rely on her father. The only choices seemed to join the International Police Force to reach all of the World. Although her results were good, she was denied. For unknown reasons they did not seem to trust her (her father was the reason.) and she was still young and inexperienced. The comment stubborn was the only black patch on her file.
Seeking another distance from her life, she left America after turning 23 and immigrated to Britain to seek out the roots of magic and the Mage Association. Unfortunately for her, this was just the next failure and her disappointment could not be greater. She had not only failed to reach goal number two but also her chances of becoming a proper magus and gaining knowledge about Fuyuki had failed bitterly. That was when she saw no other reason than joining the army, but this was also the begin of a successful period. Adapting well to the field despite being formerly known as a troublemaker and hot head made her very interesting for the S.A.S and she could use the time to gain knowledge, experience and age, but also some distrust.
It seemed odd for many that she never received a scratch, even during strenuous workout, never seemed to tire out when others were long on the ground, and how she still looked like she had just turned 20. Aya herself also disliked the fact that she had to use a weapon more often than handcuffs and just increased her dislike against killing. This also began to grow a wall between her and the rest of the unit and one small mistake lead to the death of her superior. It was not her fault and a committee proved it, but his successor put the blame on her and she could not expect the support from the other members anymore.
The only option was to leave, but fate finally allowed her wish to be granted and soon before leaving the force, she could find a letter for acceptance. After finishing a couple of tests to renew her knowledge, some extensive training to improve her slightly rusted magecraft, Aya started at Interpol and really managed to get to Japan. There it was finally time to set her plan into motion and start an official investigation about the incident 23 years ago.

Rune Magic
The origins lie in old scandinavia, but also spread across Northern Ireland and can be dated back to druids and the Age of Northern Gods. Instead of making use of regular spells with enchantment, a drawn rune replaces it. It automatically realizes the so called mystery once inscribed. Despite their similarities to Magic Crests they are disliked by the Mage's Association. Runes are usually only effective at Zero Range because targets with Magic Circuits have a high resistance, making it necessary to inscribe the rune directly on the target. This usually reduces them to support magic, rather than powerful offensive spells.
Aya only knows a few, because they seemed practical for her.
Breathing
Magi collect Od from the surrounding and it turns into prana for their own use. The world does not contain as much od as it did in the Age of Gods and it turned into a rare resource, often taking a while to replenish a magus' prana reserves. Aya's Sorcery Trait are a pack of enhanced cells improving her ability of breathing and creating prana. She turns into something like a mini generator and can eliminate the handicap of other magi mostly. Unfortunately her capacity is too low to make any good use of it in actual combat, it allows her to shape up fast after combat, if not for her hunger handicap, and a servant can feel excessive resources. This also allows her to replenish her prana in the middle of extended combat periods.
Memory Partition
Memory Partition is an ability the Alchemists of Atlas use to split the mind into several autonomous parts like a computer. The average alchemist can create three to five partitions, while prodigies such as Sion Eltnam Atlasia can create up to seven partitions.
MAGIC CIRCUITS: // 8 Circuits with a Pr Capacity of 2 giving her a total of 16 Prana.
SPELLS: //
They are all based on Rune Magic.
Metabolism (Rune, Reinforcement, Fire)
Rank: B
Cost: 8 pr
Range: 30m at most
Effect:
The energy increase in the cells leads to an increased metabolism, regrowth of cells and healing. Actually closer to the lightning element, it is a sub-element of Fire. It is usually meant to enhance herself. The metabolism rises, causing her to toughen up and healing wounds at faster rates, sometimes almost instantly. This would of course depend on the type of wound and how deep it is though. For a normal person this would also mean aging, but Aya is a bit special in this regard. It simply increases rate of healing and on a servant can also raise his/her END stat for a limited amount of time. ++ During the first 5 minutes and + for the remaining 10. The spell lasts 15 minutes in total and only works on her own servant at 30 m range, other targets require a direct contact.
Battle Reinforce (Rune, Reinforcement)
Rank: B
Cost: 2 Pr per reinforced body part
Range: 0m - Self
Effect:
Only meant to reinforce the strength and reaction time of a limb and the hardness and speed of hand and feet to turn them into weapons. As this only works with 4 parts, obviously, her total consumption would be 8 per charge. It does not increase her toughness or resistance against attacks on the head or torso though. Although much slower in its activation than any other kind of reinforcement, it is also the strongest kind of reinforcement. The effect lasts for 15 minutes.
Pyrokinesis (Rune, Fire)
Rank: C
Cost: 10 Pr
Range: 20m
Effect:
The spell infects the enemy's cell and forces them to heat up. The endresult is self-combustion. While it certainly deals by far more damage than an ordinary fire spell, it is due to a magus' nature to flush out prana by far less effective against them and would in most cases just result in fever. The chance of dealing any damage at all is fairly slim, but if it really starts taking effect it deals horrible wounds. Direct inscribtion raises the chances considerably of course.
PLAYER'S NAME: // Sion
FACE CLAIM: // Aya Brea, Parasite Eve
OTHER CHARACTERS: // Saber - Mordred, Caster - Tamamo, Master - Lumi, Master - Celestina
MISC. INFORMATION: // I am aiming to go with a lower level character, who is clueless, like Shirou in some regard, while fighting like Kuzuki or better Bazett. She is more of a fighter than a great magus or a sneak magus. This will certainly make her very vulnerable but fun. I also don't intend to give her a servant right away, but she will be a master.
