  • From Russian, German and France he has been exposed to people that use their voice as power. Growing up D’eon dealt with the same kind of language from his parents as his father would unleash the stress of his court cases on his wife; while Francois fired back with equal fury about acting like such a brute around her. She had little interest in law talk and as a noblewoman would rather her husband partake in good manors. Still their son grew to have an equally foul mouth using cursing as a way to vent. Young Charles was quick to lose patience with anything that required him to remain calm. Adding to this fire was the fact that his mixed gender looks made him prime target to be mocked at school, but the boy was quick to resort to violence to deal with such problems. Some of his pet peeves would be any insult against god, cracks at his appearance and blatant ignorance.

  • Attending church, Charles did his own research on creative design and favored its theory over evolution. There were too many coincidences in the world and while he questioned the existences of god, his studies lead him to believe that it was the only possible explanation for existence. This being his lord and savoir he became thankful for all the gifts in his life and relied on god for strength. He came to accept that his body was the way that it was as part of a grand design by his maker and Charles came to terms with his genetic defects in order to only become stronger from it. God is given credit for all of the miracles and rewards in his life. Charles was Catholic in his religious beliefs which was common among the French.

  • Knowledge truly is power and Charles knew it well. As the son of a attorney he studied French law early on in his life. In school he gained awards for his ability to memorize historical data and English based literature. Throughout his whole life he strived to gain more knowledge and in every quest he partook on he sought to learn even more even while partaking in spy work. Aside from obtaining knowledge he also wrote his own book on government financing. Working with the Kings Ministry he was exposed to some of the most complex of books and he made it a point to read as many as possible.

  • While his mouth may spout nothing but trash, inside his mind the herm is making very quick assessments. He trusts very little and tends to do minor tests before accepting any kind of order, gift or letter. Constantly his mind works trying to find flaws and inconsistencies in what people say or physical actions that don’t match the emotional tone of their words. While keeping his opinions silent, Charles does act on them without choosing his phrasing very wisely which can lead people to believe quite quickly how much trust he has for them. Commonly he’ll remain quite silent especially when the situation doesn’t call for his own interaction. As an author, politician and captain he has a strong loyalty to his country and god. His focus and dedication gave him the ability to find weaknesses if everything that stood as an opposing force; frail vulnerabilities that some might over look, Charles focuses on with a dead sight. With his military training he is exceedingly proficient in sword based combat from fencing to duel wielding. His style is quite barbaric and swift paced making it clear that any battle he engages in he wants to be able to end quickly. Finally he has skill with deception tactics often being over looked as an insignificant factor in someone’s mental accession of a situation. While his mouth is quite dirty, he still says the basic concepts of what he wants his listener to here… if just comes off in an insulting way.

Charles is very now now now, the longer something goes on the less chance he’ll get of achieving his goal. His stamina is low and ability to take a hit is lacking. Because of this he’ll stand stationary while examining his opponent needing the time to figure out their flaws. If not given this time then he’ll remain of the defensive until having something to work with. However this cannot last long because his muscles give out if too much is forced on them too soon. Charles also has a hard time socializing with mostly everyone so he remains quite silent, however it does not take much to ignite his fuse. Despite looking so feminine, hardly anything he does is gentle. Additionally if s/he is put up against a power that has no weakness, vulnerability or flaws then it is considered a perfect strike and most likely if s/he cannot avoid the strike it will mean massive damage or death.

MY HISTORY: //[/color]

Born under a lawyer and noble woman, Charles grew up mostly seeking knowledge while in his early years. However because of the times Louis had his son trained in the art of fighting as well. There were not many dull moments and the boy was always keeping himself busy with a book or in training. His mind and body progressed at a rapid rate due to his uncanny ability to memorize with almost crystal clarity. In school he won many rewards and was picked on for being a nerd and very effeminate in appearance. However such titles only caused the boy to get violent and put all that training to good use. Because of his parents connections his fighting habits went mostly unpunished and a sort of special treatment. In his teen years he’d take up writing making school articles of his opinion on law and the government at large. The book reveals his pride in the law and his countries king.

After graduating college he’d go on to work as a secretary of Fiscal responsibility. Commonly he was mistaken for a woman as his growth cycle had a slight defect that had produced very little testosterone but an equal amount of estrogen which caused an imbalance. Charles was well aware of the rights and respect he’d lose if he kept being confused for a woman so he began suppressing the changes and hiding them behind looser clothing. However after being appointed to a spy network directly under King Louis, those feminine attributes came in handy as he went into a covert mission as a secretary to get information of Russia’s own empress Elizabeth. Under cover he was able to make negotiations with the empress and return to France in success.

During the time of the Seven Year War he was appointed the rank of Captain and led a French force of Dragoons. In one major campaign he took shrapnel damage on the left side of his body scarring his left side’s arms and legs and putting a gash in his head. For his service and spy work he was awarded the Saint Louis Cross which he wore with pride from that day onward. This was enough to earn him the rank of noble and raise his standing with France onto another elevation.

D’eon was appointed a minister in London once again taking part in spy activities. Using wine exports from his new Vineyard he gained popularity quickly amongst the London Aristocrats. However his spy work was starting to become unmasked and pending a investigation Charles was forced to leave London. Though trying to appeal to some of his elite friends, non of them would side with him. When he refused to leave he find that his wine had been laced with opium, do to his cautious nature Charles did not end up drinking it. Despite the attempts on his life the herm did not give up his mission. Instead he published some very famous letters on the government, however he left out the key line about France’s king planning to invade England do to his loyalty toward the French. This more than likely saved his life; however it became his greatest regret. As a man of god he believed that the truth was the only power a man ever needed.

After being exiled from the political scene, he tried to remake a new image of himself and took on the legal role of a woman; however his old king had died and with him the invasion of England. The new king still had interest in Charles though and in return for his secret documents, Louis the 16th made Charles legally female under the condition that he actually dresses the role. Still hungry for battle Charles asked the new king to send him to the US to fight in the war. But his work as a spy was far more valuable and his insistence caused the king to punish him with 19 days in the dungeon.

The rest of his life after was spent with his mother in England until her death. After that he held parties for the elites but found that his true love was in combat. Charles took part in many fencing tournaments; his most famous was against the Prince of Wales. Eventually his age wouldn’t allow this level of stress anymore and he died out in 1810.

Feeling the end of his life a failure when he gave into cowardice, he realizes now that his true desire is to expose Louis the 15th’s plot to invade England and redo the day he published the letters, memories and proprieties of the French king.

While trained in the art of fencing, his true battle style was that of a twin pair of long butcher blades. Curving into a half crescent, they push forward very sharp barbaric teeth. These weapons are highly durable and can have multiple functions in combat. Sometimes one will be abandon for the sake of a spring board maneuver. Their raw power comes mostly from momentum so these weapons are more or less accustomed to just Charles taste.

Le Fortelle

Two swords that are crafted from the finest in French iron. Both of them have identical structure and house the same abnormal durability. Their true power is actually behind how they cut, not what they cut. Using Charles ability to identify vulnerabilities, flaws and weaknesses these blades can cut into energy or powerful attacks in order to disperse their power. The best way to think of it is seeing the most fragile layer of his opponents strike. Like a chisel hitting a rock in the perfect spot, the force can have its roots stripped away in a single stroke. However this effect is worthless if Charles is not able to identify the weakness so it relies completely on its wielders knowledge in order to perform the ability.

This attack can still weaken attacks as long as D’eon is able to at least partially identify the vulnerability. When Charles eyes reveal an imbalance, inconsistency, a completely reliance on a certain point, watered down variants of power that do not flow with the rest of the attack, an energy recoil it shows up in his mind as a energy prana based vortex. When these are revealed is when s/he burst forward with pure agility and will try to use Fortelle to strike into the center dispersing energy or cutting straight into the opponent themselves. This vortex only shows up when prana is being focused so normal physical attacks are still up to Charles judgement. Once the breaking point of any attack is established, that's when s/he makes their move to strike it.

[] Besides being well crafted and durable, the weapons themselves have no real power except as tools for Charles to cut into the weakness vortex's of his opponents.[]

This is the herms ability to perceive weaknesses in his opponents. When his eyes glow yellow his prana infects the air around his advisory causing a prana based sight to be projected to Charles. With this vision he can spot power focuses and thus know where attacks will be projected from and with how much power behind them. With this sight it makes it easy to know where to cut with Le Fortelle in order to break his opponent’s attacks. La Vie can only see prana so physical weaknesses are still up to Charles to find on his own.

When activated the air in the herms sight becomes distilled and lighter. All things he is looking upon now take on a glow based on their prana type. Dark energy produces a black glowing aura and light energy is yellow and that shows all of the mana points on Charles opponents. When normally attacking physically the flow usually stays the same unless someone tries to increase the power of their punch, then the mana would be seen flowing into a higher concentration into their fist. When its focused into a weapon the weapon will take on the same stir of power. If the energy is shot off forward and isn't perfect then it will reveal the sinking vortex in his prana sight that shows where Charles needs to cut in order to break the attack.

[] Charle's put his prana in the air and everything within that air will have it's prana flow revealed. The root and weakest link of that flow will show up in his mind as a vortex that if Charle's cuts into will severe the link between the prana and its user for that action.[]

The cross given to him for his services as a captain of the elite Dragoon of France. It’s prime functioned is designed to make sure that Charles does not repeat the same mistakes twice in battle. After making contact with anything with Le Fortelle, the cross reacts with the vibration of the strike. If nothing happens from the opponents side then the cross will do nothing, however if on impact some kind of status effect of defensive reaction is triggered from the opposing force that has a negative effect of Le Fortelle, the cross will feed that information into Charles so he doesn’t do that same action twice.

Another way to look at it is a pressure based echo location. As the impact occurs normally the waves of the pressure send information back into Charles that nothing has changed. But if upon hitting something and the information from the wave is different than before, the information will reveal what has changed after the attack. For example if s/he was cutting down a normal tree the vibration would remain the same. If the tree however inflicted him with some kind of poison, s/he'd be hit with a different signal then its normal production and know that something has just infected his/her system. Basically whatever s/he is hitting will infect his pressure wave and ride that wave straight into D'eon. It then reveals the change to Charles to keep him from repeating the problem.

[] When his sword hits something, the pressure from the vibration sends back a wave of information letting Charles know if anything has changed.[]
