- Honour
- Guan Yu has a powerful sense of honour, he pays his debts and is aggressive toward people who betray their word.
- Morality
- Despite his honour, Guan Yu has been known to betray an oath to do what he thinks is “right”. He has a strong sense of right and wrong, and tries to minimize innocent casualties.
- Bonding
- Guan Yu has a tendency to “bond” with his master and perhaps some of their friends. He begins to understand their wishes and desires, making them his own. This combined with his morality and honour would make him betray only the cruellest of masters. Of course, short of a catalyst, he would not be summoned by such an evil person.
- True Warrior
- When Guan Yu fights, he doesn’t hold back or look for anything other then victory. While he does not resort to dirty tactics, he also doesn’t give his opponent a moment’s respite. If something doesn't work, he will attempt new tactics to find something that does.
LIKES: // Honourable people, a worthy cause, sworn brothers
DISLIKES: // Dishonourable people, unpaid debts, cowardly and dirty tactics, people who stand in the way of his and his master’s desire.
STRENGTHS: // For a Rider Guan Yu has amazing stats, able to fight toe-to-toe with most servants. That combined with his polearm weapon will have most people mistakenly believing him to be of the Lancer class (the only hint would be his lesser agility), which can be used to his advantage when he uses his Noble Phantasm. His no-nonsense personality also gives him no reason to hold back any of his strength or prolong the fight more then necessary.
WEAKNESSES: // Both of Guan Yu’s Noble Phantasm are somewhat hampered. In the case of Red Hare, since he is not the “True” owner of it, it’s abilities are weakened. His other Noble Phantasm is incredibly powerful, but Guan Yu lack’s the prana to do it without a helping hand from his Master and Lucca itself, even then it leaves him incapacitated soon after use. Also, since he usually obeys his master without question, the strategic thinking of his master on how to win the war in general can easily make or break the situation for Guan Yu.

MY LEGEND: // en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guan_Yu
MY HISTORY: // Born from a family of scholars, it is surprising Guan Yu became what he is. I suppose the first sign of what he was to become was fleeing his home after slaying a local bully at the age of tw. Later he would meet Liu Bei, changing his life forever. With Guan Yu, Liu Bei, Zhang Fei, and an army of civilians, they went to join others to beat the “Yellow Turban Rebellion”.
After that Guan Yu, Liu Bei, and Zhang Fei became as close as brothers. Eating and sleeping together, almost always by each others side. When Guan Yu was separated from Liu Bei, he came back as soon as he knew of his location, fighting his way through five passes and six generals before finally returning.
After that, Guan Yu lead soldiers and did whatever Liu Bei requested of him. He fought many battles, such as the one at Red Cliffs, where my sense of morality and honour made me allow the enemy commander to escape as I owed him a debt.
But the time came when he was defeated by a secret alliance between enemies that lead to his capture and execution after refusing to surrender. It is said his head caused the death of Lu Meng and frightened Cao Cao into giving him a proper burial, although that truly is a “myth”.

MY GOALS: // To aid his master in their goal, if it is just. Also to wish for Liu Bei’s dream of “world peace” to come true, or if that is not in its power, then to have died together with him.

NOBLE PHANTASM: //
Green Dragon Crescent Blade
Rank: D
Type: Anti-Unit
Max Target: 1
A polearm weapon. The weapon was created from parts of a dragon, although how the dragon was killed has been lost in the passage of time. The blade itself being a carved tooth of the dragon brimming with Prana. This causes the prana to be expelled with each strike, similar to the effect of Prana Burst, and is D ranked in power rather then the A Saber knew This kind of effect will make people with one rank greater STR find themself on equal footing (a B+ or A+ is too much of an advantage for the ability to grant equal footing), equal STR will find each strike painful but possible to defend from, and lower STR best be good at deflecting rather then letting the weapons clash, because a strike will probably make them lose ground. The blade is limited to holding a total of ten prana-assisted strikes, but the dragon's spirit slowly regenerates the strikes even without assistance, although considering it takes about three hours for it to regenerate a single strike, it is better to get a Master's assistance. Depending on the proficiency of the Master. it would take about 1-2 hours to regenerate a single strike. So not the kind of thing that could be done in mid-battle.
Another ability the blade has is a strange form of magic resistance, allowing it to cancel spells it strikes. The resistance is equal to C rank, so high-level spells will not be nullified.
The weapon also contains the spirit of the dragon whose body made the blade, which is how it has most of these abilities. Once the spirit is released, the blade will remain strong, but will have no Magic Resistance or expell prana with each hit.
Red Hare – Legend Among Horses
Rank: B (C)
Type: Anti-Army
Max Targets: 1-10
Red Hare is the legendary horse that has been rode by two heroic spirits (Lu Bu and Guan Yu), and as such has gone beyond any other mortal horse and a legend in its own right.
A powerful charging attack using the legendary “Red Hare”, a horse that appears to be a blur even to Servants. A high Agility and Eye of the Mind (true or fake) is required to dodge this attack, and a near miss still deals minor damage from the shockwave. This ability is weakened since the Noble Phantasm truly belongs to Lu Bu, the only man who truly tamed the horse. While it was also used by Guan Yu, it was never to the same effect.
The attack isn’t limited to one charge either, Guan Yu can maintain Red Hare for about three minutes under optimal conditions, but in a combat scenario he can maintain Red hare for one and a half minutes.
Nameless Dragon of the Crescent Moon
Rank: A+
Type: Anti-Fortress
Max Targets: 500 people
Guan Yu’s most powerful Noble Phantasm, Awakening and releasing the spirit of the dragon within his weapon and “guiding” its power. The dragon has a chinese Dragon’s body with shimmering green scales that seem to emanate prana. The “attack” can be used in several ways, but it is merely manipulating the prana in slightly different ways, and thus is treated as the same Noble Phantasm.
By pointing the blade at a target, the dragon spirit turns into a beam similar to Excalibur, only of pure destructive prana that Magic Resistance is next to useless against simply due to the overwhelming power and authority of the attack.
It can also simply be expelled outwards in a manner similar to an explosion via striking the earth with the blade, although depending on the distance away from the centre of the blast and Magic Resistance a Servant may be able to survive.
Finally, it can be reabsorbed into the weapon by lifting it high into the air and expelled in one strike on the target, obliterating them utterly. This attack can only be used once, as after this strike the spirit of the dragon fades away, also taking the expelling of prana and resistance to magic with it.
Only being able to be used once, combined with the amount of prana required often leaving Guan Yu incapacitated means this technique is really a last resort attack. Also, Guan Yu lacks the capability to ride such a thing, and since it is merely the spirit of a dragon it wouldn’t last long enough anyway.

CLASS ABILITIES: //
Riding: B
Most vehicles can be handled with above average skill. However, cannot ride the likes of Phantasm Races such as Demoniac Beast and Holy Beast-rank creatures.
All creatures but those of Phantasmal Beast and Divine Beast-rank can be used as mounts.

SKILLS: //
Bravery: B
Melee damaged is increased, and mental interferences like pressure, panic, and confusion are canceled.
Eye of the Mind (True): C
Heightened insight that was refined through experience. At this rank Guan Yu is able to remain calm even when in danger and come up with a strategy to try and defeat his opponents.
